Nuzlocke Challenge

@zedrup
Woun't you get solo'd by Agatha with your current team?

Anyway my Emerald Challenge is back up and running. I last left you just before Forrtree gym and its where I pick up the story now.

The Foretree Gym was a piece of cake. Bold took out Half her team while Mercurey eventualy took down Altaria (got to +4 before I could beat it) and Tropius. anyway after some more trianing I rocked down to Lilycove City, beating trainers as I went. It was here when disarster struck. I was in a double battle when a trainer sent our a Koffing. I double targeted it but it just survived and Self Destructed straight off. I lost a valuable friend. What made it worse was it was my faithful Vibrava, Guardian which had perished. It was at level 36 and I had hoped that he would be a powerhouse of my team. What was also worring was that he had been part of my plan to take down Liza and Tate since he knew a variety of Dark Moves and was immune to Earthquake (meaning that with Skarmory I would not have issues with Claydol throwing around Earthquakes)

I fought on and arrived in Lilycove where I met and crushed May before doing a contest with Mercurary. Mercurary proved his coolness winning without needing any pokeblocks. I took a detor and added a Rhyhorn (Devaster) and Pikachu (Jolt) to my collection in the Safari Zone before heading to Mt Pyre (I counted the peak and the graveyard as 2 seperate areas maily because the map I was looking at counted them as seperate areas). I caught a Shuppet (Casper) and a Duskull (MidKnight). The latter was nice to get but I had kinda hopped for a Vulpix since I lacked a Fire Type.

Both Team Magma and Aqua's Hidouts were cleared out and I headed to Mossdeep. I caught a Spheal which I named Frost. Going into the Gym I was very apprehensive. In all my years playing Emerald I had never beaten Liza and Tate without losing a pokemon before and thus I was extremly worried. Also I had previously had my started to help me with them but not this time. SO began a truely epic battle!

Turn 1

Bolt (Manetric) + Frost (Sealeo) vs Claydol + Xatu

I knew I had to start off strong in this gym. I was playing a risky game leading with Manetric but I wanted an upper hand fast.

Jolt quickly KO'ed Xatu with a thunderbolt and Lunatone came in. Claydol then used Earthquake, Jolt (like a beast) barely survives the STAB Earthquake while Sealeo loses about a third of its health. Sealeo then retaliates with a STAB Ice Beam which stripps half health of Claydol.

Turn 2

Knowing that Manetric was not surviving a second attack I brought in my powerhouse Mercurary. Lunatone fires off a psychic witch does decent damage to Mercurary (At this point I am glad I have a careful natured Skarmory). Claydol blasts off another Earthquake which takes off another third of Sealeo's health. I get the KO with Ice Beam though and I am currently very happy with how the battle is progressing.

Turn 3

With Sealeo hurt and not looking likely to survive a psychic I go to my trump card Shadow. Skarmory does about half to Solrock with Steel Wing but Sitrus Berry lets it recovery enough health so that Steel Wing can only 2KO. Lunatone uses Psychic but Shadow shruggs that off. Solrock charges up a Solar Beam.

Turn 4

Skarmory uses Steel Wing and takes 1/2 off Solrock. Lunatone CM's up and Solrock hits Shadow with a Solar Beam. It does just under half damage but shadow KO's with Bite.

Turn 5

I know that Lunatone cannot tough Absol so its a question of whether It can KO skarmory before I KO it. I am also aware that Liza and Tate have not had the oppotunity to use thir Hyper Potions yet so leaving it in the red zone is not an option. Skarmory uses Wing Attack and takes over half off. Sitrus Berry restores enough health however so that next turn Steel Wing will not KO. Lunatone CM's while I make a mistake and Swords Dance with Shadow.

Turn 6

At this point I am slightly worried. Shadow can beat Lunatone no problem but Lunatone is faster than Shadow can can use Psychic. I am not confident that Mercurary can take a +2 Psychic so I have only one option. I make the best move possiable and use Quick Attack from Shadow hoping that a +2 Quick Attack and Steel Wing can KO. Lunatones health bar slowly decreases and........it faints!

I just did something in a Nuzlocke that i have been unable to replicate in my standard run through's!

Ater the gym I prevent Team Magma from stealing the rocket fuel. Mercurary spiked up and phased around ading up Spikes damage while Steven's Metang took them down.

