Let me just say this is my first team ever and had no experience before making this. Feel free to criticize the team if it really is bad. If this team fails, I will be more keen to what moves should and should not be used on certain pokemon/types. Thank you for reading this post and I hope you like it :) PS: This is Unova only and im using pokemon who can get fully evolved and these moves under level 50 or at level 50 for a tournament I've entered on another forum.
Gigalith @ Cutsap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Sp. Def, 252 HP, 4 Atk
Nature: Sassy
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rocks
- Stone Edge
- Explosion
This will be the first pokemon I send out. My plan is to use stealth rocks. if he hits me with a super effective and almost kills me, the sturdy will keep me alive and I'll explode the next turn after eating the cutsap to go first. If I don't die, Stone Edge and Earthquake will be used to attack.
Sigilyph @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Mirror
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Def
Nature: Timid
- Air Slash
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
This is my favorite Sp. Atk Sweeper. Sigilyph with Life Orb is a great combo because of Magic Gaurd, which allows you to get all the benefits of the orb without losing the HP. Aerial Ace and Psychic are STAB Attacks, while Shadow Ball is used to defend against ghosts, and energy ball is used to defend against rocks.
Galvantula @ Choice Specs
Ability: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 Sp.A, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Nature: Timid
- Bug Buzz
- Thunder
- Energy Ball
- HP Ice
Needed a flying/fire weakness type, but wanted to keep my bug type, so this guy seemed perfect. With Compoundeyes, Thunder has a much higher change of hitting, which is why I use that over thunderbolt. HP Ice can be used against dragon types and also flying types, and energy ball for rocks.
Conkeldurr @ Flame orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk, 136 Sp. Def, 120 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Bulk Up
- Payback
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
I took the advice of Shinyweavile and Kemmi and decided to change bisharp to conkeldurr. This is a friend of mines(logitech on this forum) build which I thought worked well. He said bulk up for a couple of turns while taking damage, and then Drain Punch to gain it back. Payback is super affective against ghost types and mach punch is priority.
Chandelure @ Wide Lens
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Sp.A, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Nature: Timid
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- Energy Ball
My Main Sp. Atk Sweeper. He works a lot like Conkeldurr. I use calm mind a couple of times to get my Sp Atk and Defense up, then It's time for some sweeping. Shadow Ball is to be used against Ghost types, and energy ball for water types. I gave him a Zoom Lens for Fire Blast, which adds to the accuracy and makes it hit most times, like galvantula with thunder.
Haxorus @ Shell Bell
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs:252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Def
Nature: Adamant
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Brick Break
My Main Phys. Sweeper. Mold Breaker can get rid of certain abilities such as levitate, so enemies with those abilities will be out of luck. Use Dragon Dance a few times to increase attack and speed, then Dragon Claw is my STAB. Brick break is to be used against Ice types, while earthquake is there in case I need it.
