VGC10 RMT

This is the only team idea I've had that involves 5 guys, i know i can only use 4 but i like the revamp from my other team alot better..

Abomasnow @ iron ball
4HP/252sp.atk/252hp
timid
-blizzard
-protect
-grass knot
-ice shard

EVs to be sloweset weather and have a better HP stat, gave iron ball to ensure weather set up, HP should cover for no focus sash being gone say for flamthrower and stuff but i doubt it. Grass knot of course for the Kyogre 2HKO and shard for finishing what blizzard didnt.

Mewtwo @ lum
252spA/252spe/4hp
Timid
-blizzard
-flamethrower
-taunt
-selfdestruct

blizzard of course for the combo, protect is really more for a Giritina set up type thing, but it has its uses other than that. Taunt lets me render smeargles and follow me guys useless especially being able to take a sleep from smeargle (and jumpluff here and there) and taunting it ftw. selfdestruct i can pretty much use with anyone on the team as they all have protect if they arent Giratina. Mewtwo has mediocre defences but i choose not to really utilize them in this case. replaced protect with flamethrower as i can only see very few instances where i would need protect as to flamethrower is a shedinja couner and lets me cover a wider variets of types since ive invested alot into mew2's SpAtk.

Giratina @ Choice scarf
252atk/252spe
Adamant
-Shadow force
-dragon claw
-shadow claw/ shadow sneak
-stone edge

previously made as a regular bulky type giratina but ive seen some pretty tough scarfTinas out there and they make for a great late game sweeper. Previously my team didnt really have much of a late game sweep but this covers that slot pretty nicely. Moves utilized to cover the broadest amount of threats likely to be seen. Still debating shadow sneak over shadow claw. both work but i dont know which ill need more.

Metagross @ occa berry
112HP/252atk/12spD/132spe
Adamant
-explosion
-Bullet punch
-hammer arm
-protect

Explosion, once again, works really well with anyone on my team. Bullet punch to pick off weakened guys. Protect to scout for fire moves or gound or whatever and act accordingly or to let someone else explode successfully. EQ removed and filled in with Hammer arm, havent done calcs but im pretty posotive that hammer arm will do more to Dialga than EQ will.

Dialga @ lum
252spA/252spe/4hp
-Dragon pulse
-Blizzard
-Protect
-Flamethrower

I actually decided to make Dialga an alternative on my original team, every now and then i can substitute him in for Mewtwo and still have the dual blizzard, not at the same speed but the regular bulkyness of Dialga makes up for that (hopefully). If i do choose to sub him in for Mew2 i can bluff a TR and attack while they try to adjust to the TR wheather it be switching in slower guys or just taunt.

Your Mewtwo might need some different attacks... if you fail to set up Hail right off the bat, then you might be in trouble for Blizzard accuracy hax etc. You could give Aboma an iron ball to 'guarantee' weather, but then he loses the sash and probably will be too frail to hit much of anything outside priority ice shard.

Another thing I see is that Gira is your only Shedinja counter, outside of hail residue. Like I already mentioned, you might not even be guaranteed the weather if you're up against something slower than you. Your opponent might even have a weather changer somewhere in the back of their team to mess that up for you. Gira's shadow force is very predictable as well, and your opponent could simply swap Sheddy out for something else. Even if they don't swap out, you have to at least hit it twice since it will definitely be holding a focus sash. You could add flamethrower to Mewtwo for Sheddy instead of taunt or protect.

And that's where I'll stop. Hopefully this helps you out some. ^_^

Change Abomasnow's evs to 252 HP /252 SpAtk /6 Atk. Since your only physical attack is Ice Shard, you're going to want to invest more evs into special attack. Also you don't want speed evs to help ensure your hail setup. Plus Grass Knot will now do huge damage to Kyogre now. Like the person above said, you only have Giratina to take care of Shedinja. I'd recommend putting flamethrower on Mewtwo in place of Self Destruct. Or at least put Shadow Sneak over Aura Sphere on Giratina, to ensure the KO of Shedinja.

yeah i meant spatk instead of atk. my bad. But i was actually looking at replacing the aura sphere with shadow sneak anyway and thanks for the flamethrower idea, i factored that into my threat list and it made some pretty good changes.

-uses IV mod most of the time, i train some pokemon without them but rarely, no time nowadays

Just a heads up, If you intend to use this team in the actual VGC, you will probably get banned if you use IV mod

If you're giving Abomasnow the Iron Ball, why not just make it Not-Timid and run a Mixed set or something?

And Abomasnow also learns Fling. It will put a serious dent in a Mewtwo (though it still won't KO, as far as I know. It hadn't when I tested teams a while back.)

A few pointers:

Beware your opponents ability to switch in to afflict your weather of choice.

Perhaps spare a Focus Sash on an additional weather affect? Mind you that Iron Ball idea is an exceeding good one. But for the love of god put it on a Groudon that can throw it. Note that Blizzard can miss when Kyogre switches in, save you predict it and Grass Knot, you'll be at a disadvantage, then eat a Fake Out from a Ludicolo, due to being forced to switch back in with your Abomasnow or it already being fainted, either/or trouble'll be at hand.

Since the foe is using Ubers, please consider a ScarfChomp with EQ and Outrage or a Physical Attacking Rayquaza. Just watch out for Protects if you gambit on the latter.

Might I add the only Pokemon that can take a full on Outrage here is that Metagross which is going to use Explosion.

Scarfing something and/or using Rayquaza is probably not a good suggestion. You don't want to get stuck using Earthquake on Giratina-O. Rayquaza is basically dead to everything, because Ice Beam/Shard will be everywhere. Using either of these pokemon is actually pretty risky, but if you think you can pull it off, then go for it.

Outrage also targets a random opponent.

hey Feathers, or i guess just anyone in general, should i try and fit another set up theme in here somewhere besides hail? because looking at my giratina and metagross i feel like theres alot of potential im missing out on there that i just dont see
