Possibly this could go where the horrifically outdated Leadership Team page currently is on the site, since there is really no purpose for it any longer.

I very much doubt if this would be accepted as part of the main Smogon credits page.

I don't think credits pages like this (the Smogon credits page included) do much good as the main place to reference the contributors to the project. It's a nice historical listing of what people have done for the project, and I think it definitely has a place on our website as a historical reference. But credit lists like this tend to glorify a bunch of people that have no current interest or contribution to the project and most of whom will never come back. So this sort of thing tends to bury the contributions of people that are actively contributing to the project, in favor of immortalizing a bunch of people that are long gone. I'm not saying the current CAP leadership page is doing anyone any good at the moment, and it definitely needs to be updated or thrown out. But I'd like to see current contributors be the focus and not past contributors.

Wherever this document lands, I think the original members of the CAP Server Blue Team should also be mentioned. In their day, the CAP server mods were key leaders of the community (even outside the server) and it was a big deal to be promoted into the position.

I do think that it is important to reference, somewhere, the work done by the forgotten, not simply because I have a great love of history but also because I feel that what is up there is truly worth immortalising, as you put it. Certainly most of them don't have a current interest in the project or any intention of returning, but that doesn't mean we should begrudge them reward for their past efforts. Same deal as alumnus badges really.

Even so, you do make a good point that current contributors should be given precedence. I would therefore propose that I make a section at the top for current CAP moderators and any other group that merits mention (and really I don't know who that could be... Showdown! isn't officially under our control and the PRC changes too often to really be worth putting down). Any thoughts on who could go in this section, aside from current forum mods (who are already listed in the main forum anyway) would be greatly appreciated.

That's a good point. I knew there was some group I'd missed. I'm unlikely to remember all of them, but I have added the ones on-site to the OP; is there anyone I've missed?
