I mean yeah I get the atk points for low confusion damage but I rather think that a mixed sweeper could also use atk points?

Sorry if I'm talking nonsense I'm not that advanced in this and also the strategy pokedex is offline now and I'm totally lost.xD

And the frames are way more reasonable if you ask me^^

Anybody know how to cut that thing down really low in SS? Or hit it easy? For a new guy?

Edit: Romsstar, I'm going for Method K.
If you can list the info a bit clearer, I'd happy to look.

You got a synchronizer there so Method K is completely fine.
And yeah the info is just fresh from PokeRNG, it can be sorta confusing, would be damn nice if Wichu could write a GUI for it but this is already asked too much, he already did so much for this community.

Anyways:

Timid
31/31/31/31/31/31
Seed: D2140289
Method K Frames: 71 with syncher, 87 without syncher.

Timid
31/31/31/30/31/31
Seed: 48080A94
Method K Frames: 4 with syncher

Hello, I'm having a problem using the new version PokeRNG. I am trying to get a Sassy Bronzong with 31/31/31/0/31/0 Ivs. I followed my friends advice and specified all the information I wanted, but when I go to look in the Spreads file it says 0 results. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong?

Alright everyone, I've got a few questions.

1) What exactly are starting frames, how do I use them when RNG'ing, and how can I find out a specific Pokemon's starting frame? Is there a list?

2) Can someone explain Encounter Slots to me?

Thanks in advance if you can help out!!

Another question, I doubt anyone knows, but I'll ask anyway.

Can you have five Poke'mon in your party when RNGing the Sinnoh Dragons at Sinjoh Ruins? When the steps are done, depositing the spare Poke'mon to get Arceus to give you the cutscene and chosen Sinnoh dragon.

Will that work?

Still need an answer or else no one knows.

whats the best way to advance the frames in the bell tower before fighting ho-oh, i've hit my delay for the third time and still screwed up the frames. i have 2 runners, ho-oh i'm assuming is frame 1, i sit infront of the ladder on the floor below ho-oh's so i can tune the radio, when i advanced the frame by 40 i was ending up with 45 after going up the ladder so i only tunned to 39 and i still ended up with 45. Is going up ladders random or is something else up?

EDIT: i'm after frame 44

Did you turn in any way? As this happened to me at the beginning when I RNGed Ho-Oh and I wondered about that too.
Also: Which station you tuned? And: Were there commercials?
As Commercials do advance the frame as well.
For example let's take:
"That Town, These People" which advances +3 frames
"Commercials" do advance the frame +1
Bouncing back to "That Town" will advance the frame again +3.
Which would make a total advancement of unintended +4.
Which would fit then?

So important advice then: Tap the stations as fast as possible and don't forget to detune it after advancement.

I've got a few questions about the HGSS RNG abuse

1) What are the Monster frames for Latios/Latias, Suicune, and The Kanto Bird?

2) What method do I use for the pokemon mentioned above?

3) Do NPC steps still add +1 frames? Does this also apply to NPC Pokemon steps?

whats detuning? all i do is switch to the next station, for ex i go trainer profiles"lower left button" then click on silver drama"lower right button" and repeat.

1) phew if I recall correctly Latios and latias were Monster Frame 3, Suicune 1 and as the Kanto Birds are stationary as well also 1.

2) Latios/Latias is a roamer which makes it Method 1. Suicune and the Kanto birds are stationary legendaries which makes them Method K

3) Alas we don't have reliable information on that. As far as I know NPCs do advance the frame but if it was +1 I can't tell alas.
NPC Pokemon steps means 128 steps with party pokemon ? If so then: yes

Yeah but after you advanced your frame you have to move the circe to the middle so you aren't on any station anymore.
Which means: detuning.

@3: No I meant random NPC pokemon that aren't yours that simply wander around. (Like the Bayleef in the Pokemon Fan Club)

the bayleef itself doesn;t do anything as it it moves in a constant pattern and NPC movements do advance frame most likely by 1 as I have failed at RNGing latias for days now and haven't missed my frame by more than 5

those are scripted steps so they wont advance the rng.

@romstar: i have to move it to the center everytime? its just i caught my groudon without having to do that but i was clicking on a station that advanced the rng by 0.

You aren't going for the Flawless Timid HP Fire spread by any chance?
( The one with 30 in ATK as I recall)
I tried to hit this one several times and no matter what the game didn't let me.
it just skipped this frame.

Nah you don't really have to but as Commercials can occur this would be just safier for not screwing up your frames.
And yeah the stations which advance the rng by 0 don't seem to send commercials but the ones with +3 and +1 do so it would be just safer to detune it after advancing to your desired frame.

Not completely flawless, I just want one Timid with 30 Sp.Atk and 30 Speed and HP Fire, the other stats don't matter that much to me.

k i'll try detuneing it, maybe i was just getting commercials since i wasn't really paying attention to what was on the screen.

EDIT: also do you know how much the rng advances when you go up the ladder?

no I'm using my shiny HP ground spread last time missed by :/

can anyone tell me how to advance the frame by one in oak's house in eterna city before rnging for the legendary birds?

I did this calc (I have to reach a frame of 114)
monster frame 1 (Moltres, I'm rnging for it)
so the remaining 113 frames:2 = 56.5
56 x 2 = 112+ 1 (monster frame) = 113
how should I advance it to 114?

Have one Pokemon in your party and walk 128 steps

Phew this been a long time since this and I'm waiting for the european version to actually to RNG all my nice stuff (damn this is such a pain, two days left:( )

Anyways as I recall going up the ladder didn't advance the frame at all, or it did by +2.
It has to be one of those.
My bet would be not at all but I'm not sure yet.xD

EDIT: ok, i just did a test catch and going up the ladder without tuning i still ended up on frame 3 so i guess it doesn't.
