Route 224 can only be gotten after the Elite 4. Backtrack from the exit from Victory Road and it's in a door to the upper-right of the map.

Simple question:

Magikarp + Power Weight = 5 HP EVs.
(Magikarp + Power Weight) * Pokerus = 10 HP EVs?

Reduce the EVs to 0 with the EV reducing berries, then put 0 for the EVs.

Oh, ok!

I have a question. What are the best EVs for CB Floatzel?

And how do I get that lady that needs her suite key out of the way? Also, how do I open that locked door at canalave?

you can find the suite key a couple steps behind the "hotel office"

as for CB floatzel, youll probably want to just go with straight up 6 hp/252 atk/252 speed.

Both Sky Plate and Zap plate are underground only

EDIT: You can get everstones underground too, but medicham are common around acuity lake(among other places) so I dont see what the problem is in finding one.
Why only those two though? :/ It seems kinda strange.

Murkrow learns pursuit at level 7 and abomasnow learns ice punch through the move relearner. Then just get in a double battle and sketch them. Takes a little time but you only have to do it once.

Can you or someone elaborate more on this?

How can I get into a double battle?

Also more questions...
How does Pokerus work, I know it's a virus and it's properties, but how is it given to other Pokemon?
Can the Macho Brace be found in DP?
EVs are given to a pokemon that gain EXP from that certain Pokemon right, so if I use exp.share will the exp.shared pokemon get the EV as well?

yea. make sure you go outside the back entrance to it. its right near it.

im sure of this since i found it right behind the office.

Is this Azelf worth keeping?

Lv. 50
Lax Nature
Stats and IVs:
HP: 146 (22-23)
At: 141 (22-23)
Df: 96 (26-27)
SA: 140 (20-21)
SD: 74 (16-17)
Sp: 135 (30-31)

I've been trying for a Hasty one (mostly because I don't have a Timid Abra for Synchronize), but this one looks solid. Is it good enough even with the bad nature? Is a +Sp nature that important?

I don't think anyone will blame me for not looking through the whole thread to see if this has been asked:

How do traits change as pokemon evolve? Porygon 1&2 can have either Trace or Download as their traits. Porygon-Z can have Adaptive or Download. Would I need to evolve a Trace Porygon 2 if I wanted the Adaptive trait? Or would it be a 50/50 chance on the trait I got, or something else?

Edit: While I'm at it, what's a good nature for Uxie? I'm not interested in using it right now, so I don't know much about it (and there's no discussion thread), but I may use it in the future and I obviously only have one chance to decide on a nature. Until the time comes when I want to use it, I need it for the National Dex.

I think Bold or Calm would work well. Mine's Bold - boost those strong defenses.

What about Azelf? (See two posts up)

In the Battle Tower, will I ever win more than three battle points per round. It's going to be very tedious for me to get all the items I want.

The +Speed nature is very important, yes.

What type of team is effective in the Battle Tower (e.g. physical sweeper, special wall, special sweeper; three mixed sweepers, etc.)?

Also, I've yet to attempt the Battle Tower, but I've been breeding for a tough Gyarados for a few days. Is looking for perfect or near-perfect IV Pokemon essential for the Battle Tower, or is it just necessary to have a balanced team?

Ok. So I've been hovering around Route 203 the past 3 days searching for Abras of various natures [mainly for Palkia]. I've finally found a Modest Synchronize [female no less], but right afterwards I also found a Female Timid Abra. However, it is Inner Focus. So my questions are...

If I breed the Timid Abra and give it an Everstone, will the baby always have Inner Focus? Or will it have a chance at Synchronize?

Also, should I even bother or can I just settle on using the Modest Abra on Palkia?

Did you use the tracking device?

I think its different in all games...

Oh, and which is better, Floatzel, Delcatty, or Ampharos? I know they are totally different Pokemon, but I need to use at least one on my standard team. ^.^

And what level should my Pokemon be for the E4? Mine are level 55-ish right now.

Sorry for so many questions~~

And I got a Timid Azelf... who wants it?

Floatzel looks like the best one of the three, but Gyarados overshadows it...

That's fine, as long as you have plenty of Revives/Potions. I know someone who defeated the E4 with only one guy in the 50s. x_x

yes. just walk around and youll find it. it should not be too far from the office though.

out of those, floatzel.

55-60 is good imo.

Ok, thanks for answering my questions, Judgement and Steeler36!~

And what if I add Rapidash to that list?

And why is Floatzel outclassed by Gyarados again?

I'm so question-y today...

You can handle the Elite 4 at surprisingly low levels, as long as you have items and some strategy (in my case, Yawn whoring to buy healing time). My first (and currently only) Hall of Fame team is:

Torterra- 52
Graveller- 44
Gastrodon- 49
Luxray- 50
Uxie- 50
Mismagius- 47

And, since this is my Hall of Fame team, that means they advanced through levels over the course of this. So, as long as you stock up a bit and play smart, 55+ should be fine.
