Erm, every time I use smogon's search engine it responds with a "The website cannot display the page". However, if I go to google and search the pokemon I want in smogon by typing out "(Pokemon) Smogon" it will direct me to the page perfectly fine. This never happened with my old laptop.

Is there any way I can fix this? It's a real hassle.

I read the Feraligatr topic, and i've seen that his item should be Swimming Goggles.
I googled where to find it, and i only see forums where they say it doesn't exist..
So, do the Swimming Goggles exist, and where can you find them ?

if I buy a used copy of Black or White, can I link it up to Dream World, or is it permanently linked to the account and DS of the original owner?
I believe that if you delete the previous save-game and start your own, it will be just like new, so you can link it with your own DS and DW, but I don't know for certain.

Since I can't figure this out conclusively from any search, I'd like to know, is it possible to get Reshiram/Zekrom shiny? I know Victini can't be shiny but I would like a definite answer for Reshiram and Zekrom.
I read somewhere that they specifically coded it so that Zekrom/Reshiram can't be encountered shiny.

Seems like it might be a server-side issue.

Is the Masuda Method confirmed to have x6 probability in Gen V?
Any answer for this? I know that was a thread about it on here or something, but the link for it is broken and I can't search for it.

Does Entrainment on a pokemon with Klutz inhibit the item carried by the pokemon? I'm hoping that I can do what is basically a "worry seed + knock off" in one turn with entrainment.

How does Tangled Feet work? Are you only more evasive WHILE confused or do you gain a stage of evasiveness every time you are confused? I'm a bit confused myself, as I've been using tangeld feet Dodrio online and although it doesn't say my evasiveness rose, I've dodged attacks quite a bit thanks to tangled feet, but I can't quite recall now whether I was always confused while I was dodging or not.

Is there any way to get a specific person as a Dream Pal in the Dream World? My friend and I want to be friends on the Dream World but can't seem to figure it out :(

They turned off the search engine.
Too much server space being used when google does it ten times better anyways.

With the following ev spread : 56hp 252 defense and 200 special defense, who would be physically bulkier, Amoonguss or Venusaur.

scarfchomp(jolly 252 atk evs) vs venusaur(bold 56 hp/252 def evs) with outrage:

160-189 hp 50,8%-60%

scarfchomp(jolly 252 atk evs) vs amoonguss(bold 56 hp/252 def) with outrage:

178-210 hp 46,5%-54,8%

it seems that amoonguss takes physical hits better...

Entrainment: That would work.

Tangled Feet: Only while confused.

Asking again: For mainly Battle Subway use (and the ocasional random wi-fi battle), what would be a good partner for my Sigilyph? Details on how I run it:

My Sigilyph:

Sigilyph @ Leftovers
Magic Guard
Timid
252 HP/Speed 4 Def (Defense EVs were to compensate for a 29 Defense IV, it has equal defenses at Lv50)
Cosmic Power
Stored Power
Roost
Air Slash

I'm not the kind of person who does the Psycho Shift stuff, and Air Slash can help with things that die to it and are too risky to set up on, like Breloom.

what is a good special attacker that can take out garchomp, scizor, and hippowdon? i was thinking nidoking because he has access to fire blast and ice beam (i think) and he will also take no damage from my tyranitars sandstorm. Is there a better pokemon to do this job though? also i have no access to fourth gen only moves

Mix-Infernape with fire move\grass knot\hp ice can outspeed and eliminate all the Pokemon you mentioned. NP Thundurus can do the same. The problem with Nidoking is that it's slower than Garchomp and can't really take CB bullet punches from Scizor.

Even better, make sure it's a Sheer Force Nidoking. Running Earth Power, Flamethrower, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt on a SF Nidoking will wreck things up hard.

Is it now possible to use an Everstone to pass natures via breeding Pokémon of different nationalities, or it still works like in DPPt/HGSS?

Menshay:

I believe so. The reason why it didn't work in generation 4 was that the nature was derived from the personality ID, so the personality ID had to be regenerated twice -- once to fix the Pokemon's nature, and again to give another chance for a shiny Pokemon. Now, however, in generation 5, a Pokemon's nature is independent from the personality ID, so the Everstone method need only change the nature, and not the personality ID, in order to fix that nature.

(As an aside, it is incorrect to say that a Pokemon is from "a different nationality", or "a different country", but only that the Pokemon is from "a different language version". Thus, for example, if a version of Pokemon has French-language text, every Pokemon generated in that game will come from "a French-language version", regardless of whether the game was sold -- or is played -- in France, in Canada, in Switzerland, or even in a non-francophone country.)

Mixed or SpA Speed Boost Sharpedo is also a good consideration, though with sandstorm out you can't use focus sash so he's not as reliable. Still, Ice Beam/HP Fire/Waterfall will pretty much OHKO any of those threats with max SpA, life orb or not. The only thing I don't know is if Sharpeedo can survive a 252 Adamant bullet punch or not, though it is not very effective against him. I'm pretty sure he 1HKOs a non yache berry garchomp with Ice Beam and 2HKOs a special defensive Hippowdon with surf. If you run life orb you can also take EQ over protect and OHKO threats like Jolteon with +1 speed (or almost OHKO them, it might depend on if you have a negative attack nature).

I've also been having great success with a completely physical Sharpedo set, EQ hits really hard then.

Does anyone (ANYONE at all) know what the current Uber suspect list is (that is OU Pokemon that are being considered for being moved to Ubers, right?). Or does anyone know where I can find one?

Actually, considering the last votes in the suspect test thread, right know only Deoxys-E and Latios are on that verge, since they only need a simple majority in the next round of test to be considered Uber.
This can be found in the police review subforums, though.

A few questions:

How does DW work? Can someone give me a quick rundown?

How does Entralink work? Can someone get me started?

I'm trying to build a clear sky team. So far it's been successful but I don't know what to put in the last spot. Any reccomendations? (team below)

Anti-lead Deoxys-s
Poison heal gliscor
Sp.D ferrothorn
Bulky rotom-w
Speced latios
Dual set up terrakion??? <--- This is the one that needs to go.

I'm looking for a pokemon that counters steels, sun teams, and is preferably not weak to reuniclus. Any suggestions?

1. The Dream World is a place where your Pokemon sleeps, and when connected (or should I say synced) to the www.pokemon-gl.com website, you can do mini-games and such to earn Dream Points, for new areas, and Pokemon and items. You then wake up your Pokemon, and you'll recieve the items and the Pokemon your Pokemon encountered on the website.

2. This somehow relates to the Dream World, as you receive your items and Pokemon here. To the east is the Entree Forest, where you catch the Pokemon, and there may be a little boy at the entrance, who will give you the items your Pokemon encountered while in the Dream World. East and west are the "passageways" to other people's Entralinks (to a greater extent, their monochrome version of Unova), here, you can do missions that'll earn you Pass Orbs, that you can use to generate Pass Power, which will grant you faster egg hatching, multiplied Exp, etc. This is also where you register the Pass Power, needed to self-generate.

3. Flash Fire Arcanine? Crunch beats Reuniclus (2HKO), absorbs Fire-type moves and Steel-type moves with ease (Intimidate will work too). Bleh...I'm not good with recommendations.

Or...try Amnesia Camerupt?

The VGC rules say only Pokemon from Unova are allowed and I thought that just meant you have to use Black or White, but seeing Kyurem, Zekrom, Victini, and Reshiram are the only ones banned, are we only allowed to enter the VGC with Generation 5 Pokemon?!?
