Kimbo Slice LOST???? (UU RMT)

This is my new uu team that I've been working on for quite some time. I have tested it to some success on shoddy, but I still feel as though it could be improved. (Changes in Bold)

First, I knew I wanted choice specs Yanmega:

Then i needed something to take on Chansey, Yanmegas number one counter:

From there I knew I needed an ice resist and a decent lead:

From there, I needed a spinner:

I knew I needed some sort of steel type for all those useful resistances:

To finish off, I wanted a grass type to absorb leech seed and for some status:

Thats the back story, and now the team.

Yanmega
Yanmega.jpg

6 Def 252 Sp.Atk 252 Speed
Choice Specs
Modest
Tinted Lens

Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power [Ground]

Specs Yanmega is a beast. 546 Sp.Atk and the ability to hit almost everything with a neutral base 90 stab attack is crazy.
Air Slash is just secondary stab. Shadow ball hits ghosts for just a little more then bug buzz while Ancient Power is mostly used for things x4 weak to it, Moltres and Articuno mostly. To me everything but Bug Buzz are mostly fillers because that is the move used most.

Milotic

252 Hp 252 Def 6 Sp.Atk
Leftovers
Bold
Marvel Scale

Ice Beam
Surf
Hidden Power [Grass]
Recover

Awesome suggestion made by Franky over Typhlosion. Has the ice and that i used typhlosion for but is a lot harder to take down. Surf has stab, Ice Beam hits Altaria, HP [Grass] takes on quagsire and other water types that try to ruin my day. Recover is basic recovery.

Steelix
208-steelix_t2.jpg

252 Hp 252 Sp.Def 6 Atk
Leftovers
Sassy
Sturdy

Earthquake
Roar
Crunch
Stealth Rock

Steelix is my main physcial defender as without evs and a +def nature he still hits 436 def, which is massive. Roar is a really good move for taking on curse registeel and other randon cursers as well as coming with the possibility of seeing some of my opponents team. Earthquake provides STAB and Crunch is for those Rotoms that think they can come in on me for free and Stealth rock is just really good.

Venusaur
venusaur.jpg

6 Hp 252 Atk 252 Spd
Leftovers
Jolly
Overgrow

Swords Dance
Earthquake
Power Whip
Sleep Powder

SD Venusaur can catch a lot of things off guard, while still being able to sleep a check/counter with sleep powder. Earthquake is for Registeel, and anything that resists Grass. Power Whip is my super overly powered stab move with 120 base power.

Hitmontop
hitmontop.jpg

252 Hp 252 Atk
Leftovers
Adamant
Technician

Close Combat
Pursuit
Foresight

Rapid Spin

Hitmontop is my spinner, and one of the best in uu. Technician helps boost the power of Pursuit and Rapid Spin (lol) but it can help in the long run as intimidate only hits a pokemon once and then it can easily switch. Foresight lets me hit ghosts with CC and Rapid Spin, almost assuring that I will be able to gwet off a spin. Close Combat is a really good stab attack providing good type coverage with Sucker Punch. CC can also catch those random bold chanseys that want to stay in and toxic/thunder wave me. Sucker Punch helps against Ghosts too.

Dugtrio
dugtrio-2.jpg

6 Hp 252 Atk 252 Spd
Life Orb
Adamant
Arena Trap

Earthquake
Sucker Punch
Pursuit
Stone Edge

This is my revenge killer, and a really good one at that. Dugtrio picks off weakened pokes without the possibility of escape. Adamant over jolly for the extra power as most things in uu either arent as fast or can easily be picked off by sucker punch. Dugtrio is my main way to get over Chansey, if I can get in on T-Wave or Wish/Softboiled, then I can take it out as long as it doesnt have shed shell.

I <3 UU team ^^

OKay some suggestions:

- On lead-typlosion I suggest choice scarf instead of specs and a modest nature. Simple because faster opponent could do damage to you and that way lowering eruptions power.

- On Yanmege I suugest you switch ancient powder to hidden power (ground)

Not much to say about the rest, they look fine ^^
Hope I helped!

One thing I noticed in the way of defense... how to you guard against strong Earthquakes/ground moves? Steelix and specially oriented Venusaur don't like quakes... I guess you'd just switch in Yanmega, but isn't it inopportune to bring him in sometimes?

Black Scizor: Scarf Lead Typhlosion makes a lot more sense, and Hidden Power [Ground]>Ancient Power.

Kabuto Mushi: Your right, I dont have much to take ground attacks, so most of the time I do just switch in Yanmega, which can be good, but not always. What do you think I should do about it?

Nice team. Typhlosion is the weakest link to this team currently and provides nothing to the common leads today. I highly suggest replacing it for Milotic, who serves a better purpose to your 'ice' check from your description, as well as taking on Blaziken a really dangerous threat to your team. Milotic at a Bold nature and EVs of 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpA and moveset Surf / HP Grass / Ice Beam / Recover should do well for this team. Surf will always OHKO Blaziken, while HP Grass hits SubAzumarill, DD Feraligatr, as well as SD Kabutops for super effective damage and prevents them from getting an easy set up. Ice Beam covers Altaria. Recover is a nice way to heal off damage, and Milotic can take quite the beating.

With that being said, a simple switch to Yanmega as a lead would work out. Why would it work out? Immediate power vs. Uxie leads which is one of the top leads today and it forces it to switch-out, preventing an easy SR from it. Timid Nature could favor you actually as it outpaces opposing Roserade and many Pokemon who linger in that Speed point mark. The added Speed is great, so defenitley try Timid.

With Steelix, Roar over Gyro Ball should be the best option currently to handle Curse Registeel. If you let it get too many Curses, you cannot dent it with any attacks whatsoever and I've been down that road. Also prevents a couple of Curse users like Muk, Miltank, etc. though uncommon, but it provides an extra safety in case it happens. Its mostly for Curse Registeel though as well as CM Uxie.

On Hitmontop, look for Pursuit over Sucker Punch. Alot of the times, you get Mismagius come in and your forced to spam Sucker Punch until it attacks, and chances are it might have a Sub on your face to block your spin. With Pursuit, you remove it early in the match and it forces Missy to attack you. You can 2HKO it with SR down even if it doesn't run away. While I feel that Intimidate is great, Technitian would probably work better to make Pursuit hurt more. Foreseight is probably the better option over Fake Out, otherwise Hitmontop would have a hard time spinning. Foreseight lets you hit Ghost-types with CC or Rapid Spin. Def. use that to improve Yanmega' sweep.

As for other options, I would probably go for an offensive Venusaur with Swords Dance. Why? Because Venusaur is a poor wall in my opinion and it contributes nothing for the team. Milo/Steel is a great walling combo if you take my advice, and it should let Venusaur space in SD set. With Swords Dance / Earthquake / Power Whip / Sleep Powder, you can hurt unprepared stall teams, and lure in Registeel and smash it with Earthquake. With Registeel lured in and removed, Yanmega's sweep becomes much easier. Overall gl.

Kabuto Mushi: but then that would be 4 pokes weak to ice and water with one resist for each. Hitmontop didnt resist but at least it was neutral

Thank you Franky for the awesome rate, all of your suggestions make a whole lot of sense so I will try them out.

That was to Kabuto Mushi, the guy that posted like right before you. :)

Oh I was wondering.. cause' it wasn't x4 weak to water / ice with my suggestion. Just wanted to clarify something y'know.. :]