@ ginganinja I assume the only way you got a team that full of badassery is with a no dupes clause? And btw, is the inside and outside of mnt pyre one or two areas? Does it just say mount pyre for both?

yeah no Dupes clause though Skarmory was found first go as was Rhyhorn, Spheal and Electrike

And I was not sure if it counted for 2 areas or one. The walkthrough I was reading stated that it was Mt Pyre and then the Mt Pyre Summet so I went with that. It was only later that I realised I may have broken the rule. I guess if everyone thinks it counts as one area then I will deposit/declare dead my Dusclops. Opinions on this would be most helpful!

Doing a Scramblocke of Sapphire.

My team will be:
@Death Incarnate, you may regret asking these guys for hard ones. I'll start you off with a Sableye named Jadona. It cannot use any Ghost or Dark moves, cannot learn any moves from a move tutor, and can only know 1 TM or HM move for every 2 badges you have.

Take a Cacnea and don't evolve it!

@Death: Prepare yourself for my worst challenge ever. I give you Failsauce the Wingull. He must solo Flannery without using a Water move or he must learn and keep Water Gun forever. He may also never learn any Water moves other than Water Gun if you fail this requirement. In order to evolve, he must 2HKO (exactly, no OHKO) every Pokemon you encounter in New Mauville. He must learn and keep Stockpile and either Spit Up or Swallow forever unless he KOs two of Liza & Tate's Pokemon simultaneously. If you somehow manage to fulfill all these requirements, pat yourself on the back and teach him whatever moves you want.

Death Incarnate: Take a Wurmple. It must always know String Shot. It can only evolve into Dustox. It may only evolve into Cascoon if it manages to lower an opposing Pokemon's speed to -6 using only String Shot. It may only evolve into Dustox if it deals the finishing blow to Roxanne's Nosepass. Dustox may never be the lowest level Pokemon on your team. Dustox may never learn Toxic, Rest, Protect, or any Bug-type attacks other than String Shot. Nickname Dustox "Dum Dum".

D.Incarnate, take a Ralts. That's it. Ralts. Forever. No evolution, and absolutely NO attacking moves. Must always be within 5 levels of your Dustox. It must have Growl, and lead in every Wally battle. Call it Cleri-Crap.

Ok D.Incarnate, your last Pokemon may be a Treecko (don't even think i spelt it right -_-). Treecko may evolve to Grovyle after 1HKOing 10 Pokemon that isn't a lower level than treecko and you may not use a move super effective against them. It can then evolve into a Sceptile after 1HKOing one of Winona's Pokemon that isn't Peliper. Once you learn Leaf Blade, it may be its only grass attack.

Ok, since he's doing i nuzlocke i think he needs some back up pokemon (if not, ignore this post). Your first back up will be a goldeen named "FlyingFish". since this fish thinks its flying type, the only attacking move it may ever use is peck. To proove itslef to its flying brethren, it must solo one of winona's pokemon to evolve with ONLY peck (you can normally use non attacking moves, but it must prove its flying-ness in the Winnona fight by only using peck to solo a pokemon). If you get it after Winnona, your shit out of luck, it must be a goldeen untill victory road. To keep this thing from being an hm slave you have to solo one e4/champion's pokemon with it, just to keep you honest. Have fun!

@Death incarnate

this pokemon may only be used IF and ONLY IF, all of your pokemon die and all your backups are dead.

you get a trapinch named "LastResort". in order to train it, you are only allowed to fight pokemon in one route of your choosing (e.g. route 111), or when you travel to mt pyre. you must train LastResort until it has gained at least 30 levels in that route in order to get strong enough to avenge his fallen brethren, and only then may it evolve into vibrava. every 6 levels you must travel to the top of mt pyre to pay respects to your dead party. immediately after getting to the top you must travel back to whatever route you chose to train in. gaining exp while not in that route or mt pyre means that trapinch may not evolve.

vibrava may only evolve into flygon after completely obliterating whoever defeated your last party member (if it was a wild pokemon then kill like 50 of the species i guess xD), or if you beat glacia. whichever comes first.

Grab a Numel. You may only evolve it if it switches into:

(Choose one)
a) Ten wild Tentacools which know Bubblebeam (only if you're under level 30),
b) Five higher-levelled Swimmers' Pokemon,
c) Two of Juan's Pokemon.

