2sd RMT

This is my second RMT. I've been using it for a while, and it's been working fine. I just want some advice on this team in case I can imporve it. All constructive critisism welcome.

Starmie @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin
- Trick

Starmie is my regular lead for battles. hydro pump and thunderbolt provide reliable attacks I can use against enemies. rapid spin can help get rid of those annoying ass entery hazards and natural cure is for when I spin toxic spikes away so I can get rid of poisin. trick can cripple some enemies and let starmie switch attacks.

Thundurus (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Thundurus is a beast. It can be used as an annoyer and a sweepper. thunder wave stops all other sweepers in their tracks and criples walls. it can set up with nasty plot on something that can't hurt it. thunderbolt and HP ice are there to hit hard.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Thunder Wave
- Fire Punch
- Iron Head
- Ice Punch

Jirachi is my main annoyer and my paraflincher. with other pokemon on my team having T-wave, it might nott need to set one up, so it can procede to the iron heads or the apporipate move. T-wave and iron head are obvious moves. fire punch takes care of ferro and bug/steels. ice punch is for ground/flying or dragons.

Staraptor (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Double-Edge

This is the newest member of my team. This thing is so powerful, but very underrated. intimidate allows me to switch onto a physical attacker and ruin their sweep. Brave bird and double edge provide STAB attacks, close combat for t-tar and ferro in rain. u-turn allows me to scout.

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Trait: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Recover

This thing is a true tank. Look out ferro and blissy, the new tank is here. with evolite, this becomes a great tank. T-wavee spreads status around. ice beam and thunderbolt form the infamous BoltBeam combo. recover allows me to recover damage from an attack.

Volcarona (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Quiver Dance
- Hidden Power [Ground]

This guy is awesome. despite the 4x stealth rock weakness, it still rules todays metagame. quiver dance lets me set up for a sweep. Fiery dance can raise mt sp. attack while I'm at it. bugg buzz makes dual stab. lastly HP ground helps with opposing fire types and with rock types as well.

That is all. if there is any threats I should look for, tell me and I will put it on here. thanks for reading and rate please!

Excadrill - I really hate this asshole. in sandstorm, he almost detroys my team. can I get advice on how to deal with sandshit here?

Wow, what a terrible post above mine...

Anyways, getting the Paralysis Excadrill is one decent way of removing it from the equation. As you already have Thunderwave on Porygon2 I would like to recommend a small change to your Jirachi which should also help with your slight Dragon weakness. This isn't a counter to Excadrill but I often have people bringing him in on a predicted wish or protect.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 216 SDef / 40 Spd
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Protect

To tell you the absolute truth. With out a sturdy Physical wall who can put down SE damage your team is just weak to Excadrill on the whole. If you can justify switching out Staraptor for Gliscor then I would strongly advise it. I'll provide a set I like for consideration.

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake

The little lady Gliscor should makle all your dreams come true. To be honest it's utility against all but the most potent of Physical attackers is astounding. It's often the difference between a heavy defeat and a 6-0 in my favour, try it.

Excadrill be immune to T-wave dawg.

I'm still pretty much a lurker here until I'm better at the game, so I usually just don't post at all, but that team doesn't seem to mesh very well. It seems to me like you just took a bunch of stuff you like and threw it together.

As JolteonFTW said, excadrill is immune to paraysis. could make a weather inducer to counter other weather teams ( like use ninetailsfor drought) but then it becomes dream world and stuff, but then I have to get rid of a pokemon on my team. When I get home today, I'll try that gliscor. I'll also try body slam insted of T-wave on jirachi. Porygon2 can take hits from excadrill, but it requires a lot of team work to take it down.
