I'm pretty sure after you see Azelf it's nature and IVs will be the same as your first encounter with it. The only way to get one after the national dex is to get one in a trade from somebody else to register it in the Sinnoh dex iirc.

If you go up to Azelf or Uxie and lose to them just to get them seen in your Pokedex, and then save your game after, will they have set IVs and nature or will they still be able to change?

No, they change. I purposely died to Uxie the first time around and out of curiosity, I resetted. First it had an Adamant Nature, then it had a Bold or Relaxed.

Okay, I did some tests in Emerald (involving breeding with Ditto), and found out that:
- Male parent with TM moves will pass them to the offspring.
- Genderless parent with TM moves will pass them to the offspring.
- Female parent with TM moves will not pass them to the offspring.
- Neither will pass level-up or tutor moves to the offspring.
I didn't test with egg moves, but I believe they won't be passed to the baby.

Does this changes in D/P? If I teach a good unique TM to a female pokémon, am I doomed?

It appears that now it only works in Japanese copies, and only if the opposing Pokemon switches out while you Pursuit. It was any choice item iirc

I've passes level up moves before. I breed two shroomish and at first they only had absorb, but later eggs had a whole set of moves.

- the same Relicanth as above, with Earthquake instead of Water Gun: baby had Tackle, Harden, Rock Tomb and Earthquake.
Neither Venusaur or Relicanth gained a level, while there.

So... I suppose the babies will only have a level-up move after hatching if their parents learn it while in the Day-Care.
And Relicanth had Rock Tomb because it was a TM move, even though it learns it by level-up (level 15, according to Serebii).

It might be because I was breeding two Shroomish together. I noticed when I was breeding a shroomish with a ditto, it only gets absorb, but when I bred two lv 20s, each shroomish had Stun Spore, Leech Seed, Mega Drain, and Headbutt.

Also, I'm pretty sure moves learned in the centre will not pass, as when I bred drill peck skarmory, at one point skarmory lost drill peck, but it's offspring still got drill peck as long as i kept skarm in there.

This means even a male Machamp with Cross Chop breeding with a Ditto will not produce babies that know Cross Chop, simply because Ditto does not know that move. A Male Machamp breeding with a Female Machamp will produce Machop with Cross Chop, if and only if both the Male and Female Machamp know the move.

TM moves can be passed from the Male, but I'm pretty sure you can't use a Ditto for this ether. I might be wrong on this though, as I haven't bred for moves for awhile.

You sure? In RSE, Fearow only learns Agility after it learns Drill Peck, and in D/P Drill Peck is the absolute last move it learns via level-up. Or maybe Fearow just learned the new move before another egg could be produced? Because I'm pretty sure moves learned and forgotten in the Day-Care center have an impact on the moves that the offspring knows = /

It probably does, I was a little shaky on that. It's fine to teach a non-buyable TM to a Female though, as long as you have some way of replacing it. Some ways of replacing them are using trade bait to get another over WiFi, starting over on another game if you have two DS systems and two copies of Pokemon Pearl/Diamond, or even using the GTS glitch to clone them.

As for when Smogon is down, I usually go outside and have a life. When I don't feel like it though, Serebii is usually my next target. At most I just browse the Dex and Forums though, as I've yet to create an account x)
