why don't many people use him? I mean, I haven't seen him in any RTMs at all. People always try to find a way to counter it, but by the looks of it, nobody is using him!

You're just looking in the wrong places, Heracross pops up a lot. However, it isn't used as much as it would be if every team didn't have multiple counters.

255 Attack (max Adamant, -1 due to Intimidate) Heracross Stone Edge on 332/196 (4 EVs/min) Salamence:

min 57%
avg 62%
max 67%
aka between 188 and 205 damage

Same statistics but from 383 Attack (no Intimidate due to whatever reason):

min 85%
avg 92%
max 100%
aka between 282 and 332 damage

Salamence has a 1 in 37 (about 3%) chance of dying in one hit from that not taking miss or critical hit into account. I don't see much of a point in this thread further...but we don't need more than one person saying the same thing really.
