Choice Specs has 25% more power than Expert Belt, which is likely a significant drop in power. However, Expert Belt will only actually give you a boost if you hit the opponent SE, and Kyurem doesn't have amazing coverage to make use of that.

Good point. Anyway, whats a good check/counter to bulky SD scizor? It gives my team a few problems if I cant get jolteon in in time to HP Fire, which im not 100% sure will OHKO (my damage calculator isnt working lately)

Question that is most likely stupid, but to get it out of my head, I'll post it here:

Does Smack Down prevent the use of Roost?

>.> Yea, it sounds stupid <,<

Nothing prevents the use of Roost except Heal Block. What you're thinking of is a case such as Gravity preventing the use of Fly/Sky Drop

Naughty 4 Atk 240 SpA 252 Spe 8 HP
Naive 56 Atk 196 SpA 252 Spe

I used to be just like that too
I'm sorry to say that I am a bit confused about the natures :[

Can anybody please explain this to me, and, if possible, show me some math?

Thanks very much! :)

Makes sense for me to do it
Naughty 4 Atk 240 SpA 252 Spe 8 HP
Naughty is +Atk -SpD so it's a high damage output
Naive 56 Atk 196 SpA 252 Spe
Naive is +Spe -SpD so it maximizes Speed. This one needs more Attack EVs because its nature doesn't aid Attack

They both fit the requirement you specified though, I checked. And I picked -SpD for the natures to try to keep this Venusaur as balanced as possible to maintain your theme. If you want to keep more Special Defense, you can use Lonely instead of Naughty, or Hasty instead of Naive, those natures are -Def instead

What EVs would I need if I made the nature, say, Hardy? I usually only have a pysical or special attacker, this will be my first mixed Pokemon.

That would leave you with a bulkier, slower version of the 2nd spread, so
Hardy 56 Atk 196 SpA 252 Spe. Seeing how Venusaur isn't tanking any hits on the special side soon with no investment, and most priority is physical, I'd go with boosting a stat (Atk, SpA or Spe) and decreasing SpD.

I guess the reason why I was planning on going with a neutral nature is because the BT/BS is unforgiving and I would like to keep my defenses where they are in case there is any hope of hanging on for dear life.

By the way, are there any numbers that can be pulled up for stats? Like what would Vensaur's stats be at level 50/100 with said EV investments/natures? o.o

Are there a list of rules of what can be used in Nintendo's Random Match up for Black / White?

Or more importantly, is Wish Blissey allowed over Random Match Ups? - Just used Pokemon Generator 3.0.1 to get myself a Wish Blissey, and it won't let me use her in a Random Match. (However if I change Wish to something like Hidden Power, I can use her on my team.)

That shows rules like Species Clause and lack of Sleep and OHKO Clauses, but doesn't show what moves are legal on certain Pokemon. It's possible that Random Wi-Fi is looking for a very specific Wish Blissey that's legal and you somehow hacked yours improperly.

Thanks, I'll look over that.
And it could be looking for a specific Wish-Blissey. If thats the case, and taking data from http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_event_Pokémon_in_2004#PCNY_Wish

A Blissey on Pokegen should look like:
Location: Kanto (or Hoenn)
Level: 5
Date: Dec. 16th 2004
Encounter: Egg/Pal Park/Event
[X] As Egg
Hatched: Kanto
Date: anytime after Dec 16th 2004

But that fails.

In that case, Nintendo probably bans event Pokemon from the NYPC outright. They might do the same thing for all Gen 3 events like Extremespeed Zigzagoon and XD Pokemon.

Thats what I'm starting to think, which is a bit lame. Makes me want to remove Wish Blissey from my team. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the help!

From when I did it, you basically sign up when sign ups start, then an experienced player and chosen for you and he helps you improve your game for a few weeks.

I did it almost a year ago, so things may have changed. It's probably the same concept though.

I'm having the same problem with my rest/talk milotic, First she didn't pass the pokemon checker because you have to make her appear traded as a feebas and let it evolve holding prism scale. Now she won't pass the checker because of sleep talk. Is rest talk illegal now or something?

I'm completely new to the competitive game what does uu ubers ru and nu stand for?

UU=underused

RU= rarely used

NU= Never used

Ubers= doesn't stand for anything, it's a ban list for OU (overused, if you were wondering).

Glad I could help, but you could have found out the same info by browsing the site or googling (both of which would take only a couple of minutes).

EDIT: I'm on a roll.

If it isn't windows you may need a program called wine bottler (it's free) to download it. If it is in fact mac then do a quick google search on how to download PO onto a mac and there should be several results from pokemon-online.eu. One those should have a fully blown tutorial if I remember correctly.

To your final question, ResTalk is on the Milotic analysis so it's legal as far as I'm concerned.
