You dig for the odd keystone. You should get it eventually.

There are no move Tutors in D/P I think. If you are thinking about the Move Deleter he is in Canaclave(I think).

The move Relearner is in Pastoria City.

I really dislike Adamant Infernapes, I think that a speed nature is necessary to abuse it.
There are two move tutors. A Elemental Hyper Beam one and a Draco Meteor one.

I know, but it's all I've got to work with. So I'm assuming Max Speed to make up for the nature? What would I invest the other 256 in?

What's a good Bronzong moveset for being a special wall? EVs, nature and moveset? Thanks.

And how does Gyro Ball work? The faster the foe's speed, the better? Can anyone post a chart for it?

Well this is really fucked up. I thought the everstone trick just didn't work with Pal Parked pokemon and I have a Bold Chansey with an everstone and a Roselia all caught in Pearl .

Out of 10 eggs I didnt even get a single bold one. -_-

Or am i just not lucky?

Max Stat Help plz

Alright everyone, I got a Poygon-Z [w00t] and I bred it [it meaning I bred porygon first] til I got perfect in spd and sp att. Now, with 31 perfect IVs in SPatt, and fully EV trained in sp att, it'll be 405 or 404,too lazy to check.

I rare candied it up to level 100 and it came out at 365. Now, do rare candies not use all the EVs? And I also used enough berries to reduce it's sp att alll the way, and all it took was 10 berries. That means it only had 100 EVs in SPatt? I used 10 Calciums and fought gastly+power ank.+pkrs.

I'm really confused. :s

Was the nature Modest?

And if your EVS are greater than 110 the EV reducing berries reduce EVS by 100.

Heh. I'm not that denw0. If you see our names, I use a zero '0' instead of an O in the denwO. Not that much of a difference, but w/e. lolz

PP rocks btw.

About my PZ's stats. It takes 10-11 berries to get it back to nothing, so does that mean I only have 200 EVs in the stat? :/ And to clarity, fighting Gastly with Power Lens+pkrus equals 10 EVs right?

If it takes 10-11 berries to go back to nothing, you only have about 100 EVs in that stat. That's why his SA is only 365.

EDIT: Assuming it's got a max SA IV, it should have 104 EVs in there.

Some other people have said that Pokerus doubles the EVs gained from the Power items, but if you fought 25 Gastlies with that setup and still wound up short, maybe it's not the case...

Sorry if this was asked, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. Anyways...

... My question is: If a Ditto transforms into a pokemon and is defeated as that pokemon, do my pokemon get the 1 HP EV from Ditto or the EVs from the pokemon it transformed as? I'm trying to get a somewhat easy way to train, and Dittos seem like a good way.

How many egg moves/TM moves via breeding can be passed down at once? All four?

(I ask because I'm planning on breeding Skarmory and Spiritomb and wondering if it's possible to create one "master" Murkrow with Roost/Drill Peck/Whirlwind/Taunt and a "master" Spiritomb with something like Calm Mind/Will-O-Wisp/Taunt/Torment so that regardless of what real sets I eventually decide on, I wouldn't have to waste a TM again at any point.)

IIRC, the EVs gained are that of the Pokemon it transformed into, at least in 3rd gen.

@Jiggy37: Yup, you can pass down four moves at once.

Excellent, then; time to get cracking.

And I'll be using Spikes. But I'd like to try different Skarmory sets to see how they work, e.g. Drill Peck/Whirlwind/Roost/Spikes on one, Drill Peck/Whirlwind/Taunt/Spikes on another, etc. It's just that Spikes is a level-up move, so I would never need to worry about passing that.

Yea, i tried using my male gyarados with my female bagon, but it says they don't like each other, would it work if the bagon was a salamence instead for hydro pump? What else can breed with bagon to get hydro pump?

It doesn't matter if it's a salamence or a bagon. If the day-care guy says they don't like eachother, they will still make eggs, just not very quickly. The only time two pokes won't breed is when the day-care man says they "prefer to play with others".

I really need this question answered;

Can a Pokemon change its Pokemon ability when it evolves?

This is in reference to Rhyhorn, Rhydon, and Rhyperior.
I am trying to breed a Rhyperior with Solid Rock ability and good IV's/Nature.
The only problem is that Solid Rock is not a Pokemon ability that niether Rhyhorn or Rhydon have.

Rhyhorn: Rock Head & Lightning Rod
Rhydon: Rock Head & Lightning Rod
Rhyperior: Solid Rock & Lightning Rod

Common sense tells me that if you have a Rhyhorn with Rock Head, he'll evolve into a Rhydon with Rock Head, then a Rhyperior with Solid Rock. and if you have a Rhyhorn with Lightning Rod, it'll evolve into a Rhydon and Rhyperior with Lightning Rod...

Although I somehow feel that during the transition from Rhydon to Rhyperior, the ability Rhyperior gets is random. Basically the problem I have at the moment, is that I got an Impish Rhyhorn with 30 HP IV's and 31 Def IV's, which is exactly what I want... except... He has the Lightning Rod Ability. Is there any way for me to get Solid Rock on this Rhyhorn is I evolve it into Rhyperior?

If I get a hacked Pokemon in a trade, will my game cart be marked as "tampered with" or can I still use it in Nintendo Events?

Your original thoughs were correct, from what I've heard (and done myself) Lightning rod rhyhorns will always be have lightning rod after they evolve.

I have heard though of people noticing their rhydons gotten via Pal Park changing from Lightning Rod to Hard Rock upon evolution, and Rock Head to Lightning rod. It seems to change randomly when the pokemon's from 3rd Gen.
