RU ready?

Hey there smogon peoples! I just joined smogon today and here is an RU team I've been testing for a while.
When testing the team, I wanted to make an offensive team, but not just throw some sweepers on and stuff.
I wanted to use specs yanmega, a top threat in RU that I got demolished by one game.
I also wanted a viable lead, than can do some damage late game, I threw in an variation or someones alakazam I've seen.
I now needed a rapid spinner. Blastoise my 2nd favorite pokemon, looked like a good one, and fit the niche perfectly.
I realized I had a fairly fast team, but I wanted a scarfer to be sure, a mixed honchrow, is not the fastest of things, but the scarf makes up for it.
I needed a counter to Yanmega, and other bug PKMN. I've lurked a long time for a counter, and came up with a CB Entei. Lastly, I wanted to make use of a great pokemon, Lilligant.
Thus the team was born

Alakazam (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast
Okay, I originally had an anti lead, but I am testing this. A sub CM set can be so deadly, I mean psychic hits HARD! I run it over psyshock for 10 more BP, and that it can hit phys walls too. I only set up with this thing when cress is eliminated.

Entei @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Stone Edge
- Toxic
The ultimate yanmega counter, CB extremespeed does a heck of a lot to yanmega. Flare blitz would kill if he's at enough HP. Stone edge if for flying types, HP grass, is for quag/gastro/ and rhy bros.Standard sweeper EV spread is the best for this guy, he's a real glue to the team and I don't know what I'd do without him.

Lilligant (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sleep Powder
- Petal Dance
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Quiver Dance
She is just amazing, Petal dance after a quiver did 97% to a weezing, and own tempo leaves confusion useless. HP rock + PD is great against anything but steel, which I can sleep and set up on, then ko after a couple quivers.
I might consider running fire or ice, if someone lists why, otherwise this is the perfect late-game sweeper.
469Yanmega.png

Yanmega (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Tinted Lens
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power
Ever since I lost to this thing I HAD to use it. Tinted lens explains it all, bug buzz does a shit ton to everything, air slash for coverage. Running HP fire over u-turn now, because ferro is a pain, even with an entei, I don't want too much iron barbs damage on it. Giga drain for rhymons, and gastro. Timid because I can. Again, standard sweeper spread to do the most damage.

Blastoise_anime_RE_The_Opposite_Post-s637x479-170170.jpg

Blastoise (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 46 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- Roar
- Scald
- Ice Beam
Ahhh... Blastoise... my favorite...
I needed a spinner badly, for entei honch and yanmega, and this guy came through, rapid spin is obvious, roar to phase out setup threats, surf is great because's i'm meant to take hits, it's pretty powerful in torrent range, ice beam is for coverage. EV spread so I can take hits, and so surf is powerful still. Bold nature because above.
ferroseed.jpg

Ferroseed (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 188 HP / 68 Def / 252 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Thunder Wave
What can I say? Ferro is a bitch to take down, why not use it? Please send a good EV spread, I just had this to get a lot of defenses mixed, leech seed + protect for STALL Stealth rock because obvious, and twave to cripple stuff to take down with mega. I love this guy, he walls everything except for fire, and if he's at low health barbs can really save me. I kinda want a strong priorty to take them down! OH WAIT ENTEI! <3 you entei

There you have it, my first RU team. Thanks for reading and I appreciate the rates. I have a big problem with Stunkfist though, can't seem to kill it. D:
Any tips?

Maybe you'd want something else over Toxic on your Entei? I mean he is choiced...

I don't know where, but perhaps Stealth Rock may be of a use in your team.

-Replace Toxic on Entei, Yanmega counters Cress anyway (Specs Bug Buzz does 55-65% on Calm max HP/ max Sp. Def Cress), run HP Grass so you can hit Rhyperior/Rhydon (it does 47-55% to Rhyperior and 50-60% on Rhydon, both with max HP and 0 Sp. Def, not a OHKO but still an awesome chunk to them)
-HP Fire over Rock on Lilligant. Why? FERROSEED FERROSEED FERROSEED. (and Tangela, but still)
-Put HP Fire on Yanmega > U-Turn, again: FERROSEED FERROSEED FERROSEED. Max HP/ max Sp. Def takes 31-36% from Air Slash. Yea. This thing doesn't fuck around.

