No, it takes a Vaporeon's base stats, adjusts them for level, and then adjusts them for the EVs and IVs you have.

It's the same thing as if you had a Vapoeron at level 1 and got the same IVs and EVs.

Baton pass passes stat boosts and subs. U-Turn doesn't.

Numerous people have told me that Dark Pulse and HP Fighting works better on a Porygon-Z than Boltbeam. Anyone mind explaining this to me? I thought Boltbeam was suppose to cover almost anything, so I don't see why it shouldn't be used.

I remember reading this at some point, but dang, for the life of me I can't remember. Critical Hits ignore all positive stat boosts, correct? Or do they just ignore stat boosts in general? Like would a Suicune that CM'd six times critical hitting a Regigigas with Hydro Pump that had gotten a Defense drop from Superpower six times with a critical hit ignore the stat boosts from both of them, or just Suicune because it was positive? I'd assume the opposite would be true though (Ie a positive six defense boost and a negative six attack boost).

yes, because not all IVs the offspring get are passed down, just 3. The others are random.

edit- minister, I think it just ignores the foe's positive changes. Dont know for sure though

I think Hera's the only one who resists both, but as AJC said, you can Tri-Attack him...
