Uu Baton Pass.

Electrode @ Light Clay
Ability: Soundproof
Evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Taunt
- Explosion

Electrode’s job is to start the game off as soon as possible with Double Screen. He’s got the fastest Taunt in the game, so there’s not many Pokémon who are gonna be able to Taunt his Taunt. After that, I’ll set up whatever Screen best fits the situation. Hopefully, I get off the Double Screen but if not I’ll just blow up and probably take their Pokémon down too.

Gligar @ Yache Berry
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Rock Polish
- Taunt
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance

After Electrode does his job, I send in Gligar. This set is the exact same as the Pure Baton Pass set for OU. It works really well and after I do this set-up I might be able to switch in Sableye for the sweep. It’s really advantageous for me to get off all the boosts and this becomes easier behind Electrode’s screens.

Gorebyss @ Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Baton Pass
- Amnesia
- Waterfall
- Iron Defense

Gorebyss is my defensive Baton Passer. She’s got the full complement of defensive Baton Passing techniques. I have Waterfall over Surf in here because she’s more likely to be receiving stuff off of Gligar. She can’t Taunt so it’s best for her to be able to fight back in case she does get Taunted.

Umbreon @ Chople Berry
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Yawn
- Taunt
- Mean Look

Umbreon is my Mean Look passer and he also sets up advantageous situations for my Baton Passes. Mean Look is really good to Baton Pass if they send in a wall, and the sleep off of Yawm gives my team the perfect situation. I really want Wish over Yawn but that hasn’t been a problem yet.

Mr. Mime @ Leftovers
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 100 SpD / 58 Spe
Calm nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

Mr. Mime is really good in Baton Pass because of how he has Soundproof and stuff. He does the same thing as my Umbreon, setting up good situations for my other Baton Passers which in this case is hiding behind a Substitute with the other Pokémon asleep.

Sableye @ Lum Berry
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Thunder Punch
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Sucker Punch

Sableye is a really unusual reciever. On the bright side, his attack is somewhat decent for UU and he has access to all the elemental punches as well as no weaknesses. Lum Berry is if they want to Sleep then Roar me or something like that, which Sableye helps stop. Sucker Punch is a good priority STAB move that can probably take out Phazers.

I'm new to competitive battling so my team probably isn't that great. I want to keep the Baton Pass theme in there though and I realy like the Electrode-Gligar-Gorebyss synergy, so I would like to keep those. All comments are greatly appreciated. (:

Hello,

I think you should change a few things in order to be more successful.
First, your team would really appreciate Stealth Rock. If you go for the sweep, you will be stopped by each random Sash user without rocks. I don't really know where to put it though if you really want to keep your Electrode, Gorebyss and Gligar. So just hope you don't see any Sash holders.
Second, you should definitely use Wish over Yawn on Umbreon. 2 reasons for this: 1) Wish is a really useful move for each Baton Pass team, 2) Mr.Mime already has a sleeping move, so sleep clause will hinder one of those two.
Third, definitely don't use Sableye as your recipient. Its speed and attack stats are just too bad to effectively sweep. You should use Pinsir in that slot. It will be able to ohko each single pokemon in the UU environment if you manage to pass it +4 attack. Even at +2 it will ohko almost everything. At +2 speed Jolly it will also outspeed everything in the whole game, even with choice scarf. So it will always suffice to pass one agility, which gives you the time for more Swords Dances with Gligar. The following moveset is required:
Pinsir@Lum Berry
Jolly-252Atk, 252Spe, 4HP
Mold Breaker/Hyper Cutter
-X-Scissors
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide/Stone Edge
-Return/Swords Dance
Ability options: Mold Breaker is preferred as it allows Pinsir to ohko Weezing and Rotom with earthquake at +4 attack. However if you feel you will always be able to pass +6 attack to Pinsir, Fury Cutter is viable as you will then be able to kill Rotom anyway and you can't get intimidated. Rock Slide over Stone Edge because of the accuracy and Rock Slide will score the same crucial ohkos. Although Swords Dance seems odd, it will help a lot if your opponent has an intimidate user. He will most likely switch it in, switch out again to sacrifice something and switch it in again. If you predict such a switch a well timed SD can really save you the win.

Hope I could help. Good Luck !

Hm yeah SR sounds like it would be really amazing. I might stick it over Taunt on Gligar but that might not be the best choice, especially if they have 2 opening type Pokémon or they have a Phazer I would probably end up regretting it. I would definitely keep those 3 Pokémon though (Electrode, Gligar, and Gorebyss) because they really work well together.

Pinsir is a really good idea for a Sweeper but I really like the Elemental Punches. Do you have a good idea for a Sweeper that knows them? If not I will probably use the Pinsir set (Pinsir is one of my favorite Pokémon.(: )

Well, yes SR would be good in your team but there is no slot for it. The only possibility I see would be Screen Uxie over Electrode as your lead but you said you don't want to drop Electrode and It does its job better than Uxie in your team I guess. SR on Gligar is not an option, you absolutely need Taunt. So I guess just drop that SR idea.
To your recipient: Elemental Punches are not absolutely necessary. Pinsir's moves actually have a way better coverage in UU. Stone-Ground is just as good as ice-electric. So I really think you should try that Pinsir. I case you absolutely want to have elemental punches, Medicham is an option. If you pass defense and spdefense boosts to it, it will also be bulky enough to take priority attacks quite well.
Medicham@Lum Berry
Jolly-252Spe, 252Atk, 4 HP
Pure Power
-Brick Break
-Psycho Cut
-Ice Punch
-Thunder Punch
Now that I think about it Medicham really sounds appealing. Pinsir is the better choice for instant baton passing, so if you don't pass defense boosts to your final sweeper. Maybe you should test both, I think both will work.

Hope I could help again. Good Luck !

Hm on the Pinsir set why is there Return instead of idk a Fighting move or something? Are NU teams not Steel-oriented as much as OU? Some of my friends are recommending Superpower.

Well, as you already run Earthquake, a fighting move is not really necessary to kill rock and steel types. Indeed there is no Rock/Steel type you can't ohko with EQ at +4. However Close Combat is an option in the last slot, not Superpower as the attach drop will ruin your sweep. Return is mainly a filler so feel free to use what you want in that slot. As you don't need a certain attack type in the 4th slot, Swords Dance is maybe the best option. You then have the chance to sweep even if your baton pass chain should fail and you can outpredict intimidate users. I've already used Pinsir as my BP recipient, It really is the best choice in UU besides Medicham.

Exploud @ Lum Berry
Ability: Soundproof
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Punch
- Thunder Punch

Is sounding pretty appealing. I'm actually considering using 2 recipients instead of just 1, being your Pinsir (I like it more and more tbh) and probably Exploud because his Soundproof takes the place of Mimey's.

I wouldn't use two recipients. Your team tries to build a chain so you will only need one recipient as it will be passed defense too. Also it is really important to have a soundproof IN your chain, not at the end of your chain. If you see a roar coming and you haven't passed enough boosts for a sweep yet, you can't just pass to Exploud, because it can't continue the chain.

This will help you:

Zangoose @ Life Orb
252 Speed, 252 Attack, 4 Hp
Jolly (+ Speed, - Special Attack)
Immunity

Ice Punch
Fire Punch
ThunderPunch
Close Combat

With the speed boosts recieved, and stealth rocks set up, this bloke should be able to run through your opponents team. The coverage is huge, with the elemental punches and close combat. You should look into one of these IMO.
