Information:
  • I own the following Pokémon games: Sapphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Colosseum, XD, Diamond, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X, Y, Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby.
  • All of my Pokémon from Gen IV onwards are obtained in retail carts, and my event Pokémon are from legit wondercards. My Gen III Pokémon are obtained using an emulator.
  • My methods of cloning are Enciclopedia Pokémon and Emerald cloning glitch in Gen III and Pokesav in Gens IV and V, with the aid of a flashcart. I cannot clone in Gen VI.
  • I'd rather trade for Pokémon you obtained yourself. Also, I prefer if you have a trade thread at Smogon.
  • Please be patient when dealing with me. I'll try to complete our trades as quickly as possible, but university and life can be unpredictable. Additionally, expect at least one day of delay if you're interested in Gen III or IV Pokémon, since they take time to be transfered.
  • See anything you want nicknamed? Check its OT and ID, and then compare to the list above. If it says "retired", it cannot be nicknamed. Due to technical difficulties, I won't nickname Gen III Pokémon that do not originate from Emerald.
  • I take RNG requests. Please note that I do not own an AR, and therefore cannot battle legendaries more than once per save in Gens IV and V. Hence, if I already caught a legendary you want me to RNG, I'll have to restart my save, which takes time.

  • Enciclopedia Pokémon (viewing Emerald SID/cloning in Emerald)
  • A-save (viewing Gen III SID/cloning)
  • Visual Boy Advance-rr version 23.6 svn 480 (emulator abuses)
  • GBA Save Backup Tool (allows me to transfer emulator save files to a cartridge)
  • Pokésav HGSS & BW (cloning)


What you will find in this thread:
  • RNG abuses in Gens III, IV & V. In particular, capture, wondercard and Dream Radar abuses.
  • A very modest (and outdated) section of females in matching Poké Balls. Expect updates eventually.
  • Shiny breeding in Gen VI once my Powersaves device arrives

1) Attach all items you wish to clone to the Pokemon you will be using to clone. You can use any of the five Pokemon in your party. All Pokemon you are planning to deposit will be cloned, so attach the items accordingly.
2) Go to the PC in the Battle Tower, and deposit the Pokemon that you wish to clone into Lanette's PC.
3) Exit out of the PC and choose to save your progress.
4) Open the PC, and withdraw all the Pokemon you just deposited.
5) Talk with the Wireless Attendant on the far right of the Battle Tower.
6) Pick two Pokemon that are eligible to compete in the Battle Tower.
7) Select the option "Yes", when you are asked "Before entering a BATTLE ROOM, your progress must be saved. Is that okay?"
8) There will be a short pause after selecting "Yes". Wait until this pause is over.
9) She will now ask you "Would you like to save the game?" This is the point where you will turn off your game.
10) Restart your game. The cloned Pokemon will now be in both your PC and your party.
1) Copy and paste the GBA_Backup_Tool .nds and .ini files to the root directory of your Flashcart.
2) Run GBA_Backup_Tool.nds (press X to ignore .sav file creation).
3) Save Backup Menu: creates a folder for storing .sav files, and backup's a .sav file (i.e. copies the current .sav file from the cartridge to the folder in your flashcart).
4) Save Restore Menu: copies any of the stored .sav files in the flashcart to the cartridge, replacing the previous one.
-Once ID is generated, convert it to hexadecimal. It becomes the seed for generating the spread and SID (and will be used in the Researcher window of the RNG Reporter).
-To check the save file's SID, use A-save.
-Use Gen III Pandora's Box. Search for the PID of your target Pokémon.
-Checking which ID/SID frame you hit: use Method 1, Seed 5A0. Look at the frame's PID: the first four digits correspond to your ID, and the last four match your SID (in hexadecimal).
-There is actually a one frame offset. The frame that gives the correct ID/SID combination is one frame after the one given by RNG Reporter (after calibration).
-To check the save file's SID, use A-save.

-Use a Synchronizer.
-Radar-exclusive Pokémon require "sparky" patches. If Pokéradar doesn't produce such a patch the first time you use it (when you hit your seed), try hitting your seed again, doing one Chatot advancement, and using Pokéradar.
-Take note of the frame you are on when entering a patch. If an incorrect Pokémon is encountered, try hitting your seed again and entering the patch on a different frame.
