When you say your delay is 497, do you mean that is your calibrated delay, or the delay you're trying to hit?
You can abuse in sprout tower. Use sweet scent.

I'm currently trying to breed a shiny near flawless Adamant Stantler (Yay for Christmas! :P), and I need to hit a target time of 9:02:14 and a delay of 503. My seed needs to be 6C090201. I've already got the shiny egg and I'm working on the IVs. But here's the weird part: I've hit my delay and target time, but for some reason, I got different responses. This happened to me twice, and I'm not sure why. Any help?

How do you know you hit your target time and delay if you got different responses?
From what I hear, yes it is. I've never done it myself but I remember someone saying area 5 (I think) was where you wanted to be. NPCs, I guess.
I used the "Search Elm" option, and entered in the responses and it said I hit my target time and delay, but the responses I got were not what I needed :/

It will only tell you that they are if it is what you needed. It doesn't always start at the first response. Sometimes it's a little later. This is because there's an NPC that advances the frame before you have a chance to do anything. When the frame is advanced, it moves to the next elm response because those, like the IVs, are dependent on the frame that you're on.
NPCs are kinda unpredictable. They advance it every time they move (walk or turn). Maybe even when they sit still, not entirely sure. You're actually better off getting the movement out of the way before you check your responses. That means you're less likely to have it move when you're about to get the egg. Just keep track of what response number you're on (refer to the list, not how many calls you've made) and stop before calling the one that corresponds to your target frame.
497 is my calibrated delay and my target is 862. i dont know, and can you tell me how much advaced frame for your sweer scent ?? in building, and water (surf)
Target is what you should be aiming for. There is a problem though - odd delays for calibration means they stay odd. You should change the year or do something else to make your target delay odd :)

Thanks I have catch gastly, now for staryu, since staryu is easier catch with super rod, can you give me tips for catch by fishing (ex. advances Frame, where i should standing near water or above surfing) and what method for this one
Whenever I caliberate about 10 times I usually get the same delay and seconds about 5 times.
But when i change the time and try I never get the same delay.

That seems odd. Are you sure that you put the seed in correctly? I'm thinking that that shouldn't happen, but I can't say for certain.
Are the years the same? That could explain it.