Anyways, good team. Just watch out for Agility Porygon-Z and you'll do fine.

Modest Specs Tinted Lens Mega gets KOs that Timid doesn´t, so i would run Modest (I actually do use modest specslens mega lol). I would run Scald over Surf on Blastoise for the burn chance to cripple physical sweepers. That Alakazam set is very strange, and I can´t see it being effective more than once due to the surprise factor. I would recommend SubCM Alaka with Psyshock as it destroys CM Cress and can kill many things even after one Calm Mind. Also, I am seconding Stealth Rock, as without it, your sweepers fail to even 2HKO. Unfortunately, I am not sure where to fit that in your team, but some good users of Stealth Rock are Rhyperior, Gligar, Clefable, Claydol (who can also spin) etc.

lol @ hp grass when giga drain has more BP and recovery.
I have entei for ferroseed and tangela, and since tangelia is physical bulky, I have mega. @Chanazn I'll try out modest. Alakazam is more of a lead, I can show you how he works on PO! Anyways I'll test these out. @Lightz911 hey its griffsports. :P also I put toxic, to cripple walls, because entei's movepool is rather shallow, do you have amother suggestion?

Entei doesn't get Giga Drain. Sorry about the awful clarity, I meant Yanmega should get HP Fire and Entei should get HP Grass. And while you do have Entei, its always a good idea to have more than one answer to common pokes.

Oh, sorry, should I change the nature? On entei? I am trying out hp fire on yanemga, and ferroseed in place of honchkrow, the speed loss isn't that much of a diff, I am liking it.

You literally can't. The only way to get an Entei with ExtremeSpeed and Flare Blitz is through an event where every one given out was Adamant.
Ouch... is it still a good idea?
I like toxic in case i'm about to lose to a wall and can bring in, another pokemon to further weakin eat, I haven't seen many rhyperiors. I mean I have lilligant... and giga drain on mega!

Gastrodon, Quagsire, and the Rhymons fear HP Grass more than Toxic.
Cresselia with Rest has become incredibly popular.
All that's left is Ferroseed and Munchlax, and Ferroseed is immune.

And HP Grass 2HKO's Gastrodon, Quagsire, and the Rhymons, even with no investment. And they are a lot more likely to switch in to Entei than Yanmega or Lilligant, so you can get a surprise KO.

Grass isn't immune to grass, only leech seed. I'll post the changes.

This is a fairly good team, I have to say. On Lilligant, the choice between HP Rock and HP Fire is tough. Rock lets you get through Moltres, which is something that will decimate your team otherwise, while Fire lets you kill Ferroseed as has been mentioned before. Personally I like Giga Drain over Petal Dance, but that's just survivability over sheer power and is total up to you.

Your team is fairly weak to CB Entei if Blastoise goes down, and I would consider Eviolite Gligar over Ferroseed. He gives you some sweet immunities, including ground and electric (and even keeps the toxic immunity with his ability), and can also set up Stealth Rock and the like. However, Gligar can counter all Enteis much better and takes away one of your fire weaknesses.

You shouldn't be using setup moves on a Choiced Pokemon. Since Entei lacks a particularly decent Physical movepool, I'd say ditch the negative Special Attack stat. If you're adamant about keeping the nature, (LOL) Then I'd suggest you replace the Choice Band with a Life Orb so you can have setup moves.

I'll test out gligar, although I loooovveee ferroseed.

It's not that he's refusing to, it's that Entei with any nature but Adamant can't have ExtremeSpeed or Flare Blitz. And no, Life Orb makes it die incredibly fast, even without entry hazards. Entei is meant to stay and threaten pokes throughout the match.