Naturally, if it dies, it's dead. Oh, and one more thing. It MUST be the first replacement into your party if and when one of your main Pokemon dies, and if it dies while you're trying for the requirement you may not switch another backup in; finish the game with five Pokemon in your party.

Take the risk and try to let it become halfway decent, or just keep it safe and wimpy? Hmm...

@Death incarnate.

This is one of your "backups"

When your Treeko dies, the power of medical science has saved him from certain death. This counts as one of your backup pokemon. You must re-nickname you Treeko "Braindead" as soon as possible, and you must teach it every TM possible that you currently have on you at the exact moment it is saved from death's clutches. You can either go from top to bottom, or bottom to top on the list.

Your Treeko did not survive unscathed, however, and is currently still on the downward spiral of death. You must continuously give your Treeko TMs in order for it to sustain life. Every 2 levels, you must teach it a TM of a move it has never previously known. If you are unable to do so, you must teach it an HM. Your Treeko can never forget HMs once taught. Unfortunately, there is a point where all medicines have been tried, and it seems like there is not much hope for your poor companion. If you cannot teach Treeko any more TMs or HMs because its movepool is full of HMs, it will die after reaching another 2 levels. Further more, if you did not evolve your Treeko (or Grovyle) before being killed in battle, it may never do so in this state.

Have fun!

Deathincarnate, one of your backup Pokemon is a Koffing. It must learn and know Selfdestruct or Explosion at all times. It can be revived as much as you want, but only if it faints due to it using Selfdestruct or Explosion. It may not evolve to Weezing until you have 8 gym badges.

Team of 6 with 5 backups. I will be ignoring the ability to "revive" Koffing.

dunno if you just didn't want it but i gave you a 6th backup a little while ago on the scramble thread. if you don't want it, that's cool but most people bring 12 on "scramblelockes"

Yea Scramblockes! I feel special cos i was the first to do one :) although they're pretty fun. Anyways, for my Diamond Nuzlocke i recently beat the second gym and have had one death which was my Zubat. Anyways, will do a longer update in a couple of days.

I must have missed it, but I'll go with 5 backups. Adds a bit more difficulty.
Also, this'll be my first playthrough of Sapphire ever. I've played Emerald though, so it can't be too different.

Also, I'll be KOing Kyogre.

Episodes 24 through 27 are up and running on my channel!
The first bonus video should be coming soon.

Hint: It has to do with Pokemon.

Bet you never would've guessed that, haha.

Reviving this with a Platinum update.
Inside Wayward cave with Mira killing all the double battlers. When I fought Jupiter Skuntank required a lot of playing around and Intimidate abuse to win.

Cleo (Gyarados) lv 21, Brave
Bite
Tackle
Dragon Rage
Splash

Finally evolved and figures to be a major tank esp. with Intimidate abuse.

Leo (Grotle) lv 23, Naughty
Razor Leaf
Bite
Curse
Absorb

Huge tank on my team. Given that things cant touch him now he will become awesome when he gets Leech Seed and Synthesis.

Neca (Staravia) lv 24, Adamant
Return
Wing Attack
Quick Attack
Filler

The one thing I refuse to let die, it has max attack and a great speed stat thus, will become a major powerhouse for my team. Still don't know what it's final moveslot will be. Additionally it allows me to double Intimidate abuse with Gyarados.

Plans for the team include obtaining a Jolteon and Lucario to continue the trend of amazing defensive type coverage, simultaneously giving me two special sleepers, and getting something I like to use, ideally something like a Gardevoir, Houndoom or Froslass.

Annoyances: Not catching a Gible due to its refusal to stay in a Pokeball and insistence on Dragon Rageing. I wouldn't have used it anyways but w/e.

Well my Emerald Challenge is over........
With my VICTORY!

Basically Juan was pretty much swept by Jolt and Frost (which had evolved into Walrein)

I thought Victory Road would be easy too......until that last freaking Double battle with they use Skill Swap Slaking. Lost (mercury) Skarmory to a surprise Flamethrower from Slaking (like wtf special slaking) and was pretty much guttered. I trained up Judo (which I had not used since Norman) and Castform to make up numbers.

