When breeding for natues using a ditto of the desired nature holding an everstone...does it matter what gender the other poke is?...for example im going for a calm abra on my emerald, and ive gone through 8 eggs without one..the abra i have in there is male though..or is it just bad luck
 
k, thanks...and the ditto is considered the mother in that situation, hence giving it an everstone Would help my chances?
 
I'm wondering if I should be sad about what I thought were awesome Pokomans I raised to calculate IVs at lv 30. If you switch the lead poke out (the one you want to raise), then big strong one kills the opponent, will lead get the evs? I thought that was only with exp share.
 
Yeah, Ditto needs to hold the Everstone if it's going to work.

If a Pokémon gets Exp. it will ALWAYS get EVs as well. The only exceptions are the daycare and rare candies.

Yes. You would then have a 50% chance of passing the nature of the Ditto down to the baby.

Yes, the lead will get the EVs.

Anybody have a list of the BP you earn in the Tower for ALL sections? I sing 1-player Single, you get 3, 3, 20, 4, 5, but I lose on the last fight or Round 6 here. Six times, and counting....

I need that finished, as well as for the Single-Player DOUBLE Battle, the 2-player Tower, and the Wifi-Tower.
 
I am certain that all sections (maybe except Wifi) have the same BP rewards.

Excluding the Tower Tycoon... here's what I got...

3,3,4,4,5,7,7...
(3,3,20,4,5,7,20,... would be inclusive of the Tycoon...)

Waitasec that's as far as I've gone...

What do you get for the second Tycoon fight, 20 again? 7 points is as high as it goes, that much I know for sure (excluding Tycoon, ofc).

EDIT: Gah I'm blind, nvm. Rofl. I tried to search around Smogon, but I found nothing.
 
Does Clear body negate the nature affects of sychronize...i have a calm syrchronize abra leading agaisnt regice and i havent gotten a calm one in over 20 tries...when i had a timid one out agaisnt azelf it was hard to find one that wasnt timid.

lol take that back i just got a calm (go figure horrible ivs) one but still it took forever...and i honesntly think that clear body has some sort of effect on it
 
@GB_Packers_FTW: The problem is that Synchronize only works with legends in 4rth gen (D/P), so your Abra is not affecting at all Regice nature.
 
Quick question when ev training a freshly hatched pogey will it get the boosted ev's from the lead guy whose knockin everthing out with a lucky egg on em or not? Im starting to think that they dont, an it would kind of make sense cause since the youngin holding the exp share is not holding a lucky egg to double it all up just need clarification.

and another one do they at least get ev's from holding the exp share? just need to get this straightened out cause I was ev'in my shiny adamant larvitar and when I thought I was done I went to get the effort ribbon in sunyshore and she said I needed more effort which made me start thinkin just wanna double check...

yes, they get ev's for just holding exp. share. and lucky egg doesnt double ev's, thats macho brace you're talking about.

If the pokemon is getting xp, they will also get EVs. If you have your high-level lead pokemon killing everything and another pokemon holding xp share, since they have xp share on and are gaining xp, they also gain evs from the defeated pokemon.

I don't think lucky egg effects EVs, just XP.
