You can find it in Pastoria City (the house with the big man standing near the pond) and he wants heart scales just like in RSE.

I think this might go in the RMT forum but I just need a suggestion so maybe not. If my team is Weavile, Magnezone, Manaphy, Garchomp, Skarmory and Infernape, since Skarmory is the only pokemon with an attack that can beat Heracross/Fighting types, should I replace Night Slash on weavile for Aerial Ace?
It's current set is:
Jolly
252 Attack/252 Speed/6 Hp
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Pursuit
Night Slash

What's the mimic glitch, does it have to do with mimicing sketch? Or am i way off.

And does anyone know were i can find the thing about which phrase effects IVs, like my magikarp is "Proud of its power". I forget were it is.

Why does it seem like good HP and Speed IV's are slightly rarer, while the attacking stats are more common? I just caught 20 heatran and averaged their IV's for each stat, and HP averaged 13.35 and speed averaged 12.85, while attack averaged 19.25 and special attack averaged 21.65. Do I just have bad luck? Also out of the 20, only 1 had a perfect IV, while 2 had IV's of 30. Someone did research and said it was about a 1:6 chance of finding a perfect IV; am I just having bad luck?

skarm

What do you think of this Skarmory's IV should I keep...I'm just starting to get bored breeding him:

Skarmory - Impish
HP: 30 - 31
Att: x
Def: 20 - 27
SpA: 13 - 19
SpD: 14
Speed: 7 - 9

Ok, this one may get a tad convoluted, but bear with me.

Defog, a move that lowers foes evasiveness. Now does this work in the same direction on the standard evasion stages? That is to say, using the move can in effect raise your accuracy?

Example: Charizard uses Defog against, whatever, lets say ditto.

Will the accuracy then of that Charizards moves like Fire Blast be increased when used against said ditto?

Thatss weird, after going on a catching spree, These were the IVs of the 12 starlys I found(HP/ATK/DEF/SP.ATK/SP.DEF/Spd)

27/14/24/23/5/30
10/18/0/18/12/18
14/23/8/21/28/25
18/15/19/15/2/23
30/19/22/22/16/18
1/15/17/16/3/29
31/13/20/3/7/20
24/7/2/20/1/31
17/14/2/22/29/22
31/3/26/17/10/28
1/29/28/23/11/27
26/11/21/8/17/29

Assuming that 20 IV points is average

-6/12(50%) had above average HP
-2/12(17%) had above aveage ATK
-5/12(42%) had above average DEF
-6/12(50%) had above average SP.ATK
-2/12(17%) had above average SP.DEF
-10/12(83%) had above average SPD

So in this simple Side test(wasn't even trying to test), starlys usually have SPD,HP,and SP.ATK in the wild. ATK,and SP.DEF are lowest.

How did you work out the average IVs? I would have thought you'd use 15 or less as below average and 16 or more as above average.

Also, 12 isn't really a big enough sample. I'd bet that that everything would be about even after 100 or so Pokemon.

1. I was provin a point
2.I have 12, because I was looking for a 31 spd and 31 atk Jolly/Adament Starly
3. I wasn't trying to test that.
4.20, because with 12, you have to raise the bar a little. For spped, with 15 being average, then al of the starlys would be above average, which would make the "test" a bit more unbelivable

WHY use Wiki Berrys instead of pamtre berrys?

I understand what you are trying to prove but you can't just say that Starlys have certain higher stats in the wild from this test. For the most part they are completely random and your results coincidentally had above average speed.

As for the guy with the Heatran, thats probably just unlucky but I have heard something about the IVs of one-time encounter Pokemon being related to the time of the in-game clock. If anyone knows more on this could you explain further please?

With your question Flash Gearz, a Wiki berry has the in battle affect of replenishing HP with the risk of confusion while a Pamtre can only be used as a Poffin ingrediant. If your talking about in Poffins, then a Wiki gives beauty points while a Pamtre gives double the beauty points and some cute points.

Ok i have quite a few questions i need to ask, so if anyone could help id appreciate it:
1.) How long (in hours) does it take to beat the elit foure in d/p (roughly)? More or less than in emerald?
2.) What are two good hm slaves on d/p?
3.) Do these three pokemon handle most of the gyms and that, torterra, floatzel and staraptor? I wanna get two more pokemon early on, (before first 2 badges)
4.) How ealry can u trade over manaphy eggs from ranger?

can someone please help me on these things

1.ABout 20 mins. My teacher<_< took 45 mins. to get to champion.
2.Bebarel, and ???
3.Except 5th gym, but you can just use hinx to cover that, ASLONG as staraptor has Close Combat
4.???

He thought you meant from beginning of Elite Four to end of Elite Four, not beginning of game to end of Elite Four. Be more clear next time.
Also, to answer that, it all depends on your own skill and how fast/slow/determinedly you play.

ok, i thought i was clear enough, but newayz, how long did it take you compared to emerald to finish the whole game, starter to elite four did it take you?

honestly i finished it pretty quick, for my standards that is, which is like 19 hours. Thats really just straight through, but on emerald it took me forever like 40 hours because i played it on a road trip so i had nothing else to do and i was a complete noob. so with that in mind im guesstimating the range to be 20-40, i mean in that time its not so hard to beat unless you just cannot beat the elite four in which case it takes the amount of time to train them also.
