Aww, sorry to hear that. Feebas was a real pain to catch. I had to settle for slightly less than perfect spreads on some of them because of all the trolling. Abusing eggs is way easier than catching wild Feebas >.>

When the day rolls over frames advance right? So is it possible to RNG the outcome of swarms/Feebas tiles with this method?
Yes, the frame advances when a day rolls over, but swarm pokemon change as soon as the clock changes over to a new day even if the ds is on, I think that the Feebas tiles would also change spots as well even if the ds is turned on once the clock rolls over to a new day.
Dont you mean if the ds is off? Im trying to do this Capture Project for a friend and Feebas takes loong. :(
Nope, I mean on. I tried the Swarm pokemon thing and it changes as soon as the clock changes day (I used an emulator to test it out and then I tried it on a ds with it turned on) so I'm guessing Feebas squares do the same thing.
That is not what I mean.
We know that the frame changes when the day changes but why does it? What I think is that it is using that frame to determine the swarm and feebas tiles. If this is true it might be possible to predict which feebas tiles shows up.

But then again swarms changes when the ds is off as well. :(
You pretty much have to find the feebas tile before RNG'ing for the seed.
As you find it on the day, and hit the seed again that day saved onto of the tile. Check the seed, and start advancing. Than fish and wish for luck :P

Quick question about RNG reporter. There are 3 options for breeding in Emerald. I can safely assume what the one that says (International) means, but what does it mean by (Split) and (No Split)?
Split happens when it uses the (First?)half of the frame you hit and half of the next frame as you IV's. It happens randomly which is why Emerald is sometimes harder to get the IV's you need.
Yes Im on +-10 del and +-1 sec. Can you give me a link to a guide i did it before but i dont remember how to use RNGreporter. Should i calibrate in the first page in how to use Pikatimer part the guide said 480 delay 14 sec is okay.

Hey guys, I'm looking for someone to teach me how to RNG in Heart Gold. I've read the info here, watched bearsfan's videos, but I can't understand him since my english is not that good for listening. Thanks in advice and sorry if I'm asking in the wrong thread, I don't know where else should I go.
I'm not sure as to how the Feebas tiles work and whether or not it has to do with frames, but you will prolly have to find the tile using regular means. Sorry. :c
But I have just a bit of advice. Once you find the tile and attempt to RNG, I usually find Feebas to be encounter slot 0 in my game. I'm not sure if the encounter slots are randomized as well so I don't know if that will work in your game, but I just wanted to say.
Also, don't be surprised if you have trouble landing on your target frame. I know I did too. The Feebas are trolls.
Increase your delays.
I'm having trouble RNGing a Cresselia on my Platinum. This is the first roaming legendary I've attempted to RNG, and I'm not sure what's going wrong. I was able to successfully RNG an HP Grass 70 31/22/31/30/31/31 event Raikou and a 31/31/31/25/31/31 event Entei on my SS yesterday, so I'm familiar with the system. The problem here is that the coin flips I receive don't match any seeds generated in RNG Reporter, and I've increased the fields to +/- 20 delay and +/- 2 seconds. I'm using ZomgTimer 2.2, and here is the rest of my data:

I haven't even bothered with the frames yet, I just skip the journal and start flipping the coin right away to check my seed. I am saved right in front of Cresselia on Newmoon Island. Like I said, the flips generated do not match any seeds, even with the expanded perimeters on RNG Reporter. Could anyone give me any advice? I'd like to get this Cresselia before I start RNGing for the event Beasts on my Platinum.

Quick question. after I rng abuse my shiny entei from the burned tower and if I save and turn off the game after I met entei in the wild as a shiny pokemon, will it still be the same shiny entei (in the wild) that I've rng abuse when I turn my game back on to where I saved?

Yes, it will be the same one. All of the IVs, shinyness, etc is generated pre-release, this is applicable for all roamers.
