Is there a Link or a thread that tells you what a pokemons characteristic means. I know that it means its the higest iv. But what does each individual saying mean? Ex. Likes to thrash about, Highly curious, etc.

I've asked this several times now. I've checked the breeding guides and the answer is not there, please help.

Generally, on this set which nature would be better?

Alakazam
move 1: Trick
move 2: Psychic
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Grass Knot / Hidden Power Fire
item: Choice Specs
ability: Synchronize
nature: Timid / Modest
evs: 4hp/252spatk/252spd

Timid or Modest?

Anyone want to help?

I prefer Timid to not get mauled by Gengar and the likes.

Check stickies@ Blue_Flamez. It IS in there. Or do a search :).

According to the Heatran Analyisis with a neutral speed and the given EVs you get 240 speed. With a +speed nature you would only need 116 EVs to get 240. So my question is that couldn't you use a +speed nature to get 240 speed and put those extra EVs into another stat like HP or attack?

I've seen your question answered twice, and I bet it's been answered even more than I've seen. Learn to read or GTFO.

on the characteristics (mischievius, alert to sounds)
if there are two or more perfect IVs, is the one shown due to the order of the stat the IV is on?
HP/atk/def/sp.atk/sp.def/spe

ex. often dozes off (HP) that means there can be another perfect IV
alert to sounds (speed) no other perfect IVs
thrahes about (attack) can have other perfect IVs, but not HP.

so is it according to the order of the stat?

It's random IIRC. My straight-31 Heracross (Who I LOVE! <3) has "Likes to thrash about", even though it has 31 HP. (And 31 everything else. :D)

Talking to Mr. Backlot at the Pokemon Mansion lets you find one rare Pokemon in the Trophy Garden, and you also find the previous Pokemon he told you about, right?

If I don't talk to him again, will these species continue to appear in the Trophy garden even after two days have passed? Or will the Garden then have only non-rare Pokemon until I talk to Backlot again?

Hacked? Or did you really breed a 1/12939123912391231 Pokemon?
Statistical Oddity =/= Foul Play
Besides, if Hera got 3 31 IVs passed from its parents, it would actually have a 1/(32*32*32) chance afterwards of getting 3 additional 31s- Meaning a 1/32768 chance.
Only perfectly-IVed Pokémon I have and probably ever will have.
But, this is all totally irrelevant to any discussion at hand.

It's so she has enough Sp.Atk to kill Garchomp/Salamence with ice beam.
Seconded.

Question: What do you guys think of this Leafeon?

Grasswhistle
Sunny Day
Leaf Blade
Solar Beam/Razor Leaf
Grasswhistle Sucks
Sunny day serves no real purpose on this Leafeon aside from Ability/Solar Beam
Leaf Blade is physical and Leafeon's physical attack SUCKS
Solar Beam is junk without sunny day but sunny day takes a move slot and a turn to set up; Razor leaf: (see leaf blade)

What do you guys think of this Leafeon?
sux

Does baton pass negate abilities like Arena trap or Magnet pull?

EDIT: Also, say I level up a Growlithe to 48, learn Flare Blitz, then Evolve. Will Arcanine be able to learn Extreme speed by Heart scale?

Wad does IIRC mean

And a normal pokemon with Guts and a status effect using Facade holding Life Orb, does it do 70x2x1.5x1.5x1.5(BaseDamage,FacadeEffect,Stab,Guts,LifeOrb) = 472.5 power? did i calculate this correctly?

Me and i my brother are trying to do wireles capture the flag in underground, how do we start the game, we spoke to each other and asked questions and that but couldnt get it to work

Leaf Blade is physical and Leafeon's physical attack SUCKS

Leafeon's attack has a base stat of 110 as opposed to its special attack (60 base stat), so Leaf Blade's a good move to use. Now...

I'm definitely no expert, but I'm certain that two damage dealing attacks of the same type (Grass, in this case) is redundant. Not only that, Solarbeam is a special move and Razor Leaf is simply a weaker version of Leaf Blade.

Sunny Day might be of use, but that probably depends on the rest of your team; I don't think that Leaf Guard is good enough to be the only reason for using Sunny Day.

Grasswhistle has low accuracy, and Leafeon's special defense and hp make it risk annihilation while it's trying to put something to sleep.
