also another quick question on breeding: usually i breed about 10 of the correct nature then lvl them to 15 with daycare check ivs and if they r good range i use 21 rare candies to make the iv range way more certain... how do u guys breed? is it quicker to just hatch a single egg and then rare candy it n check?if so once i kno the egg sucks will i be a new egg when i reset my game or how does that work?

That's what I used to do before I got an AR, then I just used the IV check code. Also, if you ever get a Pokemon that has a characteristic that says anything but often dozes off, likes to thrash about, capable of taking hits, mischievous, somewhat vain, or alet to sounds, just release it imediately because it doesn't have 31 in anything. Also, Klutz will probably work better with Switcharoo so you can get rid of your item any time you want without any negative effects. (Unless you want a really fast Switcharoo with Choice Scarf or something.)

Registeel using Earthquake against a Choice Scarf Magnezone (probably more common than other steel trapping sets) is 88.3% - 105.3%

Of course, that would happen. But what about Magnet Rise and follow it up with a Substitute, well I guess this completely states that Registeel would lose to Magnezone. What'll you do? You can't use the most effective attack to Magnezone(Earthquake, due to Magnet Rise), You can't do shit due to the Substitute, and you can't switch out cause you're trapped by Magnet Pull and every time you attack with Ice Punch you can't do that much damage while Magnezone does 20-27% with Thunderbolt every time it attacks. And Magnezone is not the only one that would own Registeel, there are many ways(especially when Magnet Rise is up), Lucario pwning you with +2 CC, +2/3 Superpower from Scizor(although I'm not sure if it would KO, to lazy to calculate) and other pokemons that would pwn you. Otherwise, Registeel is best in UU, and not that much in OU. Maybe with a little bit of Screen support, Registeel would work in OU, and not all trainer carry Magnezone, correct? But it is still hard to play in OU.

How does Lickilicky learn the move Heal Bell? I see it in the move list he can learn on Smogon but when I check a site like Serebii or Bulbapedia, it doesn't list the move Heal Bell for him. So how (egg move? level and if so what level?) does Lickilicky learn Heal Bell?

When you're RNG breeding in DPP, do you have to get the seed of the Pokemon you catch after getting the egg? I figure that's what you probably do but it doesn't actually say to in the RNG guide.

For the HG/SS Pikachu-colored Pichu event...
If I caught I shiny Pichu by chaining on Diamond, would it unlock the special, notch-eared Pichu event? I've heard yes from a not as good source, but I'd think the game would know the difference and not unlock it.

So after learning that Shoddy's sprites can easily be changed around simply by copy/pasting files into the sprites folder.

No it will not.

Being beaten by Magnezone (conditionally), Scizor, Lucario etc does not stop him from being an effective Mence counter. This is why you have team mates. Theres nothing that guarantees that a person using Mence will also be using Magnezone. Most people think Mence can take Registeel anyways, and Mence loses. Most teams try to guarantee more than one way to deal with one pokemon as well, if one pokemon is your only answer to something there is going to be problems no matter what you do because the opposition may have more than one way of dealing with said answer to that pokemon.

How is it possible to have a Clefable that knows Wish and Aromatherapy at the same time? The combination is listed in its analysis, but the only other Pokemon that can learn both moves at the same time is the Chansey line, which can't be male, and Smeargle, which can't breed with Clefairy.

Does it just mean Heal Bell?

They do the same thing, so it meant Heal Bell.

Does the smogon calc automatically take in account abilities?(probably it does, but I wanted to be absolutely sure.) Ability in question: Intimidate.

It takes automatically into account abilities like technician, Intimidate must be set manually, as the program doesn't know if the defender is switching into the attacker to activate the ability (btw for intimidate you have to set -1 Atk in "boosts").

Where are the best trainers in Diamond I can rebattle considering Experience gain?

I would've thought going over the Elite Four multiple times

EDIT: After having a read around it seems the 2 main factors in gaining xp are the level of the foe and the xp yield of the species of pokemon you knock out. This xp yield seems to be highest for legendaries, then stuff you arent gonna find in the wild like starter pokes, then higher evolutions working its way down to lower evolutions to babies to magikarp.

So you want to be grinding around areas of high level mons, ideally fully evolved, so you're looking at rebattling the trainers on victory road or around stark mountain (i recall they had some interesting pokes). If you just want to run around caves and patches of grass then go for late-game areas where the mons are high levels.

Finally gyarados scores well so you could keep fishing him up and flattening him west of resort area

Does Glare work on ghost types? because I'm not quite sure on this answer because no where can give me an answer. I have a feeling it doesn't work since its a normal move but I think it has worked in previous gens

I'm running a team with Lucario. Consequenly I want to get rid of Gliscor. What's the best way to do this? Are there any lure sets that might work, because at the moment Ice fang Hippowdon is all I've got.

You could go with Tyranitar with Ice Beam.

Presumably with Expert Belt and Crunch/Stone Edge/Pursuit or something to bluff ScarfTar? Problem is that people still notice the power drop. Another problem is that if I appear to be locked into a move, the opponent would usually just try to set up rather than send in Gliscor, who doesn't resist any of TTars attacks. An ice beam lead set might work, since Gliscor is common there.

Gliscor is still one of the main counters of DD-tar. If you run a mixed Dragon Dance set with DD/ Crunch/ Ice Beam/ Earthquake or something like that, you will actually outspeed Gliscor after a DD and OHKO with Ice Beam.
