I hear that using Wifi, you can battle with low level Pokemon and have them instantly (for that battle) bumped up to level 100. Is this possible using standard DS to DS wireless, or is it a Wifi only ability? If you can do it DS to DS, is there anything special to do to activate it?
 
i think you can set lvls to 50 or 100. i think in the guide book, it shows text options in the union room and i could've swore that one word/words was lvl 50. so yes.
 
Can anybody explain to me how IVs are passed when breeding? Like, do they only come from the Male? Female? A combination of the two? Is it possible to have them come from only one if it is indeed a combination? What are the chances of IVs being passed? I'm pretty clueless here x(
 
sorry for all of the questions, but i can't find my shuckle anywhere in the pal park. where is it located at? i've tried the grass, mountain grass, forest, lake, and ocean. is there some smashable rock that i'm missing or what?
 
Hmmkay, I hate to sound like a n00b, but it's been over a year since I've EV trained something so I feel justified. Let's say I'm EV training a Luvdisc, and come up against a Fearow (+2 Speed EVs). But Luvdisc can't kill anything, so then I switch in Garchomp and KO the opposing Poké.

Would the EVs be divided and distributed like exp.?
Like, would each Pokémon gain 1 Speed EV or 2?

2 EVs, EVs are not divided.
 
Choice Band is a an item that increases a Pokemon's attack by 1.5(I think) but only allows them the use of one move.

Choice Specs does that same but with special attack,.
 
Other than breeding with an XD Magcargo or it's offspring, does anyone who can breed with slugma learn Heat Wave?
 
If your pokemon has two hearts of happiness (or more, if that's possible?0 on the happiness checker, then it'll be able to get the footprint ribbon. Like all ribbons, it means nothing, just an indicator of something.

I guess if you didn't have the happiness checker on your poketch and you wanted to see if your pokemon was happy enough to evolve you could see if it could get the ribbon? :/

Also, could someone please visit my thread and give me some advice on my movesets? X_X
 
Where do I get the Choice Specs? I here that they are obtained similarly to how you catch Drifloon in that you can only get them at a certain time/day of the week, but I don't know where or when.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found out.

No; almost all other Heat Wave users are in the Ground breeding group.

Keep in mind that Flamethrower's better accuracy is usually preferred to Heat Wave's insignificant extra power.

You have to go to the move relearner for Dragonite to learn Thunderpunch or Fire Punch.

If it did learn these moves via level-up, they would be listed at Level 55, like Wing Attack.
 
Anyone know where to find EQ in the Wayward cave? I can see an area I can't reach when I first walk in there, but, obviously, don't know how to access it. Serebi says its in the wayward cave, but I can't find it.
 
you need to go under the bridge to the left of the entrance, theres a secret entrance with some bike hops and at the end is earthquake