Gotta say that Frost is a beast. He survived a Rock Slide from Absol.... and a SD boosted Rock Slide a turn later. Was pretty stoaked!. Judo and Frost made quick work of Sidney. Absol also took about half of Phoebi's team but fell to a Crit Earthquake from her last pokemon (Dusknoir). I was guttered since I was at +6 too and the damn thing had survived my STAB Bite. Anyway Glacia was next and Judo barley took down Galie and Sealeo. However my challenge almost came to a close when her second Galie came out. I was about to stay in but I was worried about Jolt taking prior damage and I guessed that Thunderbolt would not OHKO Wallrein. so I switched in m Frost.....right into Galie's Explosion right off the bat. Like who uses Explosion first turn? Anyway Frost is a beast and survived. Drake was swept straight up by Frost and the Champion was left.

Jolt lost like 15 health from Wailord's Waterspout since i hit it with a thunderbolt straight off. Walace switched to Wiscash to take the Thunderbolt though. I had to Sac Judo to take get its health low enough to take it out. Ludicolo was beaten by Encoring Double Team (Risky I know) and then going to Castform to set up Rain and then going back to Jolt to get the 2KO with Thunder. Wailord and Gyarados were OHKO'ed and then it was Tentacruel. My rain had run out so I went to Wallrein and encored a Toxic. I then went back to Jolt and got the 2KO with Thunderbolt. The champ now had only Milotic left. I had only 1 thunderbolt PP left and it was too risky to get rain back up again since I did not think Thunder would OHKO and powering up Milotics surf is a stupid idea. Frost managed to Paralyse the thing and wear it down. Wallace used his Full Restores but I was winning. Just as Frost was about to launch the finishing blow...... Milotic killed it with a Crit Surf. I was really upset since frost had been my powerhouse and he deserved to survive the Nuzlocke challenge. ANyay Jolt had the free switch so I used Thunder and it...missed. Milotic used Recover. I used Thunder again and it...missed. Milotic gets back up to full health again. At this point I am freaking out. I fire off a thunder again and it finally connects brnging it down to under 1/3. Milotic hits me with Surf (where is that 25% paralysis chance) though and I just survive. I decide to take the risk and go with my last Thunderbolt PP and hope that I can KO. If i don't Milotic can KO with Surf and Wallace will prob heal with a Full Restore and it will come down to Dusknoir CMing and hopefully beating it with Shadow Ball after enough boosts. However Thunderbolt KO's and I win my first Emerald nuzlocke with about 1/2 my team gone.

Winners
Jolt
Castor
MidKnight

I just learned how to use ROMs to get Fire Red Omega! I'm SO (badly) Nuzlocking this! There's a Fire Red race on the Nuzlocke Players social group, but screw the race, I'm going solo!

Yep, going 3rd Gen again, Detroitlolcat's Fire Red Omega Nuzlocke Challenge? Yes.

After some technical difficulties, Lolcat enters his name, his rival's name (McFAIL), and enters Pallet Town...again...but this time...it's a hacked game...

After playing with his NES (seriously? A NES?) Lolcat bounds down the hacked stairs to meet his mother. The mother tells Lolcat that the TV says that boys should leave their houses to train beasts to fight and die for them, so Mom sends Lolcat to get a Pokemon from the Professor. Professor Oak gives Lolcat a choice between three Pokemon, no not Squirt, Char, and Bulba! This is a hack, remember!

Magby, Elekid, Smoochum. Which, do you want, Lolcat?
...
"I'll take the fire one, as fire is fun to play with, seemingly", replies Lolcat. Lolcat names the Magby Lolmagby. McFail takes an Elekid. Bzzzzt! Sounds like a vuvuzela!

"Hey, Lolcat, let's battle!" says McFail, and the fight is on. Lolcat throws out Lolmagby to fight Elekid. Lolmagby and Elekid trade off Leers and Quick Attacks until Elekid faints. Also, Magby=Flame Body=win.

Dejected by his failure, McFail leaves the Lab and Lolcat exits after him. Lolcat finds a Ponyta in the grass, but can't catch it because he has no Pokeballs. After a short stroll where he finds a Magby, Lolcat enters Viridian Pokemart where the clerk gives him a parcel to deliver to Oak. Annoyed, Lolcat reenters Route 1 where he meets Oak again.

