I meant Calm nature, not Calm Mind, but your explanation is sufficient in either regard. For some reason I thought she had equal defenses.

ok, so I haven't played since first gen, so I'm unfamiliar with which Pokemon are uber and which aren't, since appearantly the Legendary birds, like Zapdos, aren't uber.

Out of all the 4 generations which Pokemon just aren't allowed?

I don't think "true" tiers have been created for this generation yet, but...
this is from last generation

Go check it out.
I'm pretty sure Arceus, Darkrai, Palkia, Giratina, Dialga will be considered Ubers though.

I can't really speak for D/P, but here's what's generally considered "Uber" in Advance:

Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Wobbuffet, Wynaut, Lati@s, Deoxys (All Forms).

I'd imagine Palkia, Dialgia, and a few others I'm unfamiliar with from D/P are autoincludes, and there's lots of flame-filled fun regarding some which I won't go into. But that's the short, NO WAY JOSE version.

Which grass type pokemon would be a better defenseive wall? Leafeon or Tangrowth? Tangrowth has more HP, and defense, but Leafeon has better speed, special defense, and better attack.

What is the best level to detemine which IVs a pokemon got other than level 100? I'm asking this because I don't have wifi and I only have like 20 rare candies.

20 Level ups is generally good enough, just save your game and then dump the 20 on (while filling out Metalkid's Chart), and then calculate.

I personally like IV checking at level 40-60, since it seems to give me pretty exact answers.

Do it up to like 5, see if you're in the right 50% for the stats you want. If so, keep going to about 10, check again, if still good, you'll want to go to about 20. That's usually enough. To be absolutely sure of your exact IVs after finishing your team, do an IV battle and save it for future reference.

Okay but one thing, what Metalkid Chart?

I tend to use level 50 for my IV checking myself as it tend to narrow the list of IV on one stat by two but level 40-60 is good too.

Okay...thanks for the link, Origin

Now I got another question, if you save your game just before picking up a egg for the day-care and then after hatching said egg, you could do a soft reset and change up the IV said hatched pokemon had?

Yeah. Just as long as you don't save anytime after you get the egg, you can change the IVs.

Yeah, you can soft reset before picking up the egg from the day-care. The IVs aren't set until you actually take the egg. (meaning you could easily retake the egg, hatch it, check IVs/nature, repeat if it's not good).

I actually think that you can do this to keep the gender/nature of the pokemon, because I think that is actually determined when the egg is made (not sure of this though).

Personally though, I find just picking up multiple eggs MUCH faster, since that way, you can pick up 6 eggs at a time, and hatch them all in a row.

Question: If i breed a lvl 1 pokemon, rare candy it up to lvl 10 or 20, then begin ev training will it have the same stats in the end if i ev trained it from the level 1. Also the xp share thing works doesnt it where i can give exp share to my lower pokemon and battle with a higher one gaining evs

No matter when you EV train a pokemon, it will end up with the same stats when it is maxed level. Though I don't recommend beginning at level 98+. I'm not sure where you get the Exp Share though.. I think Dawn's dad gives you it, somewhere. Eterna City I think. You can also win one at the Jubilife City TV Station ID game thing.

If you use the candy it stats are going to be normal then when you ev it you will get all the ev that you work for
