Well there have been consistent abbreviations for pretty much everything commonly used, and I figured to reduce both length and ambiguity, someone somewhere along the line would've made some suggestion (like using the original translations) that just stuck.

I have a Smeargle and I want to teach him Stealth Rock and Grass Knot. Does any pokémon (wild or tamed) have these moves, so I could sketch them? If they do, where?

I believe you can do a double battle (use the VS Seeker if you need to), give those moves to your teammate, let them use and Sketch it. Of course, you're still using the TM, but I know there's not anything in the Wild that would get those moves, and same thing with trainers unless you get Smeargle before the Gyms (if thats even possible, Ive never checked if you can get NationalDex pokemon before getting the NationalDex) and get lucky enough to Sketch the right move
 
I forget can you still EV train a level 100 pokemon in D/P? by using some box method or some such... Can I retrain a level 100 by removing its evs completely, then re EV Training it?

Question: if I breed a female pokémon that has some moves its first stage can learn (for example, an Infernape with Flamethrower) with a Ditto, will the offspring Chimchar have FThrower? Does it work if I breed a male pokémon with a Ditto?
I know someone already posted about boltbeaming Starmies, but since it's genderless, I thought it would be better to ask.

Btw, I find it funny how you can get Explosion when you rape the slot machines. >_>
 
If you go up to Azelf or Uxie and lose to them just to get them seen in your Pokedex, and then save your game after, will they have set IVs and nature or will they still be able to change?
 
I'm pretty sure they are set. IVs and nature are always set as soon as you see the pokemon. Works the same with Cresselia. And same with the legendary dogs in Colo and birds in XD.


Oh yeah my questions: if you save infront of the day-care man when he has the egg, are the nature, gender and trait set like in Emerald?

Also about the stupid everstone not-working thingamabob, if I trade two dittos over to Pearl and my shroomish and breed the shroomish with one then the offspring with the other do I get the 50/50 chance of nature inheritance?

Someone tested this by accident and discovered that their stats will rerandomize after you lose to them, so you're safe there.
 
Okay, this would be a huge help for me. I've just bred this:

Porygon - #137 (Timid)
HP: 18 - 19
Att: 7
Def: 25 - 26
SpA: 26 - 29
SpD: 31
Speed: 28

Would someone be so kind as to provide a list of pokemon, if any, who outspeed 28 Spd IV, 252 Spd EV Timid Porygon-Z, but don't outspeed the same thing with 31 IV?

Seriously. I need your opinions on which is generally better because I'm getting it soon.

EDIT: Also, if you lose to a legendary pokemon, like Azelf or Cresselia or Uxie or WHATEVER, what happens to it? Does it disappear for fucking ever?
