Description:

Well, this is my first team on BW2 metagame and I really like it much, I would like to continue laddering with it to see all its potential and with position on the ladder can it achieve, but I am going to travel this Friday(July 13) and will be out for 1 or 2 months. It’s so much like a common Rain team right now with Double Genie-Tornadus and Thundurus. SubPunch Breloom and Azumarill complete the Offensive core, than Politoed and Forretress as support Pokémons, summoning Drizzle, using Stealth Rock and spinning.

Thundurus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

-Choice Scarf Thundurus-Therian as my usual lead. I am using the Modest Nature even with the fact that I am going to be outspeed by the Scarf Timid Set, but I can either way stay and have mind games with the opposing Thundurus as Scarf Hidden Power Ice does not OHKO before Rocks.

-Grass Knot is very good because Thundurus can came, threaten it's going to Volt Switch/Thunder, the opposing came with Mamoswine and you just OHKO it if not Sashed.

Tornadus-Therian @ Choice Specs
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Sleep Talk

-THE MONSTER, Yeah, just Hurricane Tornadus-Therian, that works as a Sleep receiver against Amoonguss and Breloom. Regenerator is also a incredible ability as Tornadus-Therian can switch out and in so many times and even after being at a low life with a couple of switches is an entirely new fresh pokémon.
-I use just 1 attack because really, that’s all Tornadus-Therian need, I really hate Focus Blast and I would NEVER use it, even If I need to use it, I just don’t rely on a 70% accuracy move, the only move it lack is U-Turn, but staying at a Breloom or some other Pokémon and know you are going to Hurricane with 100% of the time is just so good.
-Still a choiced Pokémon with Sleep Talk is not very good because you cannot achieve a full sweep with it as Tornadus is going to wake up.

politoed_water_gun.png

Politoed @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SDef
Bold Nature
- Perish Song
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald
-Just a Bulky Politoed to maintain Rain because it’s need for my team to work.
-Protect to help recovering and keeping it alive, Perish Song is good at killing the opposing last Pokémon and to use against Stats Boosting pokémons, Scald is it Attack and have a 30% of chance to burn, and Toxic is really good against one or other Bulky Pokémon.

215px-205Forretress.png

Forretress @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
-Forretress had mainly 2 jobs use Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin so my Therians will not be damaged by Stealth Rock.
- Spikes is when I have the opportunity to use it I use, but it’s not a compulsory hazard that I need to use, even this, I am not going to change Spikes for some attack like Gyro Ball or Hidden Power Ice or whatever, I really like to use Spikes when I have the right opportunity to it.
- Volt Switch is good against Jellicent, Tentacruel and some other pokémons as it helps putting Breloom in the perfect situation to Spore, Sub and cripple 1 or 2 opposing Pokémons.

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Superpower
- Ice Punch

-CBAzumarill, well I really love this Pokémon and think it should have more love, if I think one Pokémon is underrated, it’s Azumarill.
-It’s incredible strong and under the rain it hits incredibly strong. Aqua Jet revenge kills almost everythink, even if a Pokémon resist it, it will still do a great damage, Waterfall is so strong under the rain that it can break SkarmBliss just Spamming Waterfall.
-The other 2 are more for Coverage, Superpower kills Ferrothorn if I predict a switch. Really love this Pokémon.

breloomanalysis_breloom.jpg

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
Classic SubPunchLoom, I still use it even with Techniloom released. I think the gen 5 sleep-mechanics have made the sleep moves so good that sometimes I think that EVERY team should use 1 sleep inducer. SubPunchLoom maybe isn’t the best set for Breloom right now, but It is still very good and behind a Sub Breloom can destroy unprepared teams.

I like the team even if it's using the flavor of the month Pokemon's. Seems to work well together. Unfortunately, I could never do well with it, because it requires a great deal of prediction, but you must predict well to get such a high rank. The team is great, don't get me wrong, but with the bulk of what this team does/is coming from two choiced Pokemon, if you predict wrong, that allows for set up, counters, sweeps, etc. As such, I think well played and put together stall teams give this team the most trouble, as they give all teams that rely heavily on choiced Pokemon trouble. Against many other teams, though, this looks to be a great set up.

I can't find much wrong with it, save that you rely on rain a bit too much. If opposing weather players can get rid of your Politoed, then it's more than likely good game for you. Luckily, you put good offensive pressure on the opponent if they switch in their weather inducer, so props for that.

Luvdisc'd to Tornadus-T! Well, you semm to have problems with Gastrodon, because the only mon that can kill it is Thundurus-T. I suggest to use LO starmie instead Azumarill. You can add HP Grass/Psyshock to the standard Life Orb set, it's pretty effective.

Gastrodon isn't beating Breloom. Just saying.

Anyway, about your Tornadus-T set... It's just weird. I would just recommend the standard Life Orb set of Hurricane | Superpower | U-turn | Rain Dance / Hidden Power Ground. Hidden Power Ground is for the most part useless, but since everyone and their mothers are using Jirachi to check Tornadus-T, it can be useful. Superpower is a necessity for the sole reason of nabbing the OHKO on any non-Chople Berry Tyranitar.

