+1/+1 Stat Boosts/Drops (Calm Mind, Quiver Dance, Bulk Up, etc.) and +1 Stat Boosts/Drops with Damage (Charge, Close Combat, Low Sweep, etc.) changed from 0 last for at least 4 actions after the usage action before being prone to resetting toward 0.

Quick question about Sucker punch - if the target is frozen the action it's used, but is slated to thaw that action and use a damaging attack, would it work?

Are any other Mibbit users having trouble connecting to #capasb?
It won't connect, and, if I do a channel search for "capasb", nothing comes up.

I feel like an idiot because my first reaction was "Better ask about it on IRC"

So...yeah, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It does, actually. Since then the channels are all set to a mode (+r I believe?) that requires you to have a registered nickname to join. I believe to register your nickname on IRC the command is /ns register password email, and you will get a confirmation email. Then whenever you sign in you will have to use /ns identify password.

Can I fight the same person in two different battles at the same time? Because that's about to happen to me if it does.

EDIT: Well then, time to get on that PM...

According to Whirlwind's attack description here:

Whirlwind: The Pokemon launches a wind of amazing and terrifying force, causing the opponent to lose all sense of its physical and mental state. The shock of the attack resets all of the opponent's stat changes and snaps it out of temporary status as well as other effects like Disable, Taunt, and Torment. In a switch battle, the Pokemon is sent back to its trainer's Poke Ball at the end of the round. The opponent's Pokemon is switched out at random from their remaining Pokemon, however the trainer that commanded Whirlwind must attack first.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 7 | Attack Type: Other | Effect Chance: -- | Typing: Normal | Priority: -6 | CT: Passive

With that being said, the trainer commanding Whirlwind is ordering his attacks second. Specifically on his own Pokemon. Should I tell him to reorder his commands or let him swap out his own Pokemon with Whirlwind?

Despite doing this, I still can't find the channel.

A quick check tells me that the channel has +s which means it doesn't show up by normal means, have no idea why. However, you should still be able to join easily as long as your nick is registered and you have identified.

Can a protective/evasive move be used more than once in a round for instance...
a1 Protect - a2 V-create - a3 Evasive agility

EDIT: Thats what I thought, thanks

So long as they aren't consecutive it's fine.

Protect ~ V-Create ~ Evasive Agility is legal, Protect ~ Evasive Agility ~ V-Create isn't.

Yes they can.

Technically, they can be used on consecutive actions like Protect - Evasive Agility - Detect; it just won't work if the one before was successful (so in this example Protect and Detect would succeed and evasive Agility would fail).

In a battle I'm reffing, one player has a kirlia with synchronize active, and uses will-o-wisp on a pokemon that just used magic coat. Would the coater still be burned from synchronize?
