Introduction:
I present my balanced team.
My idea was to make a balanced team with three walls and three sweepers. I always thought my teams as follows: Lead with Stealth Rock + Special Sweeper + Physical Sweeper + Special Wall + Physical Wall + Support / Revenge Killer. Also always include at least one annoyer and a Pokémon with Heal Bell or Aromatherapy to heal the status of the team.
The Team in Depth:
Uxie @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spe)
~ Stealth Rock
~ Heall Bell
~ Psychic
~ U-Turn
My Lead and Physical Wall. Stealth Rock to hurt to every opponent every time they change. With Heal Bell it's the team's cleric, this move is fixed in its moveset. Psychic to can hit the oponent and to avoid Taunt. Finally, I select U-Turn, recommended by Snorlaxe, to scout for switches from the opponent, and switch to a counter if a troublesome Pokemon for my team happens to switch in.
Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait: Inner Focus
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 6 Def
Jolly Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
~ Swords Dance
~ Close Combat
~ Crunch
~ Extremespeed
Classic Lucario with Swords Dance. In my opinion, one of the best physical sweepers in the metagame. With one Swords Dance Lucario gives OHKO to many of the threats and causes masive damage to everything else. Close Combat and Crunch do neutral damage to all Pokémon except Heracross and Toxicroak. Extremespeed to finish with weakenes oponents.
Zapdos @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 252 SAtk, 252 Spe, 6 HP
Timid Nature (+Vel, -Atk)
~ Thunderbolt
~ Heat Wave
~ Hidden Power Grass
~ Roost
My Special Sweeper and Scizor's Counter. It hits hard and doesn't have bad defenses. Thunderbolt as a STAB move, Heat Wave to kill Scizor mainly, Hidden Power Grass because Swampert usually swichs to stop Zapdos. Roost allows you to recover from damage. I prefer Leftovers that Life Orb as a Item to give it greater durability.
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EV's: 188 HP, 252 Def, 68 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
~ Surf
~ Wish
~ Protect
~ Hidden Power Electric
Support and the second Physical Wall. It provides support to the team with Wish, that also allows it to heal itself and Stall its rival some rounds. Protect to protect itself while it healing with Wish or to see that move does its oponent. Surf as STAB move and HP Electric to OHKOing always to BulkyGyara.
Snorlax @ Chesto Berry/Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EV's: 168 HP, 120 Def, 220SpD
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SAtk)
~ Curse
~ Body Slam
~ Rest
~ Crunch
My Special Wall, the tipical CurseLax. It boost itself with Curse, to increase their Attack and Defense, Rest to recover their HP when it has some Curses. Body Slam as STAB move, with 30% chance of paralyzing the opponent. I prefer Crunch to Fire Punch and Earthquake. I doubt both Chesto Berry to wake up when it use Rest the first and Leftovers, that possibly will be more resistant.
Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 6 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
~ Earthquake
~ Outrage
~ U-Turn
~ Stone Edge
In this team I have chosen to have a Revenge Killer. Earhtquake and Outrage as STAB moves, U-Turn to do it when I predict a swich and ThunderPunch is for Gyarados.
Threat List:
Defensive Threats:
Blissey: Lucario and Flygon can swich when she uses Toxic or Thunder Wave respectively and threaten her with their powerful physical moves.
Bronzong: Not a problem for this team. Most of my Pokemon can swich in a move by Bronzong. Vaporeon can stall it.
Celebi: Flygon swich in Thunder Wave and do a masive damage with U-Turn.
Cresselia: Is a problem, but I can weaken her with Flygon's U-Turn and Snorlax and Lucario Crunch.
Donphan: No problem for Vaporeon.
Dusknoir: Lucario and Snorlax weak it with Crunch.
Forretress: Zapdos gives OHKO it with Heat Wave.
Gliscor: Vaporeon can weak it with Surf.
Gyarados: Vaporeon can stall it. Flygon can OHKO with ThunderPunch.
Hippowdon: No problem for Vaporeon.
Jirachi: Zapdos's Heat Wave threat it.
Skarmory: Zapdos takes care of it without any problem
Snorlax: Flygon and Lucario threat it, but I need take care not to boost iself.
Suicune: If it not Rest, Vaporeon Toxic it and stall it. Zapdos also can face it.
Swampert: Vaporeon can stall it. Swamp never expected the HP Grass Zapdos.
Tentacruel: Flygon deals it with Earthquake.
Tyranitar: Not a problem for Lucario.
Vaporeon: Zapdos is my biggest asset against Vaporeon
Zapdos: In general, Snorlax can receive all their attacks and take advantage to use Curse.
Offensive Threats:
Aerodactyl: Flygon, Vaporeon, Uxie... don't have a problem with it.
Azelf: Special variants are stoped by Snorlax. Flygon can Revenge Killing.
Breloom: Uxie does not receive much damage from their attacks and may threaten to Psychic.
Dragonite: First thing is to discover his set. Then, Vaporeon, Snorlax or Uxie can handle it.
Dugtrio: Not a problem.
Electivire: Flygon can swich in ThunderPunch and OHKO it with Earthquake.
Gallade: Vaporeon can stall it. Uxie hold well its hits.
Gengar: Can be a problem, but Flygon can Revenge Killing.
Gyarados: Vaporeon stall it. Flygon hold their hits and give it OHKO with ThunderPunch. If I use Thunderbolt in Uxie, it can stop Gyarados also.
Heatran: In general, Snorlax can stop him. Vaporeon could be a threat to Heatran. If necessary, Flygon can Revenge Killing.
Heracross: Not a problem for Zapdos.
Infernape: Uxie confronts it. Flygon can Revenge Killing.
Jolteon: Not a problem for Snorlax and Flygon.
Latias: If it's Scarf, I have a problem. Flygon's U-Turn threat her, Vaporeon stalls to versions without Thunderbolt or Grass Knot.
Kingdra: It's a very big problem. If not Rain, Flygon Revenge Killing it.
Lucario: Flygon stops it. Vaporeon can stall it.
Machamp: Another big problem. I don't know how stop it.
Magnezone: Not problem for Flygon.
Mamoswine: Lucario gives it a good hit. Vaporeon can stop it.
Metagross: Zapdos, Flygon... no problem.
PorygonZ: If it's Scarf, I just need a bit prediction.
Salamence: It's a very big problem. Vaporeon Toxic it.
Scizor: Zapdos, it's natural counter.
Starmie: Flygon's U-Turn and bye bye Starmie.
Togekiss: Zapdos and its Thunderbolt are the best for this haxer.
Tyranitar: Lucario and Flygon stop it.
Weavile: Vaporeon can stall it.
Yanmega: Not a problem.
Zapdos: Snorlax stop it.
This is my new team. I hope your help to improve it. Thank you for read :)