McFail enters the Lab again where Oak begins to speak. Oak then delivers one Pokedex each to Lolcat and McFail with the task of recording data on the 386 Pokemon of the Kanto (Omega) region. After another trip through the first route, Lolcat reenters Viridian City where he obtains an Old Rod. Now, here's the question: Should Lolcat fish for his first Poke or find it on land. If you think Lolcat should fist for it, text FISH to 76501, if you think Lolcat should find it on land, text LAND to 76501.

Thanks for voting! The results:
Fish-0
Land-1. Land it is. Hopefully it's something exotic...big bucks...
Houndour! That's cool. Dour! It shall be named HOUNDEATH, as it's a pun on the word DEATH, and Houndour will reap your soul! Bwahahahahaha! But just for fun, let's see what was behind door number 2. If Lolcat fished instead, he would have gotten a Barboach. Ehh, both are cool. I plan on getting a water/ground anyway, as I would prefer Houndour. ROute 22, time for Pokemon number 3. Also, Houndeath took FIVE POKEBALLS TO CATCH! What the hell??

And on Route 22, the Pokemon of the moment is... SENTRET! Meh, Furret's kind of weak. But it's not TERRIBLE... It should be named Sentrety, as I'm lazy! After a quick grind to levels 7 and 8, Lolcat proceeds west to the first Rival battle.

Battle start, Lolcat throws out Houndeath to match a Zubat. Holy God, this game is hard, Zubat's already level 9. Ember beats Leech Life, and Houndeath beats Zubat. Houndeath gets off a quick Ember before switching to Lolmagby. Unfortunately, both Sentrety and Houndeath died. One to hax, one fairly.

Gonna end now. Might play tomorrow time permitting, almost guaranteed update Sunday.

End of Part 1.

I'm sorry people, but ill have to be the one to break the silence.......... Nuzlocke is dieing on Smogon....... its sad, but it's happening..

Anyways, for my Diamond Nuzlocke, i am up to the Pokemon League with the current party-in-training:

Riolu (about to evolve) - lv.30ish
Chatot - lv.40ish
Torterra - lv.50
Floatzel - lv.48ish
Weavile - lv.46ish
Luxray - lv.36ish

Well i recently got 3 new party members because i figured it would be better to do the pkmn league with 6 rather than 3 pokemon after my Pachirisu died.

Anyways, deaths:

Zubat
Pachirisu
Medicham
Some hm slave.......

Anyways, hopefully this revives this thread a bit.

Sorry I have not updated in Forever, but I'll try to give a recap.
I think I left off before Lt. Surge. Dig Dug (Dugtrio), destroyed him.
In celadon, a got en evee, and named it balance. Soon afterwards, it became flareon. Flareon then destroyed Erica. I underestimated snorlax, costing Digdug his life. I also did not know how powerful the fighting sub gym was, and that destroyed Widgit. I re-introduced Django the drowzee as Django the hypno. Django destroyed almost all the grunts in saffron city. I later (after a lot of training) defeated Sabrina with Sir Sting, OHKO-ing all of her psychic pokemon. Django easily apprehended Koga with Psychic. I then (using Django) destryed the fighting sub gym, gaining Sanji the hitmonlee to the team.

Blaine was easy (spam surf), and giovanni wasn't much harder. I then went to the powerplant, and caught Thor the Zapdos. My rival challenged me again (he does not learn well) and it was all going to plan until Alakazam. I sent out Sir Sing (he had OHKO-ed it every other time) but it out sped me. Super effective Psychic ripped apart Sir sting, him going down fighting. Enraged, Destiny bit the alakazam, causing it to faint. To fill up the empty spot, I chose Belletrix the Vileplume, but it didn't fill Sir Stings place with me.
E4
-Lori: Sanji's Brick break decimated all of her water-ice, while Balance's Flamethrower destroyed Jynx. Thor finished up by killing Slowbro with Tbolt.
-Bruno: Destiny took care of the two onix, while Djngo took on everything else. Easy.
-Agatha:Balance's Shadow Ball destroyed most the team. I switched Thor in to overpower arbok, but misclicked and made it stay in against gengar. It's shadow ball did a great deal to Thor, but Thor was still the victor.
-Lance: This is where things start to not go as planned. Tbolt OHKO-ed gyarados, while Destiny's Ice Beam almost beat the rest of the guys. I should have switched out, but overestimated Destiny. It out sped Destiny, and hit it with Hyper Beam.

