INTRODUCTION
--------------------------
Four score and seven years ago, the world's most essential and genius formula was created. It went something like this: When O is Outrage and S is opposing steel pokemon, O - S = WIN. For those of you who are more visual learners, here is a basic flowchart that demonstrates the equation to perfection.

A Closer Look
---------------------------
---------------------------

Haxorus @ Choice Scarf
- Mold Breaker
- 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe
- Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Special Attack]
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
I feel like I could just post this pokemon's stats here and let them do the talking. Though I had a solid idea of who I wanted on this team, Haxorus was probably the only pokemon with no danger of being eliminated. Its massive attack made sure of that. Haxorus’ attack stat is just under the equivalent of a Banded Flygon’s, however it isn’t threatened by Gengar, Rotom-W, Weezing, etc. seeing as Mold Breaker breaks past levitate, setting up a new dimension to the number of pokemon Haxorus can dispose of. Once you take steel types out of the picture, Haxorus should do a substantial amount to almost any pokemon in the OU metagame with an Outrage. People more often than not assume all Haxoruses (Haxori?) come pre-packaged with a Choice Band, and send in their fastest poke to take it out, not even considering the fact that Haxorus could be scarfed, outspeeding nearly everything.
.....
EVs & Nature:
252 Attack and an Adamant nature is pretty self explanatory. Its already scarfed so Jolly isn’t necessary, especially with an odd 97 base speed. Either its gonna outspeed or its not, so long as it hits hard I’m fine.
.....
Considered Changes
Not much you can do with this set as its pretty standard, but any changes are welcome.
---------------------------
Latios @ Choice Scarf
- Levitate
- 4 HP | 252 SpAtk | 252 Spe
- Modest (+Special Attack, -Attack)
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
Latios is one of those pokemon that doesn’t get as much use as it should, but then there is one game that, without Latios, I wouldn’t stand a chance. A lot of times its just Pursuit fodder for Scizors, allowing Magnezone to come in a do its SubChargeBeam stuff, but other times completely screws my opponent over. It’s the fastest thing on the team, and is the only special attacker outside of Magnezone. It fought fierce competition with Hydreigon and Latias, but neither fit the job as well as I had hoped, leaving Latios my best bet. Its moveset is big enough that I could customize it according to the team’s needs, which basically meant missing out on Hidden Power Fire for Thunderbolt. Whenever I have a free switch-in, Latios is my automatic choice, as it outspeeds most offensive threats, and can cripple the defensive ones.
.....
EVs & Nature:
Just like Haxorus, and about everything else on the team, its EVs and Natures are as standard as they get, made only to do as much damage to as many things as possible.

Considered Changes
Hidden Power Fire would be nice, but I usually want Magnezone to take care of steel types anyways. Maybe a Timid nature?
---------------------------
Dragonite @ Choice Band
- Multiscale
- 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe
- Adamant Nature (Attack, -SpAtk)
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
Dragonite was a given on the originaly 4Drag2Mag, and Multiscale hasn’t hurt its chances of making the team a second time at all. The conflicting part of this pokemon though, is the Choice Band. The purpose of 4Drag2Mag is for speed. Power is supposed to be worked within their stats, but speed comes from the scarf. My problem with this was with Extremespeed and Multiscale, a scarf just didn’t seem to...work. Or rather, if worked, but a Choice Band worked a whole lot better. Unlike in previous generations, Dragonite can actually stand to take a hit now. While I still value its speed, it can still be slower than a variety of opponents, and KO them when it never could with a scarf. That argument on its own wasn’t enough to convince me, but Extremespeed seemed terribly redundant. Even with a Scarf, Dragonite is slower than a Weavile, so an Ice Shard would still KO me after Stealth Rock damage. Honestly, it has just seemed to work better for me. If you guys have any other suggestions on how to make a Scarfed set work, trust me, I’m all ears.
....
EVs & Nature:
252 Atk...Adamant...252 Speed...GAH its supposed to be powerful. I made it powerful. Thus the spread was born.

