what level should my pokemon be by the time I take on Gardenia? (2nd gym leader) I have a Monferno, a Luxio, a Psyduck, a Staravia, a Budew, and a Machop.
I live in Australia, and we only got the game yesterday :)

Timid outspeeds Timid Gengar and Adamant Weavile, Sceppy, Duggy, and Modest Zam. Modest guarentees a 2HKO on Blissey with Focus Bomb, which isn't guarenteed with Timid.

Probably to OHKO Gyarados, Garchomp, and Mence.

I'm breeding for a clefable, and I need a recovory move on him. Unfortunatly I don't have access to softboiled and I dont think I should use moonlight in a sandstorm infested metagame, so I think I should go with wish. Or should I screw recovory and slap Fire blast on it?
 
i was wondering wat ivs i should aim for when gettin my manaphy, does
15+/x/15+/25+/15+/25+ (spd last) with either a timid or modest manaphy. Are those defences gonna be ok or should i aim for gettin higher?

Wish is fine, but because I don't know the rest of your moveset it's hard to formulate an informed opinion.

-> Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Elekid, Magby, Smoochum, Tyrogue, Wynaut, Azurill, Happiny, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Bonsly, Mantyke, Chingling, Budew, Riolu.
-> Nidorina, Nidoqueen
-> Unown
-> Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Mewtwo, Mew
-> Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi
-> Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys
-> Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus
-> Ditto (breeding a Ditto with another Ditto won´t produce a Ditto egg.)

From the breeding guide, it says Riolu can not breed.
 
Female Lucario can also breed with anything in its egg group, and male Lucario can breed with Ditto. Baby Pokemon cannot breed.
