I really think that move is stupid xD, i mean, i can see a Houndoom or a Spiritomb thinking bad thoughts but then a Togepi??, a Pichu???

Douglas Dinsdale was the translator I believe. He posts occasionally in the Pokemon Megathread. So yeah, the reason why there are so many "internet lol" references in it is becuase of this guy. Thank him. B) 8)

maybe because of the theory that life started in the water and moved to land? Don't pokemon came from outer space.

makes sense about the translator.
 
Old thread, but after the forum downtime I just feel the need to post this.

When you see the Galactic Grunts confronting the guy selling the honey in Floarama (sp?), the first grunt says, "We MUST have it...to attract Pokemon in great numbers" before he challenges you. Then after you beat the second grunt he says "This guy's tough! I mean really, really tough! Tougher than I can put into words, and I know a lot of words!" Hahaha...
 
I dont have DP yet, but one of my fav lines is from RBY when your character surfs

Ash hopped on Misty

Loled when i first saw that.

^^ The girl at the reception counter of the Canalave Library says that after the earthquake that dried up Lake Valor. At least, I thought it was pretty funny when it happened. Probably because I wasn't expecting the huge letters.

Also, I remember a Galactic Grunt talk who said "meddled" about three times or so. Obviously a reference to the famous Aqua/Magma "I can't believed we got meddled with by some meddling kid!" quote in R/S/E.
 
There's about three things in this game I find hilarious. ;x

Mom: What's up, dear? - Something is just... odd about it.

PALKIA: Gagyagyaah! - I lold at the randomness.

Mr. Backlot: I noticed a cute-eyed PORYGON, which joyously ran over to me.
The PORYGON ran up and gave me a smooch on my cheek... - I'd just love a kiss from a polygonal beak.
 
In the union room, if you choose to chat with the lady who is just standing there, she that it's okay since she has a lot of time on her hands. The way she says it is fairly amusing.
 
I lol'd at Kricketot's/Floatzel's cry, and I love Staraptor's. Golem, Machoke, and Wingull all have awesome battle animations, and Combee actually sounds like a bunch of bees buzzing. The Attack/Restore/Defend Commands' animations are so cool.
 
The battletower Roughneck guy that says something along the lines of "Stop the fighting! It's all about love!" before and after you fight him.

Registeel. Period. When I first saw him, I did a double-take, then LMAO'd for awhile. SEIG HEIL!

Magikarp's pokedex entry made me smile - "It is said to be the world's weakest pokemon. No one knows why it has managed to survive." HOW DARE THEY! DISSING TEH CRITICARP!!
 
This hasn't been mentioned but if you encounter a wild Pelipper in the wild and it uses Swallow or Spit Up w/o Stockpiling it comes up with these error messages:

"Foe Pelipper can't Swallow a thing!"

or

"Foe Pelipper can't Spit Up a thing!"

It's something like that.
 
From the Battle Tower; "Were you smirking at my eight-pack abs!?"

*Eight* pack? What kind of genetic freak are you, lady? Or was that a Dr. McNinja reference?
