Question! What factors power up Struggle? This includes items, abilities, stat boosts, so on and so forth
Ok, My first IV check with a calculator. I entered the name of the Pokemon, then entered the nature.
Entered the stats were it asked me. (I got the stats from looking at the summary of the Pokemon)

Atk -6
Def -6
SpA -5
SpD -4
Speed -6
Hit calculate after
I punched all this in. And it gave me:
Bagon - #371 (Rash)
HP: 10 - 31
Att: 0 - 31
Def: 0 - 31
SpA: 0 - 19
SpD: 0 - 31
Speed: 0 - 31

Is this accurate? and were the 19 is do I just put and 'X'?

What's a good EV spread for Adamant ExtremeSpeed Dragonite? The analysis uses 252 Atk / 252 Spe, but I'm seeing more bulky spreads in the RMTs.
Thanks, I didn't think of that. And I think that Struggle just acts like a normal move that is affected by stat boosts normally. It's physical based, with 50 BP, able to flinch with a King's Rock, and counts as physical contact (for Static, Flame Body, etc.) Source: Struggle on Serebii
You need to level that pokemon up a lot. With it's low level, the calculator cannot accurately predict the IVs. Basically, an IV gives you one extra stat point at lvl. 100. So if my pokemon has 31 IVs (the max) in say HP, then at lvl. 100 it will have 31 more HP than your pokemon with 0 IVs.
So I have to raise it from level 1 to level 100, just to get a more accurate IV count?
That's why people do the IV battle to get around the leveling up proses?
Some IV calculators such as Metalkid's suggest using level 10 by means of Rare Candy to test for IVs
So raise your Pokemon to level 10 and punch the numbers into the calculator and it will give you an accurate reading?
Whats the MOST accurate way of checking the IVs of a Pokemon?
If you raise your Pokemon by fighting wild ones, make sure you keep track of the EVs otherwise you'll get incorrect stats.

Just to clarify. A Pokemon starts out with 0 EVs, if i breed it and its at lvl 1. And for each wild Pokemon I battle I just tally however many EVs that specific wild Pokemon gives?

Does the Smogon Tutor Program offer RBY/GSC/ADV OU?
I'm attempting to make a mono-water team but I have trouble with Breloom. I tried Gyarados but it cannot beat Breloom without Ice Fang and even then it is not reliable because Breloom can just Substitute. Breloom also has Leech Seed, Seed Bomb and can Focus Punch which still does a hefty amount. Gyarados also has trouble constantly switching into Breloom due to SR while Breloom has just switch out.

Can you IV battle yourself if you have two DS' without going over wifi? Or does it have to be through wifi?
I'm pretty sure you need a wifi battle to get ur pokes to 100
SporePunching Breloom almost always OHKOs both Kingdra sets with Focus Punch while SubSeed Breloom brings you down to about 1/4 HP. The problem with Breloom is that if it is behind a Substitute, I can't do anything to it while it cause havok.
Master Ball also recommended having your Kingdra carry a Lum Berry. That should punch a huge hole through SporePunch Breloom's strategy, if you'll pardon the pun. Moreover, both sets he recommends also roll Substitute, further guarding Kingdra from whatever nefarious deeds that fungus wants to pull.

I don't think so but it's almost the same thing!
No the problem is, I have to switch to Kingdra as Breloom uses Substitute. Now Breloom is going to spam Focus Punch because smart Breloom players will know that the Kingdra will use Substitute. If I Sub, I lose 25% of my HP but my Sub gets broken at the end of the turn by Focus Punch anyway. If I attack, I may break Breloom's Sub but will most likely die from Focus Punch. Either way I lose to Breloom with Kingdra.
How do you do it?
Go to the top floor of the Pokemon Center and use one of the rooms there!