-Yang: The final battle begins! Thor takes out Pidgeot with Tbolt. Yang switched to Rhydon, while Ying switched to Belletrix. I set up suuny day, and hit it with Solarbeam. Yang swithches to Alakazam, while Ying switches to Balance. Alakazam out speeds Balance, and psychic does half her health. But Balance retaliated with shadow ball. Yang swithches in Arcanine, While Ying switches in Thor. Arcanine out speeds thor, and hits it with boosted flamethrower. Thankfuly, the sun fades. I use my last max potion to heal Thor. Arcanine uses flamethrower, but Thor finishes him off with another Tbolt. Yang switches in Gyrdos. Thor uses Tbolt. No more gyrados. The final pokemon. Venasaur vs. Balance. For a final battle, it only lasted one turn. Balance OHKO-ed Vanasaur, and Ying becomes CHAMPION!

Hey, I'm too lazy to post another story for now so I'm just going to give the Brock battle:
Fire Red Omega, btw.

Lolcat's moves will look like this
Brock's moves will look like this

Leader Brock sent out Geodude (Lv. 10 Geodude)
Lolcat sent out Swampy (Lv. 14 Mudkip)

Ok, easy enough. In-game battle means that Water Gun is a KO.

Swampy used Water Gun!
It's super effective!
Foe Geodude Fainted!
Leader Brock sent out Kabuto (Lv. 12 Kabuto)

Lolcat withdrew Swampy!
Lolcat sent out Lolmagby (Lv. 13 Magby)

Hmm...I doubt Karate Chop is a KO, but it's definitely a 2KO.

Lolmagby used Karate Chop
It's Super Effective (It did like nothing)
Foe Kabuto used Mud Shot!
It's Super effective! (1/2 of his life!)
Lolmagby's Speed fell!

Fucking great. Back to Swampy we go!

Lolcat withdrew Lolmagby!
Lolcat sent out Swampy!

Foe Kabuto used Mud Shot
Swampy's Speed fell!

Swampy gets in relatively unscathed and is ready to shoot a gun of water

Foe Kabuto used Absorb
It's super effective (it did less than Mud Shot)
Swampy had it's energy drained
Swampy used Water Gun!

Absorb, Water Gun. I should win this

Foe Kabuto used Water Gun (WTF???)
It's not very effective...
Swampy used Water Gun
Foe Kabuto Fainted!

Good. And the next Poke is...

Leader Brock sent out Omanyte (Lv. 12 Omanyte)

Fair enough. Shouldn't have Absorb or any other SE attack.

Foe Omanyte used Protect!
Swampy used Water Gun
But it failed!

Kill time!

Foe Omanyte used Protect
Swampy used Water Gun
But it failed!

Deja Vu, man. Kill time!

Foe Omanyte used Mud-Slap!
Swampy's Accuracy fell!
Swampy used Water Gun
Foe Omanyte used Mud-Slap
Swampy's Accuracy fell!
Swampy used Mud-Slap!
Swampy's Attack missed!

Ugh...must switch to avoid accuracy death.

Lolcat switched in Goon! (Lv. 12 Zigzagoon)
Foe Omanyte used Water Gun

Zigzagoon used Headbutt!
It's not very effective
Foe Omanyte used Rock Tomb!

Well, this is bad. Something's getting sacced. Both Swampy and Magby could kill it given a Potion. I have 2 Potions, so my options are:

1. Sac Zigzagoon to heal Swampy.
2. Bring in Swampy without saccing Zigzagoon
3. Sac Zigzagoon to heal Magby
4. Bring in Magby without saccing Zigzagoon.

Options 1,2,3 are sane, 4's stupid. I don't want to bring in Magby because I can't KO, so options 1 and 2 are the only smart ones. I think a Rock Tomb would really hurt Swampy, so your death will not be in vain, Zigzagoon.

Lolcat used Potion!
Swampy's HP was restored by 20 points!

Omanyte used Water Gun!
Goon fainted!

Sniff...sorry Goon. You're a war hero, you know that?

Lolcat sent out Swampy
Swampy used Mud-Slap

It's Super effective and Omanyte's Accuracy fell!
Foe Omanyte used Rock Tomb
Swampy's Speed fell!
Foe Omanyte used Water Gun
It's not very effective
Swampy used Mud-Slap
It's super effective!
Foe Omanyte used Mud-slap!
Swampy's Accuracy fell!
Swampy used Water Gun
Omanyte fainted!

