Really need help right now.


Does anyone have a good Rash HP Grass seed with Encounter Slot 6, or any nature that is good for a Flareon with Encounter slot 6?
 
PID: 3FF70D5B (Rash, ability 1), IVs: 30/30/31/30/27/31, seed: 201220F1, delay: 8422 (year: 2011), method 1: 52, K (synch): 3, K (no synch): 25, HP: Grass 70

Is what I got using PokeRNG. You should check the encounter slots just to be safe.

PokéRNG gave me this:

The first one has Encounter Slot 6 on Frame 28, the other on Frame 4, take your pick!

EDIT: Ninja'd, but that Delay on supermarth64's spread is insane!
 
Haha, I think it's different cuz I did HGSS instead of DPPt. Stupid muscle reflex :P

On what Encounter Slots do Trophy Garden special Pokémon appear?

EDIT: Found it, never mind, but does anyone know what the starting frames are for Steven's Pokémon in HGSS, and what method is used?
 
If you mean the Hoenn starters they're method 1, I abused a Mudkip a long time ago and if I remember correctly it had a starting frame of 1, I don't know about the others. But you can test this quickly tbh.

Yeah, I recently did Oak's and Steven's Pokes and Oak is Frame 5 and Steven is Frame 1. That info should probably be added to the HGSS post actually...
 
Well, the Oak info's there, and not including Steven's Pokémon should mean that you can assume that they're Frame 1. But still it would've been nice if it'd been there.

Emerald no split breeding. emulator Used

Hello,

Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?


I'm locked in my nature(calm) I prepared the emloop, my frame is 15117 ( 4:11.95)

I saved in font of the daycare man who has the egg. Reset and start the emloop almost at the same time, en wait till the emloop reach 00:01:00 and then I make my save state, But when i'm cheking on wich frame I'm are, But I'm always hit a frame high above my target frame last few times I cheeked my frame I was like 4000 frames above my target frame.

I don't really get what I'm doing wrong. I have did the breeding rng before on emerald and then it worked but that was like 1 year ago.

A few possibilities:

~ You're hitting Split or Alternate spreads.
~ Your VBA frame skip is at 9 (Or something else than 1).
~ Your VBA is running at a higher speed than 100%.
~ Parent's have been placed in the daycare in the wrong slots.
~ Parent's have the wrong IV's.

Since you're claiming to land at least 4000 frames above target frame my bet is you're hitting alternate spreads, as 4000 frames is more than 1 minute.
 
Ok, I've tried and failed for almost 8 months now :/ Is there anyone who can help me step by step right from the beginning? Either on HG/SS or D/P/Pt, either works.

I can teach you, but I'm kinda busy tonight. So you can read through my guide, in the last post of my trade thread, and either try it, or VM me with questions and I'll get back to you tonight/tomorrow.

It's probably Pikatimer, in which case it's more luck that it ends up that way than consistency. In that case, just add half a second to the first time.

Either that or it might be that you're supposed to put the DS time a minute before what you are in which case, you'll end up with results that look like you hit a second above what you're supposed to.

I wanted a male Slowpoke and instead got a female. For gender I entered male and for gender ratio I entered 87.5% male, 12.5% female. My seed says that the gender should be a male.

Should I just try again or should I select a different seed?
 
Okay so I am trying to capture a Feebas in Mt. Coronet, my seed is cd0b09ba and my target frame is frame 243. Fished pokemon have that monster frame of 4, so I turned around on the ground to advance my frame by one, did exactly 119 journal flips, and then I fished the tile I knew Feebas to be at (I captured it earlier and found it's encounter slot to be 0, so I went ahead and chose the frame with encounter slot 0 to be safe), but when I did, I found Whiscash instead, and after I caught it, I found out it was frame 244, not frame 243.

There are no NPC's in this part of Mount Coronet, I used defog so weather couldn't be interfering, so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. D:
