Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

:/ Pikatimer still isn't working, and I've downloaded Java, and I even tried the batch file but that didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Yes if it was on the third post i have downloaded it at least twice.

Look in your applications for a program called Terminal. Open it up. Inside of it, type "mono " (without the quotes) and drag the RNG Reporter.exe into Terminal, then hit Enter. If it doesn't open, and you get some sort of error, please post that error here.

Okay so how do I save the batch file into pikatimer? I renamed pikatimer. I ran the batch file and nothing really happened... It installed and that was it.

what? you need to put it in the same folder as pikatimer, rename pikatimer, and run the file. that's it.

if that didn't fix it, then i don't know. the few times i had that problem, it worked.

How do I increase the time on the pikatimer when I've reached the limit?

I was trying to rng abuse a Naive Giratina with 69 fire hp but the delay is way too low.

My wanted delay is lower the 600 calibrated delay but when I tried increasing the time by changing the to the year 2000, I got 604 delays but I only 14 seconds in the secondary timer on the pikatimer to hit my target delay and it's still not enough time for me.

So how do I hit my target delay if I can't increase the timer on the pikatimer to give me enough time? =/

If this is on Platinum or HG/SS, you're more than good enough to hit 600delay and 14seconds because that's the common calibration for Platinum (HG/SS is lower so yeah). Methinks you're not going fast enough - I don't think you can increase the time on the timer when everything's set on it by calibration. You could fiddle a bit with your calibration values though and see if that helps anything, but you don't want to set your calibrated results too low anyways since that wouldn't be accurate.

For 604 delay, you shouldn't even need a timer. That's well within the average for DPPt. I just use a stop watch for delays like that. Two-stage timers actually mess me up.

Well, I want a Jolly FAL2010 Mew. I'm at the Fuchsia City Pokémart, since there are no moving NPC's. Saved in front of that deliveryman, now what?

You just RNG abuse it like any other Pokémon, except you use the Wondercard method now and you have to soft reset for natures. Don't you love Wondercards?

I have a question!

I want to create a double edge clefable with magic guard for certain. So I'll have to RNG an egg in emerald I know that.

But how will I know the egg I get is the one with a magic guard ability?

Could this method do?
-Pick up the egg
-Go to battle frontier->tower. Do the cloning glitch.
(After doing the cloning glitch, I should have the egg in my party but an egg with the same nature and ability should remain at the daycare man)
-Hatch the egg, transfer to diamond
-Evolve to check nature

Would that work? A good physical spread seems 4 hours into the game in emerald and I don't wanna do it over again if it turn out to be something else.

It's the same process as here: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part5
Good luck! :)

Oooh, so, I got the flawless spread from that post (52140289), put it into my RNG reporter. There I can find the spread is on frame 116, and when I go to Seed to Time, there I can find my Delay is 638. All I need to do is fill in the Pikatimer, hit the delay and then pray I got the right nature when I talk to that delivery man?

Right I made a new folder and put pikatimer and the batch folderi n the same folder. Tried opening it with it and that but nothing. I can't run pikatimer for some reason and when I run the batch folder it just does the same thing. a black text box appears and dissapears...

Right...Well, here I am in Mt. Silver in front of the Moltres.
I hit my seed first try and accidentally called Prof. Okido (Oak)...
So I'm hoping he only advances the frame by 1 correct, if not at all?
I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could verify this

Thanks in advance,
Skye

Well, I was already on frame 12 before that. and for some reason I can't verify what frame I'm on in Rng reporter, it just doesn't work for some strange reason.
So, all I need to know is how many frames does 1 Prof. Oak call advance me?

Hi there. I'm back with the same problem - Pikatimer.

But now, I've downloaded Java Runtime Environment, and there was this sort of step-by-step guide I was using. It said to right click the .jar file and click "Open With" then "Browse." I did that. Then it said to go to where Java is saved, and open Javaw.exe then click ok. I did that. This is the error I got:

"Could not find main class:
C:\Users\Username\Downloads\PikaTimer2.0.2.jar. Program will exit."

And now I don't know what to do D: Any help, please? Thanks in advance.
