This is actually going back to the earlier topic about the 3rd legend, but wouldn't Dragon/Ice work if the Dragon was gray? Black's in Pokemon White; White's in Pokemon Black, so it seems obvious that the third game will be gray, so why shouldn't the Dragon be gray?

Although Pokémon Grey is a very likely third game in the 5th generation, I wonder if it might instead be Pokémon Clear? That would make a Dragon/Ice type even more likely, for what it's worth.

I dont think that'll happen if you check the pattern.

R/B/Y=Colors
G/S/C=Jewels
R/S/E=Jewels
D/P/Pt=Jewels(again...)
B/W/??=Colors

There is no reason for the third to be something like clear and break the pattern since if it never happened before there is no reason for it to do so <_<.

I like the idea of Ice from a flavor vantage because of the traditional tri-group of electric-fire-ice (started by our birds) but Dragon/Ice seems just so . . . lame . . . compared to Dragon/Fire or Dragon/Electric. Well on another note, one could say that Dragon/Steel or Dragon/Water have a much more intimidating first impression than Dragon/Ghost.

edit: Gold/Silver are metals, not gems-- and one could say that gold and silver are also types of colors.

grass is not a bad type if you think for a sec, sure its weak against multiple types but remember it resist multiple types too, on that list you can include ground and water; 2 types used often, flying is not bad either, is immune to ground and resist fighting(though its weak VS ice, eletric and rock), poison always sucked but whatever.

psychic was overpowered in gen 1, gamefreak decided to fix that and made the type shitty, i doubt they will change psychic again.

Its sad but true, they realy downplay psychic now,its almost always used as a secondary type, and when its not the pokemon itself is usualy weak.

electric ice and rock are pretty common attack types (and stealth rock)

well there should be a happy medium, and anyways, ghost and bug types have gotten a huge buff over the last 3 generations, thats part of the reason they were overpowered because the only thing that hurt them was jolteons pin missile, leech life and lick were both way weak and nightshade did fixed damage. now theres uturn gettting spammed all over the place, and shadow ball and a bunch of other stuff.

Hah. Gamefreak did gave many good grass moves on this gen compared to R/S/E (it got the best upgrade out of all the types IMO).

From Energy Ball/Seed Bomb to a buffed Leaf Blade, 2 120 BP physical attacks (Wood Hammer and Power Whip), Leaf Storm, Giga Drain buff on PP (well, it's something), and the second best exclusive move on Seed Flare (damn you Sacred Fire).
Lack of attacking options isn't a excuse for grass pokes IMO.

i think mainly its stat distribution and defense, because there wither slow and mediocre in defenses or fast and frail.

occasionally gamefreaks gets it spot on though, just ladder for 20 mins in uu, and look at how destructive sceptile, venusaur, and torterra are, granted they are all starters, but leafeon is beast if he gets a swords dance under his belt, and jumpluff is infuriating.

they did get a massive buff in gen 4

They could always do Pokemon Michael Jackson.

old and unfunny joke is old and unfunny

also his anniversary was yesterday you know so its a little fucked up, im not a big fan of mj, but he does have a family, and he was a person

Some more grass types are definately needed in any case, and some more dark types. Im hoping that the diversity of terrian in Ishuu will give way to a multitude of grass/ice/steel/and dark Pokemon

im really sick of steel type pokemon, i think that poison should hit SE on them (corroding acid?)
Heh, I've always held onto this explaination too for Poison to be buffed a bit... because Poison has had NO love whatsoever from Game Freak. And ever since the originals, I always thought Poison should be SE against Bug, too... ever heard of pesticide?

That'd be funny if both of these changes were implemented... Scizors the world over would plan an assassination attempt against me.
