Reporter will tell you, when you right click, then select encounter slots, it will say old/good/super rod, landed a pokemon or not even a nibble, that tells you if you will catch a pokemon on that frame or not, if it doesn't catch anything it still advances your frame as if it did

I thought so. They're just poke ball's sitting on a table so they all might be on a starting frame of 1. I'm gonna test that tommorow.

Nah trust me dude. They're not ALL F1. If that was the case, they'd ALL be shiny at the same time. Not happenin. They have their own frames. ;)

What you would have to do is....
1) Pick one up and get it's IVs, then put that info into RNG reporter to find what seed you hit
2) put that seed into RNG reporter and generate with method 1
3) find what frame it's on
4) Repeat for the other 2 to find what frames they're on (unless you know which one you want)
5) find some target seed you want and adjust from there
6) presto

F21602F6, Frame 8, impish 31/31/31/1/31/31
I'm assuming groudon is method k and frame 1, i have two runners out entei and latios. I have 5 pokes in my party so if i walk 128 steps am i good?
EDIT: also the delay is 660, will i hit 13 secs or 14?

I'm SURE I'm counting right. And they all have CAUGHT MAGIKARP or DEFEATED STARLY messages .-.

RNG hates me. It's now a fact.

after i do everything above and catch the groudon, will i still be able to find the seed by sweet scenting and using the rng reporter seed finder or does doing everything above mess it up?

Lol who knows if it'll be 14 or 13 seconds. It depends on how long it takes you to get from SR/"START" to "continue" xD

Nah, if you sweet scent BEFORE the Groudon it will throw you off by anywhere from 20ish to 120ish. And you won't need to do it afterward cuz you can just put Groudon's info in and find what seed you hit.
 
I'm confused. When capturing a perfect pokemon, when i convert the seed to time for method J, do i follow the target times at the top or the bottom?
 
would there be any differences if i RNG in a Japanese Soulsilver over the english soul silver(too much freezing on my rom) frame,Delay wise?

sweetscenting and battling the pokemon will certainly advance the frames. By how much depends between seeds it can be as small as 20 frames or more than 120

Assuming it depends on the Poke'mon and how long you're in battle with it maybe? Looks like I'm resorting to 1,667 steps to get the target 67 Frame. Just the delay is gonna drive me crazy...

Whoops. Target delay is 486.
 
So, I'm experienced enough with RNG'ing to know that I've checked EVERYTHING, but I've been on a break and forgot my average time/delay for my Diamond cart. I'm trying to calibrate, but RNG Reporter has not been able to find my seed AT ALL. The date is right, the time is right, I guess maybe my check IV code could be lying to me, but I doubt it because I know it has worked in the past. What could be going wrong here? Here's the info

Date: 3/20/2010
Time 14:55
Pokemon Captured: Ponyta lvl 18; Mild
Ivs: 7/12/18/29/25/29

RNG Reporter cannot find my seed with this information entered in.
