For Poison, there just isn't a really a Pokemon with a good stat spread who is Poison. No Poison type Pokemon has a base attack of over 105 which is underwhelming entirely.

The best Poison types, Tentacruel, Roserade, Gengar have special niches not relate to stat spread.

Tentacruel has Rapid Spin and is part Water which always helps.

Roserade has Toxic Spikes and Sleep Powder plus a fairly good spread but not amazing.

Gengar is part Ghost, has Levitate and has a great stat spread but not to take advantage of what Poison brings, he'd be just as good without Poison typing.

Even Crobat, the highest BST, has a problems brought on by being Flying and underwhelming offensively and defensively despite being very robust and fast. He's arguably the best representation of a Poison type.

If there was a BST 600 Poison type, with solid secondary typing AND a good movepool, no one would complain at all.

So the Evil team doesnt look like its going to be Rocket and my guess for that Gym Leader is Phychic/Water/Flying,but the backround looks alot like Ghost.

Taken by Louispierce on Serebiiforums. It looks too much as a bedroom (well fuck me, it IS a bedroom), so he/she most certainly is this gen's rival.

And what is that green thing?

and crobats can come in on a rediculous amaount of things and hypnoplot or just support.

Crobat cannot learn Hypnosis AND Nasty Plot.

The picture on the left looks like the rival, and some freakish thing, and Im preety sure that on the right is the Electric gym in that Ferris wheel town in the center of the map. The Gym leader lady is standing on a platform of the same shape of the Skyscraper gym symbol in the Bug gym. So a Bug and a STeel/Electric gym have been confirmed.

well lucalibur if you are getting swept by all these poison types why dont you pack a dugtrio, or an alakazam, both are great pokemon

sigh, you dont get things fast do you?

i gave you some examples of poison types that are pretty good for a reason or another, weezing got levitate, that with his mono poison typing make him the best physical wall in UU, he also got amazing movepool.

thanks to his poison and dark typing drapion is one of the best psychic type pokemons counters in UU, same for skuntank in NU.

when did i said poison types were a problem for me? never, i said they were annoying(the first quote of the post was for making fun of you).

poison is not a bad type, ground weakness is the ONLY thing that stop poison from being one of the best defensive types out there, weezing is the perfect example of what a defensive poison type not weak to ground is capable of.

trying to use poison on the offensive is just like using CB registeel. the type was made to be defensive.

true, sarcasm over the internet just dont work these days.

on those pics if you notice the left one look like the main character room.

maybe the evil team....is atacking you inside your house? why didnt i though of that before?

it look like the guy with green hair is actually a super evil guy with powers or some random shit, that or he can glow in the dark.
Excellent, I'd always wanted an evil team that glows in the dark!

The problem with Poison isn't that there are no Poison Pokemon with good stat spreads... or that have 105+ Attack... that's a terrible argument. Even if there WAS a 600BST Poison type, there would still be complaining because Poison's problem is that it has no type coverage offensively, so any offensive Poison-type owes it's power to it's secondary typing (just like all the pokemon you mentioned).

You overlook that Poison can be a strong defensive type though, and Weezing, Muk, and even Crobat (don't underestimate the bat's defenses!) are excellent examples of Pokemon which make full use of Poison's resistances. They are all hindered by bad STAB, but can work effectively.

Agreeing with Naxte here, given the pokeball statues both inside and out, as well as the trainers inside the building. AFAIK, cities don't really contain too many pokemon battles unless they are located within a gym. And bug seems like a decent type choice - looks like this time the Fire starter gets an advantage at the first gym (gasp), while water is neutral and grass is weak. September 18th can't arive soon enough.

Nice find...hmm...my team so far (if I can get trades)

Certain:
B/W:

Mijumaru (it needs more love. )
Pokabu

Third Version:
Tsutarja
Torchic

Inevitable Hoenn Remake:
Treeko
Mudkip

Otherwise if I can't get trades, Mijumaru, then Pokabu, then Treeko.

Mijumaru has grown on me...I think his "sad face" is just an otter snout in Sugimori style.

It could be a entrance to the evil hideout, and you have to battle your rival or one of there members to get in,or it could be a random house and its a double battle. Mabye they will do the VS thing for every thing.

I understood your sarcasm... it's just that you'll never hear from those of us who understand it. Only those who don't and therefore think you're an idiot will post about it.

Anyway, it never occured to me that the evil team could be in the PC's room, what a silly idea.... But now that you mention it, that looks like EXACTLY what the screenshot shows, especially with the trashed room... good call.

Someone on Serebiiforums pointed out the footprints lead up to the green thingy.

So it either is a person with a strange costume, or a new pokémon. Ha.

if you think for a second its not that silly of a idea. what is the best place to ambush a 16 years old teenager? on his fucking room, he got nowhere to run!

trust me, if they can glow in the dark then they can open locked doors.

I was being sarcastic with the "silly idea" comment, it makes perfect sense, especially considering these guys' glow-in-the-dark-criminal skills.

It's someone cosplaying as Gardevoir, obviously.
