Magmortar or Infernape?

I dont know which fire type to choose for a team with..(or any team)
Gyarados, Electivire, Rhyperior, Dragonite, Leafeon
Evs will be maxed out in speed and spec atk/atk.
These are the two choices i have to choose from...I dont plan on breeding either again any time soon at least. So the natures are set.

Magmortar modest
Item: expert belt
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
HP ice
Crosschop

Infernape Jolly
Item: expert belt
Flare Blitz
Close Combat
Thunder Punch
Stone Edge

Which one would you fear more, Magmortar is a bit slower but he can hit super effective on almost anything, and infernape is nice and fast, but I dont realy like his moveset as much as Mag. Should i choose speed over moveset or not? (No one make fun of me for
having the laughing stock
post of the year either^^.)
 
I would personally choose Magmortar. It has TB, which does more damage to Gyarados than Infernapes TP. It has a way of SE Hitting Dragons, unlike Infernape. And Magmortars Spd Isnt THAT bad.
 
Alright, i think magmortar is much cooler anyways so ill go with him. I just hope Cross Chop hits when it counts >.<
 
Mixape > Magmortar. You could even do this:

Infernape @Life Orb

- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- HP Ice

Something along those lines.

How does Magmortar hit Dragons for SE in a way that Infernape can't? Infernape can HP Ice too, and can also use Stone Edge, which Mag cannot do.
