flash games - mark 2

Speaking of relatively acclaimed Flash games, I still need to play with Gemcraft Ch. 0 and Protector III. Who knows when I get around to doing that, probably about the same time I actually play my copy of Metroid Prime 3. *ahem* Nice to see activity in here again, though, even if it's just because of a moron post.

Flood Runner 2. Like those other two running games. Click to jump, click again (or hold it) to double jump, click again (or keep holding it) to use your glide power (which recharges over time). Yellow gems increase your score multiplier, purple and rainbow gems give you mega bonus points.


My high score is 1,319,758 but I have a laptop and most flash games run slower on it so it might be an unfair advantage.
 
oh man calciphoce good find im totally addicted. ive got BRILLIANT on levels 1-5 then GOOD from 6-13. havent been able to beat 14 yet but im still tryin!!

Got Brilliant on the entire game FINALLY, took me like two hours to get brilliant on 7/14/15 though lol

How the fuck did you get brilliant on 14 or 15? that fucking ninja boss at lvl 50 always books it and grabs the fucking gem, causing me to get excellent. Even If I spam 5 meteors I still can't kill him.
 
the only way i can see is to nail him with a chilling tower and hope for a freeze, then bomb him with meteors. protip with meteor: as soon as you have cast one, press escape to pause the game so you can move the mouse back to the spell button. they really should have implemented hotkeys for this shit o_o

You can hold shift to cast multiple meteors(or towers or cut)
anyways I guess I need to grind, to afford the final powers, I did it in sequence so I don't have freeze or poison or blaze
ugh not looking forward to grinding, need to get five levels to finnish the skills.
 
Oh my fucking god that's awsome. Me and my friend played a two player game and holy shit it was amazing. I remember I played the original pac-man when I was like 6 and I couldn't get past level 1 it was so fustrating.

I had a lv7 Chilling Crypt at the beginning to hit him for max damage, then spammed meteors with both of the meteor upgrades at max (i.e. they were doing 400 or 500 damage each idr which, and only cost 100, also I had max mana upgrades)

and btw I found a big key to be placing all of the towers you want FIRST, and not upgrading any until lv 30. If a boss comes along you can't kill, just meteor spam it. This way you get every tower placed and because they're all doing more work you get them all upgradable sooner.
 
Fucking Ninja boss on Lv14 of Cursed Treasure... Having to rely on a random 25% freeze after playing through the entirety of the stage just to obtain "Brilliant" makes me :pirate:. Played on Kongregate and I only rated it four stars for that sole reason.

I'm sure RDTSBWTR was posted a long while ago in this thread but motivation to replay it. *thumbs up*

No you don't. I've had a Brilliant on every level and I haven't bought Freeze skills at all. Just max out the skills that increase meteor damage, decrease meteor MP cost, and increase maximum Mana. If you have full mana when you reach the boss, you'll be able to shoot 5 400-damage meteors for a total of 2000 damage, which is enough to kill any of the giant ninja bosses. Make sure to... was it the Shift button that lets you use multiple meteors in a row? Think it was.

It can take a while if you don't already have those skills (if you're close to level 30 and don't have a whole lot of skill points in them, you might want to consider just starting over), but it works flawlessly. Unless you miss, I guess.
 
I just have a hard time hitting him dead on five times in a row, there seems to be a bit of lag when you hold shift to fire the meteors consecutively.