Considered Changes
Scarfed set if I can make it work.
---------------------------
Flygon @ Choice Scarf
- Levitate
- 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Speed
- Jolly Nature (+Adamant, -Special Attack)
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
Flygon used to be a Salamence, until I was faced with the miserable truth: Salamence can’t run a Scarfed set effectively, or not in the way I needed it to work. Salamence was powerful, but Stealth Rock weakness was just too much to bear. Flygon was the obvious next choice. Its known for running its Choiced sets, and for being incredibly effective with them. U-Turn worked amazingly well with the team and Flygon is the best dragon to abuse it. It has a decent attack stat, and having STAB Earthquake helped incredibly in its placement on the team. Not much else to say
....
EVs & Nature:
56 HP may not seems all too amazing, but it does get me all around bulk without dominating most of the EVs
72 Atk...I have Dragon Dance, not to mention 125 base Attack. Who cares if I don't max it out? The lack of power is definitely worth the extra playing time on the field I get.
96 Def, just like for HP, only increases upon my already incredible bulk.
184 Speed lets Gyarados have a bit more in its only lacking stat (bar spc. attack), and increases the speed I gain from DD.
*EVs are bound to change in the near future. These were from Generation 4, with Generation 4 calculations. I'll try to change these in the next 24 hours, but if anyone has a better spread then that'd be great!*

Magnezone @ Leftovers
- Magnet Pull
- 36 HP | 252 SpAtk | 200 Spe
- Timid (+Speed, -Attack)
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
Its currently the best pokemon for the job as a steel killer...it has a set JUST for killing steel types. It does its job VERY well, and doesn't take hits too poorly either. It can outspend most varieties of Scizor, and is the bane of every Ferrothorn that doesn't run Bulldoze. I only have 2 pokemon affected by Spikes, and one of those pokemon is Magnezone who probably won't switch back in. The point is, that I can take my time killing off the Ferrothorn if they've already gotten their Stealth Rocks up. The only real steel types I have trouble with are Lucario and Calm Mind Jirachi under rain, but all in all it does an extraordinary job at getting rid of what it needs to. If there are no steel types on the opposing side, it makes nice EQ fodder, letting one of my dragons come in safely to start raging.
....
EVs & Nature:
It needs to take a hit, and hit back harder. The spread does that quite nicely in my opinion.

Considered Changes
None as of now.
---------------------------
Dugtrio @ Focus Sash- Arena Trap
- 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe
- Adamant Nature [+Attack, -Special Attack]
- Moveset:
.....
Why this Pokemon?:
I won't lie. I'm pretty ashamed that I couldn't make magneton work. I mean, when it worked it WORKED really well. Set up a sub on their switch to Choice Banded Metagross, let them get rid of my sub with Earthquake as I use Magnet Rise, and then laugh as I destroy their metagross with Hidden Power Fire. But this team needed one thing: Stealth Rocks. I feel like you could get away without Stealth Rocks last generation, and even occasionally in 5th gen. But if my opponent got up a Dragon Dance with a Dragonite, and they were still at full health with their Multiscale still intact, I would simply rage quit. Even if I could get past the Dragonite, it would leave my team broken and intact. Not only this, but there were so many pokemon who would be left with about 5% of their HP left, and not having Stealth Rocks would cost me the game. It was this same topic I was thinking about one day when I had my Magnezone out on the field. Suddenly my opponent sent out their Dugtrio...simple solution: switch out. Oh thats right, I couldn't, because of Arena Trap. I watched as the Dugtrio set up Stealth Rocks, KOd me with Earthquake, Sucker Punched my Latios for a clean KO, then watched as Dragonite's Outrage brought him down to 1 HP due to Focus Sash, and then watched as a Stone Edge took down my health. There was no denying it, I needed Dugtrio. It didn't fit into a roll as a steel killer as well as I had hoped, however if I could find a way to make magnezone last longer, I believe I could make it work. I tried alternatives as well: Eviolite Nosepass with Stealth Rocks and Hidden Power Fire...only thing that did was make my opponents laugh to death. So this was more of a story on why I DIDN'T pick any other pokemon, but I feel like it was the most effective way to explain why I had to use Dugtrio.
EVs & Nature:
252 Attack/Adamant nature is just to do damage. Its not necessarily a pokemon with sweeping potential, but it can cover any damage that my dragons can't.
252 Speed makes me faster than quite a few pokemon. Its best stat is speed so I might as well play to its strengths.

Considered Changes
None at the moment, though I'm completely open to suggestions.
So there it was. I still feel like the chart you saw above could of sufficed in replacing this entire RMT, but nonetheless...ANYWAYS. This team did peak 74th on PO, but its far from perfect. I got very lucky while moving up the ranks, facing minimal Mamoswine who wreck this team, as every poke on the team is weak to one of its STABS. My opponents usually don't realize it, but fierce switching between Tyranitar and Gliscor can be problematic, and usually result in a mad prediction game, which this team is quite poor at. So now that I've wasted the last 15 minutes of your life, it's time for you to ignore that English paper for 15 more minutes and give me your feedback! Thanks a lot guys!
