How much does a belly drum actually raise attack? By maxing it out, does that mean it goes to 999 or something? My guess is that it doesn't since if it did there would be no need to put EV's into attack stats at all.

If a pokemon has an attack stat of 300, what would a belly drum bring it up to?

1200

Here are the levels

1.5 (Bulk Up)
2 ( Swords Dance)
2.5
3
3.5
4 (Belly Drum)

Belly Drum makes your attack go up 6 stages, so that's... x3?
So I believe that would make your attack go up by 900.

Edit: Beaten AND I was wrong. ;;>_>
I swear I meant 300 + 900 which makes 1200.

I meant, having one Screen and one Reflect up. It is possible, right? Both reduce each respective attack by 50%?

Yep, it's possible. Generally, you won't want to devote two slots to such a strategy, but it's nice to know it's possible.

The move "Healing Wish" says if user faints, next Pokemon gets full healed etc. How long do you have to be knocked out before you have to reuse it? Is it only that turn, a couple turns, or until you switch?

sorry, just finished reading the item thread...so does that mean if i have a power belt and fought gravellers i would get 6 DEF EV's per graveller?

If I were to breed an amazing IV Ampharos, would I be wasting my time? I mean, would Ampharos even be worth using in D/P's speed+power=win battle scene?

I have 2 questions:

How much does Flash Fire increase fire attacks?
How much does Motor Drive increase Electrivire's speed?

How do things like life orb and stat increases stack? Let's say a pokemon has 300 attack. If he had life orb, it'd go up to 390. After a swords dance would it then be multiplied by 2, making it 780, or would it be recalculated and say, multiplied by 2.3, making it only 690?

Not necessarily; Ampharos is obviously in Electivire's shadow, but it does hold a few tricks up its sleeve; namely, better defenses and higher Special Attack.

That being said, Electivire just plain outclasses Ampharos. Better trait, better movepool, and higher speed. Ampharos couldn't quite compete in ADV, and with the "speed+power=win battle scene," its chances are even slimmer in DP.

I say go for it, and use it when the UU metagame develops.

How much does Motor Drive increase Electrivire's speed?

Both by 50% (a 1.5 multiplier).

Which move in each pair is better for Magnezone, (assuming its teammates have lower Special Defense than Defense)?

Light Screen or Substitute?
Magnet Rise or Thunder Wave?

I'd go with sub and Magnet Rise. Because Sub works both ways, and magnet rise gets rid of a weakness and most teams carry more then 1 pokemon that uses a statues effect. so yeah.

What are the chances that I get the
31atkIVs from a male Starly
31SpdIVs from a female starly
the same nature as the female
and any random stat from ether one

[ITEM]
Focus Sash
[SHORT DESC]
User survives an attack.
[LONG DESC]
If the holder has max HP, Focus Sash guarantees they survive any attack with 1 HP. The item will be useless if the holder is not at full health. The item disappears after it activates.

From the item analysis thread.

Are the characterisitcs a sure thing, as in, I can use them to discover if my pokemon has a 31 IV or not? Because I don't remember ever getting confirmation. And of course by characteristics I mean "Likes to run", "Is alert to sounds", etc.

Oh, and my earlier question hasn't been answered, but I didn't ask it too long ago, so I'll wait a little longer.

Yes they are a sure thing. I have bred many a Pokemon and the characteristics have been correct each time. For example every 'Mischievous' Porygon had 31 IVs in special attack. If you need a higher source to confirm this then Metalkid has added them to his calculator. I Can't answer your other question, sorry.
