I just looked on Bulbapedia and Smogon, and neither has it able to learn Helping Hand. It does learn Follow Me, maybe that's what you were thinking of.

Yeah, you're right. I had been thinking of Follow me.

Or you could put it into the Daycare to gain a few levels. Be careful with Egg Moves, however, as they won't hesitate to delete Egg Moves for a "better" move.

It doesn't go by "better" moves, it just adds them to the bottom, and moves them all up. However, for breeding purposes, it stays with whatever moves had when it was deposited in the day care.

I can't remember the exact ev spread for my Milotic, but it's at level 100... Could it make a fine sleep-talker with these stats?

393 HP/X/252 Defense/236 Sp.Atk/319 Sp.Def/198 Speed

If you want a defensive Gyarados, then Def EV's is the right answer isn't it? If you want a more tank Gyarados, then Atk Ev's, because Gyarados has Intimidate ;)

Tanks can fight back;)

For example, Blissey is a defensive Pokemon. It 'can't fight back', it can annoy.
Swampert is a tank. It has good defensive capabilities, but can fight back as well

I hope this question hasn't been asked before, but I don't have the time or patience to read through 61 pages of questions, so I'm gonna ask anyway.

Can 2 pokemon from a split evolution (like Slowbro and Slowknig, or an Eveelution) be used on 1 team under species clause? Also, can a fully evolved pokemon and a preevolution (like Scizor and Scyther) be used on 1 team under species clause?

I haven't played OU for so long, so I have a question.
Which spectrum has the OU metagame currently shifted to? Offensive? Bulky Offensive? Stall? Balanced and etc?

Which seems to be the most effective playstyle or popular playstyle at the moment?

Can Light Screen be used on LeadGross? The analysis mentiones Reflect on Trick leads, but isn't protecting Metagross from the special side a better idea?

What does Aggron want Flinch hax for? It should only be outrunning things after a Rock Polish, at which point what it needs is coverage with Head Smash - neither of those moves provide this, although at least Iron Head produces some additional coverage, has a higher flinch rate iirc, and is more powerful.

I'd be glad to use Head Smash, but I lack a HG/SS Aron.

Also, Aggron's old standard used TWave. That's why I though of using sort of a "flinch-hax" effect.

Why are you using Aggron then? Anyway if you actually want to flinch the opponent, Iron head is still better.

Also, is TrickGross a good idea for an Uber lead? Trick+Pursuit messes-up Deoxys-S and the many other Psychics...

Serebbi doesn't have move tutor moves, check to see if they have snorlax learning selfdestruct. Does anyone know if togekiss learns helping hand through tutoring in hg ss?

It does not: Follow Me was the move being thought of. Here is a list of all the Pokémon who learn Helping Hand and how they learn it.
