Ha! You didnt expect that! Did you? (OU Team)

This is my second OU Team post, and after many, many test teams I came up with this team, a mix of offensive pokemon with some bulk behind it, along with a lot of surprise factor to give me the upper edge.

(With the current edits that have been suggested, this team is starting to look like a "Offensive stall team")
*BOLD is a EDIT*

Roserade @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
Evs: 4 HP/ 252 Spd/ 252 SAtk
Timid nature
-Sleep Powder
-Toxic Spikes
-Leaf Storm
-HP [Fire]

My new lead replacing Machamp, a much faster lead, Sleep Powder will make short work of slower leads, while Toxic spikes will make Stalling for Hearten alot more easier.
I choose HP fire to deal with any steel walls that could wall this set.

Speedy (Heatran) (M) @Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 244 HP/220 Spd/32 SAtk/ 12Sdef
Calm nature
-Substitute
-Torment
-Protect
-Lava Plume

Many people expect a scarf Heatran these days, this one however is a pure annoyance, and once it forces a switch, can sub up and Torment whatever my opponent switches in, giving Tyranitar are free switch in to set up.
He also makes a great scout for the sets of Pokemon, making prediction a lot easier.

479Rotom-Heat.png

Rotom- H@ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 242HP/ 188Spd/ 72Def
Timid Nature
-Substitute
-ThunderBolt
-Will O Wisp
-PainSplit

With Toxic spikes and Stealth rock on my opponents feild, i needed something to block any attempts at a rapid spin, so i decided to replace my celebi with a Rotom form, i great support pokemon with great speed under its belt.
As suggested, I decided to change Rotom-H a more stally set, Will O Wisp works well against any steels or levitating pokemon that come in and think there safe from toxic spikes, and the combo of painsplit and substitute will stall out a lot of pokemon that get poised by toxic spikes.
(I still have to test this Rotom set out more, but is working good so far).

tyranitar3.png

Leftovers (Tyranitar) (M) @ChoiceScarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4HP/ 252Atk/ 252Spd
Jolly nature
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
-Super Power
-Pursuit

It was pointed out that my team did in fact have a rather large Gengar and Latais weaknes, so my DD tar has been replaced with a Scarf tar, and I have found he is a rather effective revenge killer and a good check for threats such as Gengar, Latias.
I choose Super Power over Earthquake to tear through Blissy, Snorlax and other Tyranitars that are not scarfed, while pursuit traps any gengar that doesn't see him coming.

380.png

GoldyLocks (Latias) (F)@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature
-Draco Meteor
-Thunderbolt
-Trick
-Surf

My revenge Killer, I was originally going to go for the Starmie scarf set, but found latias to have a lot more bulk and power, plus she pairs well with my next Pokemon.
She does wonders against putting Gyradose in check with ThunderBolt, and if Salamence thinks he can DD in my face, not while I have Latais he wont.
Once any threats have been taken care of, i can simply trick my scarf onto a wall such as blissy or Bronzong.

* Im wondering if someone could suggest another Set or replacement for Latais, since I don't really need 2 scarfed pokemon, and Tyranitar does Latais's job rather well.*

--------------

Bronzong.png

CaptainOuch (Bronzong)@ Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 252 HP/ 126 Def/ 128 SDef
Sassy nature
-Trick
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock

A rather different Bronzong than most people expect, with Macho Brace, Gyro Ball has alot of power behind it, 2H OKing even Infernape with stealth rock in play, and once Iv no longer need it, I can trick it to a wall or fast sweeper, making them useless for the whole match (Even if they have a god dam aroma Blissy)
Stealth rock is there for obvious reasons, and I choose Earthquake over Explosion so that Magnezone cant safely trap him.

Pokemon this team struggles against:

Machamp- most of my team are ether weak to fighting or dark, and with the 100% confusion it dosnt make switching in any easier, Rotom can come in on dynamic punch and set up reflect, but payback still hurts alot. I normally find I have to scarifies a weaker team member and revenge kill Machamp.

Lucario- Another fighting pokemon that causes me trouble, rotom once again is my only counter to the standard SD set, unless its Adamant which means Tyranitar can out speed it.

Hey this is a nice team, here's my two cents.
You use a torment Tran in this team, but your other pokemon do nothing to help him.
You have no toxic spikes to stall, and no spikes to cause damage to the switch ins.

I recommend taking out Celebi and changing Machamp to the Sub-3 Attack variant, and adding Roserade as a lead. This gives you toxic spikes support which can be very helpful to TormentTran.

Earthquake > Superpower on T-tar, or maybe even taunt to deal with slower pokes trying to phaze you.
However, because you now have toxic spikes support, I recommend an Agility-Sub Empoleon over T-tar. Toxic spikes give it the ability to stall out Blissey with your subs.

I hope I helped!

Hello Dr.Morph.

First of all, I believe the Timid nature on Heatran is a typo? If not I suggest changing it to a Calm nature as the EVs are tailored for it.

I believe a well played Latias can be quite a menace to your team. She is able to take on Roserade after something is sleeping, 2HKO Heatran with Surf, 2HKO Rotom with Draco Meteor or Dragon Pulse (most likely OHKOing with Draco Meteor after Stealth Rock), 2HKO Tyranitar, and OHKO Latias. Bronzong and Latias seem to be only checks and are not so decent due to the fact she can just switch out and later come back to deal heavy damage. Gengar can also be quite a troublesome threat as it can potentially OHKO your entire team barring Bronzong. To fix this I suggest using a Choice Scarf Tyranitar.

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf | Sand Stream
Jolly | 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Crunch / Stone Edge / Earthquake / Pursuit

The reason behind this suggestion is that it outspeeds Latias and Gengar and OHKOs with Crunch. Pursuit also OHKOs but Latias can survive if it stays in so it suggested to have some damage if you are planning on using the attack. Tyranitar also acts as a check to Lucario as it can OHKO your entire team if it sets up after Latias uses Draco Meteor. However with this suggestion Lucario can still be troublesome if it sets up on this thing so be cautious. However my next suggestion can help quite a bit with that weakness.

Rotom-h @ Leftovers | Levitate
Timid | 248 HP / 72 Def / 188 Spe
Thunderbolt / Will-O-Wisp / Substitute / Pain Split

The idea is to hide behind a Substitute and stall out the opponent with the use of Toxic Spikes and Pain Split. Since Substitute lowers health you'll be getting more out of Pain Split at times although Toxic Spikes can be quite contradictory at times. The EVs were tailored to outspeed Adamant Lucario as with your spread you hit 283 Speed where I don't find anything worth outspeeding.

Hope I helped!

Thanks for the advice, Iv changed my team up and the new rotom and Tyranitar are working out well so far

Just a small suggestion, but you can give your Bronzong an Iron Ball and Heatproof. This way, you can potentially trick your Iron Ball on something susceptible like Zapdos and wreck it with EQ.

Good idea, but then Ill have a large ground weakness, plus with heatproof, Bronzong and Heatran wont have there great synergy anymore
