Smogon Superstars I: Quarterfinals

I beat panamaxis in an interesting OU game, we were unable to get a recorder for the game but we both have logs and I am willing to add commentary on my part if needed, etc.

Anyway I was considering letting pana advance as I have little to no experience in either UU/Ubers and would be likely demolished by anyone in the semis, but I still have to make a final call on it later in the week so we will see.

That is fine, I'll want a re-play though for youtube's sake. Although I'd at least try the other 2 tiers, but if you want to stop here, that's your choice.
 
Struggling with timezones, but we will beat the annoying problem and play by this Sunday, I imagine. We are both eager now and are still in consistent contact!
 
I'm willing to give extensions to any match if you have timezone conflicts like Ashley does, I really wanna see these matches put on youtube, especially Jibbles vs. Phil.
 
I know I said on IRC that a rematch may be possible but I soon thereafter remembered paralysis was evident a lot in that battle and that in conjunction with a fairly big amount of turns pretty much makes the match impossible to replay..sorry about this.

Ahh great... that means I have nothing to show for your quarterfinal match. If you can, play a match for fun, so I at least have something to show.
 
-_- why does it matter? you still have the log. i don't see why vil and pana have to waste their time to get you a recording when it was the recorder persons fault
 
I won OU, then followed up with Ubers victory (an early miss essentially made it ridiculously one-sided instead of being a close match). I lost in a real fun "for kicks" UU match at the end. locopoke recorded OU and Ubers.

/edit: We're going to replay UU later for the camera seeing as there wasn't any hax.

A few rambles about our matches:

Ashley played great in our OU game, and it was absolutely my fault that I had the wrong item on a particular poke, who instead of revenging Ashely's most potent poke, got itself ohko'd. In Ubers, there was an important hax early on in the game which made things incredibly one sided as Ashely said. Finally in UU we had an interesting and hax-free game that went incredibly close at the end.

It was great fun being in this tourney and I thank LD for giving me the opportunity to progress in his place! Also, gl Ashley in the rest of the tournament!
