Got a stupid question to ask (and I feel retarded asking this), as the answer escapes me at the moment and I don't have a means to test for myself.

When you're opponent taunts it locks that Pokemon into attack it, but if you switch will the pokemon you send in be locked into attacking as well? Or will your opponent have to taunt again?

Switching out eliminates taunted status.

help! i need to fill my pokedex but i cannot find pokemon no. 114! where do i have to search for it?(pearl version)

Alright so I used one tamato berry to bring my speed all the way down to 100. With the pokerus and macho brace attached, I battled Fisherman andrew 6 complete times and then once more except only battling 2 Magikarps to gain 252 in speed. So then I used one hp up to max out my evs, except the hp didn't rise. Was this supposed to happen? My evs at that point should have been 252/252/6 after the hp up.

Stat vitamins don't work when the stat they raise already have 100 EVs. If this isn't the case, Its probably because you had less then 10 EV slots available when using the HP Up.

Since you had 3 HP EVs before using the HP up it should definitely have worked (and boost the HP EVs to 6). What level was your pokemon? At a low level those 6 EVs won't show up as an additional stat point.

That isn't the case, my evs were: 252 attack,252 speed, and supposedly 6 hp after using one hp up.

I even did an experiment and used a tamato followed by an hp up and it still doesn't raise its hp. I had to use another to raise its hp.

Whats up with this?

I didn't have any hp evs before the hp up. It was at level 31.

You could always run a stat calculator (like this one http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/Calculators/Stat.aspx) if you know your IVs to see if 6 EVs would make any difference for your Pokemon's HP.
Why wouldn't 6 evs in hp make a difference?

For every 4 evs 1 point in stat is gained correct? I use an hp up on a 252/252 attack and speed trained pokemon and its hp should go up by one level.

I'm really new to ev training, so please bear with me as I try to comprehend the basics.

I have a small question concerning the Klutz ability: does Klutz negate the effect of Macho Brace or any of the "Power" items when EV training? Some of my numbers are coming out a bit odd for my Lopunny, and I wanted to confirm the answer to this before I went any further.

You get that by speaking to the Poketech company president... the name of the company escapes me at the moment, unfortunately, but that is where it is.

Edit: Oh, so it IS called the Poketech company...

Don't worry =) But your stats depends on your level, Base stats, IVs and EVs and unless your at level 100 (or sometimes a bit lower) the full effect of your collected EV won't be visible. It would be a bit broken if you got the same stat boosts at level 1 as on level 100, right? So your pokemon might not see the 1 extra point in HP unless it gains a few more levels.

I'd like to know this as well.

Naturally it can't replace HP, but it's still a good second choice considering Raikou's somewhat limited offensive movepool.

where is the poketech appliance used to find the runners (Cresslia/Mespirit)?
Go and talk to the president of the Pokétch company in Jubilife after collecting a number of Gym Badges (I don't remember the exacty number). It's called the Marking Map.

If you mean in the Sinnohdex, it would be Unown. You have to go to the Solacean Ruins.

Oh yea, I assumed he ment the National Dex.

What balance of speed/hp EV's should I give my Gallade? IV's are 30 HP, 31 Speed. I'm running Thunder Wave as well.