Also, I think you could have trouble with SubPass Jolteon. You're not using a Techniloom, which only makes it even more difficult. Once it has a Substitute up, it OHKOs or at least 2HKOs every member of your team. So, you should try using the standard Life Orb Techniloom with Swords Dance | Mach Punch | Bullet Seed | Spore. This way, you can break Jolteon's sub with one priority user, and KO with the other.

Good luck!

Great team, good synergy etc. A couple issues though, first of all your team lacks a reliable answer to the omnipresent Tornadus-T, a Life Orb Hurricane 2HKOs anything on your team. Also, you're mad weak to DD Salamence, DD Dragonite, etc. To check all these weaknesses, I would go for Specially Defensive Jirachi > Forretress and Donphan > Azumarill. Jirachi will help check your weaknesses to Tornadus-T, Gengar, and other somewhat strong special attackers. It will also give you a reliable answer to Specs Latios, as Forretress is 2HKO'd by Draco Meteor, and once it's down, Latios can basically switch in to Azumarill locked into something, Breloom, or Politoed, and proceed to score a free kill, rinsing and repeating. Jirachi even lets you Wish pass to Politoed and other things if they're running low on HP. Donphan would replace Forretress as your spinner and Stealth Rocks user, while also giving you priority Ice Shard to hit those DD Dragons I mentioned earlier for a lot of damage. Azumarill seems like the least useful member of your team to me, as the rest of the Pokemon all do something for you in terms of type synergy and coverage. Azumarill really just doesn't pull its weight and I don't think you'll miss it much. The sets for Jirachi and Donphan are below. Donphan's EVs are customized to score a 2HKO on Haxorus, Salamence, and even Bulky DDnite after rocks. 4 Speed EVs on both Jirachi and Donphan are to speed creep on others in the same speed tier. For Jirachi, that's mostly other Specially Defensive Jirachis; for Donphan, the primary target is Chansey.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Protect
- Wish
- Thunder
- Iron Head
Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Atk / 184 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake

Finally, on Breloom, run 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spd to hit a Poison Heal number, so you can recover the maximum amount of HP per turn.

That's all I have for you. Innovative Tornadus-T set, I might as well Luvdisc for that.

Really nice team and you are really damn right about Tornadus-T as most of the time he will just be spamming Hurricane anyways. My first suggestion would be to run Focus Blast instead of Thunder as most of your team does not seem to fare well against Magnezone as most of them do not like eating a STAB Thunderbolt on the case of Azumarill, Tornadus, Politoed and Forretress, while Breloom can´t really take Flash Cannon due to the lack of bulk.

I agree with all of Lavos Spawn´s suggestions of using Donphan and Jirachi but would you consider a Sub CM Jirachi? Jirachi might seem to fit really well on this team being able to stall-break and take on unprepared teams. Here is the set and if you ask me options for the last move, I would use either Water Pulse to abuse fully Rain or Flash Cannon to hit strongly Tyranitar in sand and most Hail teams. Here is the set and good luck: SubCM Jirachi.

Good idea, Motagua. The only problem with that is it leaves him with a Steel-type that can't recover any HP outside of Leftovers, so a Latios spamming Draco Meteors will wear the team down pretty quickly. It's honestly your choice (and by you I mean the RMT maker) if you want to go for survivability or stall-breakability. Depends on your playstyle.

EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef @ Calm nature

is a superior spread on Politoed. It gives you a few more Defense , while retaining the same S pDef.

I also really don't understand Breloom. You run Sleep Talk just for sleeping moves on Tornadus, yet you have breloom for status. Like the previous posters said, I would replace Forretress with Specially defensive Jirachi and have Breloom changed to an offensive starmie

Timid Nature
4 hp / 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spd
-hydro pump
-thunderbolt
-ice beam
-rapid spin

it spins like forry but is another offensive threat paired with the genies.

Hey guy, I like this team a lot! Since you are using rain, I would suggest getting rid of Breloom and using a Parasect instead. You might think this is crazy, but Parasect is definitely the best rain abuser I have ever used (Azumarill is a close second, props for using him). I recommend the OU subseeding set. You still have spore, you are healed by water type moves, Psychic types are destroyed, and can stall the stuff out of everything once he is set up. Here is the set. I hope this helps! ;D

Parasect
Dry Skin
Sassy (in case you are facing a TR team because Parasect is slow anyways)
Leftovers
252 HP/ 160 Def/ 96 SpD
Spore/Substitute/Leech seed/X-Scissor or Protect (if you use protect, taunt is basically the only thing that stops Parasect's rampage)

Hi! Just wanted to share my opinion here considering I just battled you.

The thing that strikes me most is how easy it is to play around your Tornadus. With only one attack, it's very easy for someone to send in a Pokemon that resists Hurricane and proceed to set up, which could end up being a problem for the rest of your team. I would suggest you change the moveset some to make it less predictable. Maybe a Bulk Up set could work to give you a nice set up sweeper to use. Other than that, I think your team is pretty good.