That was an ordeal. Score is 3-3. He's sending in Rhyhorn, so Swampy will finish it off.

Foe Rhyhorn used Horn Attack!
Swampy used Water Gun!
Swampy's Attack Missed!!!

FUUUUUUUUUCK DAMN MUDSLAP! Now I have to sac Beedrill to heal Swampy again!

Swampy sent out Beedrill!
Rhyhorn used FLAMETHROWER???
It's Super effective, but...

it did nothing. Rhyhorn has shit SpA.

Lolcat used a Potion on Swampy
Rhyhorn killed Beedrill
Swampy killed Rhyhorn

2-2. Brock. He's going for Onix. OHKO time!

Onix used Swagger

Fuck.
Swampy is confused!

It it suicides I lose, if it hits him I win.........

It hurt itself, but I have a secret weapon.

Lolcat used PERSIM BERRY!
Swampy's unconfused!

Onix dug a hole

Dig has 80 BP in Omega. Onix has STAB. If Swampy survives, then I can still win this. If not, GG Brock. This is where the shit hits the fan.

Foe Onix used Dig!
Swampy (fainted or used Water Gun? It has 22 HP)...

...
...
...
Used Water Gun

Foe Onix Fainted!

2-1. Mudkip (10 HP) and Magby (22 HP) have to kill a Vulpix. The only items Lolcat has is his Oran Berry. With 20 HP, Mudkip should be able to take a hit. I'm keeping it in.

Brock sent in Vulpix (Lv. 12 Vulpix)
Lolcat used Oran Berry
Foe Vulpix used Hypnosis

Damn. Please wake up soon Swampy!!!

Vulpix used Ember
It's not very effective...
Swampy's sleepin'

If Ember's the worst it can do then GG Brock. If he has a better attack, then GG Brock the other way!

Vulpix used Substitute
Swampy is sleeping

Err...that's not good. I would also assume that Vulpix has a non-Fire attack.

Vulpix used Ember
Swampy's still asleep

Ok...I can take about 7 more Embers, and Magby can take about 10, hopefully. Swampy should wake up this turn to break the Sub.

Vulpix used Ember
Swampy's up and gunning

Vulpix lost its Sub. If it Hypnosis's again, then DAMMIT YOU ANNOY ME! If not, well GG.

Vulpix used Hypnosis
Back to bed Swampy...

Ugh, I'm switching in Magby who has Flash Fire. Vulpix can't touch this.

Vulpix used Ember
Magby's Flash Fire just kicked yo' ass!
Magby used Karate Chop, bitches! And it be crittin'

Vulpix just sucked it, and Brock did too!

Lolcat>Pewter City.

GG Brock.

(narration)

Also, Mudkip gained three levels and evolved into Marshtomp. Magby gained one. Lv. 17 and 14, now. Lolcat plans on training Magby after going to Goon and Hippie (Zigzagoon and Beedrill}'s funerals. Lolcat's never taking Brock for granted again. In commemoration of the battle, Lolcat got a TM for Rock Tomb, which was taught to Marshtomp. Unfortunately, since Marshtomp got to level 17 instead of 16, it did not try to learn Mud Shot. This makes Swampy's life even harder, and the team has enough adversity with it's 67% death rate. But where the team falls short in number, it surpasses those limitations with strength. Swampy and Magby are two of the strongest Pokemon you'll find, and already have their sights set on Misty despite the type disadvantage. Goodbye, fellow Nuzlockers, see you in Cerulean!

I have caught 3 Bidoofs in a row and an Abra has eluded me. I am not pleased.

Current party: Lv11 Turtwig, Lv8 Bidoof (Giving up on the poor guy, since I realised X-Attacks are consumables), Lv 8 Zubat.

I will not be following the rule that you can't buy balls from Marts by the way.

I hope I catch a Machop soon, I really want a Kadabra.

I have Gyarados, Venomoth, Umbreon, Typhlosion, Donphan and tentacruel. Sadly, I lost a level 37 Ampharos to a critical hit from hydro pump blastoise on victory road...I didn't think he packed anything that could kill me with the HP I had, VANITY THY NAME IS KITTEN BUKKAKE.
