Yeah I don't get people that say "boo new gen pokes sux". A fucking ball of gas called "gastly" was one of the highlights of Gen I guys, lets keep this nostalgia shit in perspective please.

Personally I love a lot of the designs so far; the desert crocodile thing is still my favorite, and of course smugleaf just looks awesome (here's hoping the new move is a grass-typed close combat...!)
The only design I don't really like is the "dream pokemon" one, mostly because it looks like a pillow that you would find in a girl's bedroom, but the other ones are for the most part awesome. I especially love the design of the cover legends.
 
Triple battles confirmed. VGC metagame is now officially screwed.

The new designs are interesting. Not too keen on the style (the two opposing Pokémon in the double battle are reminiscent of Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters), though.
So now we have a sarcophagus Pokémon. Revenankh prevo confirmed? Type prediction: Rock/Ghost
The red/blue one needs to be an alternate Nosepass evo to make up for Probopass's 'joke' appearance. Do it, Gamefreak. Type prediction: Rock/Steel
The gold/black one looks like a pseudo-legendary. Type prediction: Dragon/Dark
I thought the baby mole was a bird at first :( Type prediction: Dark
The evolved mole looks a bit like Empoleon (at least the one I assume to be its evo; Pokébeach seems to have got the name order wrong). Not sure I like it. Type prediction: Dark/Steel
Green ghost looks like Castform crossed with Rotom. Type prediction: Ghost
Not too keen on the goth Pokémon; I'm not a fan of humanoid body shapes on my pocket monsters. Type prediction: Psychic/Dark
I do like the tarantula from what I've seen of it, though. We need an awesome spider Pokémon. Type prediction: Bug/Electric
 
Too all who think the gold and black one looks odd, it's uncles, Tyranitar and Armaldo say hi.

I quite like the new Pokémon on the whole, the only one that I don't like is the green 'thing', which looks like a messed up Gastly.

I can see the Red/Blue one being a new evolution of Nosepass, and really hope it gets the stats it looks like it could use. (Metagross lookalike much?)

The mole looks cool, can see it being a reasonably fast Dark type, with a bit better defenses than most of it's Dark typed friends.

The sarcophagus and spider I won't decide until I see the front sprites, just so I can see some more detail. And as for the goth, if that isn't a Medicham evolution, nothing every will be.

the slightly metagross-ish that doesnt have a name confirmed yet looks cool too, and ononokuso looks pretty cool too.
 
I don't know why everyone is so disappointed with just the announcement of 3v3. I think it'd be fun. The battles should go faster since you're sending out half your party against someone.

I like the Egyptian looking one the best out of the new pokemon.
 
Not sure how 3vs3 battles are gonna work out, but they'll definitely be something that's totally different and new to try.

The new Pokemon revealed, at first glanced they all looked weird, but later thought some looked neat.

The black/red rock thing, just seems like a Rock/Dark to me (maybe steel/dark ?_?), and it doesn't look like it's related to Probopass to any way.

I'm curious how the coffin ghost thing looks with its front sprite, though I can predict its looks, since it seems like a coffin with ghostly arms coming out..

The bug/lizard(??) thing look cool IMO, and it might be one of those pseudo-legends.

The mole thing could be part steel ?_?. Don't like its looks much.

Also, what's that blue/yellow legged thing supposed to be ?_? (the one teamed up with the mummy)
EDIT: just read its Serebii description, and looking at it now it does look like a tarantula
 
so after a long time the female main character started to grow inside me, i actually think she is pretty cute now(then again gamefreak always try to make them look sexy).

still waiting for my Wyvern pokemon though.....

we need bulbapedia to do an "On the Origins of:" on the regis
they're based off Golems, from jewish legends, which were clay men made by humans, animated by the word EMET (which i think means truth)
by removing the first letter, leaving MET, the golem would once again become incative, as MET means lie, i think
not sure how that relates to regigigas
 
I'm still trying to figure out why people think 3v3 is going to change metagame entirely. You can still do singles and most people will probably go that route instead of 3v3.

Because VGC currently uses Double Format because of the speed of the rounds, and hence people are expecting the new Triple Format to become the norm.

The mechanics of triples will be ridiculous, I really hope it wont be used for vgc battles. I think that moves which hit more than one pokemon will be further weakened and this 'Shooter' option increases their power at the cost of the number of pokemon they hit.
 
About that 3vs3 talk, I wonder how the mechanics are gonna be (no imagination for that) and I really hope the VGC remain 2vs2.
However, changes are not always as awful as they look at first (and for me this 3vs3 thing is looking terribly creepy). I one of those people who'd rather wait to see. Even if the VGC format changes, I guess I'll probably just adapt myself to the new metagame.

back to the topic of man-made pokemon...

regigigas himself IS a golem. which means something else made him.
then the golem made other golems...

but who would make something to tow continents?
 
I love the new Pokemon. As much as I don't want to look at the pre-release pics of new Pokemon in order to keep the surprise factor when I get the game, I can't help it.
I especially like the gothic lolita one and the mole.

I personaly hope the 3v3 thing can turn into 3v1, like you have to fight and defeat some horrifying, overpowered version of Reshiram/Zekrom, then you do singles to try to catch the normal Pokemon. Or something of that nature.
I'm really excited to see what changes 3v3 could bring. Trick Room teams would be more viable, and just sending out Kyogre with Kingdra and Ludicolo could wreck some teams. I wonder what two Pokemon using Follow me would do...

Has anyone figured out what the Pokemon next to Hihidharma is (in the scene where it's the zebra, HHihdharma, and unnamed Pokemon)?

yeah, this remind me.

digimon world dawn and dusk is 3V3 with 6 digimons at total, once a digimon die you switch another, you can also change mid-battle.

people used to say digimon copy pokemon, but now look at pokemon copying digimon battle style.
 
The (possible) pseudo legend looks like either Dragon/Drak or maybe Dragon/Fighting to me, but no matter what, i just hope it isnt rock-typed... I dont see many bug-like thns on it

The spider is clearly bug/electric

The mole is steel/ground or dark/ground

The coffin is ghost/ground or ghost/rock

and the other 3 suck, i think water/grass steel/fire and...something.
