If I remember right, Team Magma was more evil than Team Aqua. Archie actually helped you out sometimes, and I think convinced Max? (Team Magma leader) to help out in the end.. if not, then maybe they can make all three of you enemies, yet there's a superior team to Team Plasma which is kind of your friend. You know the saying- The enemy of my enemy is my friend

I either never seen any show with evil modern knights or they were really forgettable because that blasted Ben10 show is the only thing that come in mind when I see Team Plasma. The only other Knight related memories are King Artur, Ghouls'n Ghosts, and Dullahans though I believe Dullahans weren't knights exactly.
Anyway...after viewing the footage of the demo I just wondering how much of the game is within? I'm guessing only about the first couple of routes or so, though I hope we can get word of the starter's first evolution from them.
I'm pretty sure it depends on version, in Ruby Magma is more evil and in Sapphire it's Aqua. Then in Emerald they're roughly equal.
I could be wrong though I'm not particularly familar with 3rd gen.

I think he was talking about emerald (IMO the best game so far by a long way), where Aqua sort of turned good around half way through, and they realised first that it was all a dumb idea. Maybe plasma will be the one which realises late, and they will just do that sort of thing for both, like the way Team Rocket did not change in the original games.
Just like R_N, about 10-12, all the ones leaked in the pokedex (Pokejungle), like the Ice/Fighting type and stuff

Those are rumors that are probably not true. And since the whole point of them (according to the rumors) are to be after beating the game, they certainly won't reveal them.
I'm talking about the ones teased in trailers (Desukan, Denchura, Onononokusu, Doryuzu, Moguruzu, Gigaias, Mamanbo, Miruhoggu, Shik...the deer, the Swan) plus maybe Hatoopoo and maaaayyyybeeee the Broccoli dude.

@ Chateau- Did you also notice that Revenge didn't kill Tsutaja, even though it was 7 levels higher, and that considering Miji's rumored bulk, Grass Mixer 2OHKOed (Overgrow helped, but it wasn't fair in the first place)? I love it <3
Mijumaru used revenge in the demo the first turn. I couldn't tell you if it outsped it the second turn or not, because we don't know what move was picked.

Goodness, Cacturne, Foretress, Hippowdon, Pinsir, Qwilfish, and Weavile learn it. Are they fighting types? Nuhuh. I still want Miji to be part fighting though :naughty:

No more so than Poisonpowder pointed to Chikorita becoming part Poison, Dragon Rage to Charmander becoming part Dragon, Bite/Pursuit/Taunt point to Totodile/Treecko/Chimchar becoming part Dark, Peck to Torchic/Piplup becoming part Flying, Withdraw to Turtwig becoming part Water, etc. The vast majority of the starters tend to learn moves of other types than their own+Normal even before they evolve, so I wouldn't really jump to any conclusions here.
I would love a fire/dragon starter, but now we have Resh! It's amazing as well, prob my favorite legendary now!

Dragon Rage Charmander makes sense as it IS a Dragon, at least as its Egg Group. Same thing with Turtwig learning Withdraw, Totodile with Bite, or Torchic/Piplup with Peck, while a case could also be made for Chikorita (a Grass-type, after all) getting Poisonpowder, and Squirtle, a turtle, learning Bite.
Of course, it doesn't mean Mijumaru WILL evolve to a Water/Fighting; Qwilfish, Hippowdon, Regigigas and Forretress learn the move for zero flavor reason, and Treecko learns Pursuit also with not much reason. However, I would say this surely increases its chances. From the looks of it, Mijumaru will either become a badass Water/Fighting, or will be an exception.
