Sorry, but come on, I remember having to wait 20 pages before someone answered my question once, so you really shouldn't bump a thread after 3 freaking minutes.

Well, he did have a bit of a point. On this thread, it's rather rude to repost so quickly. Wait at least ten minutes, it's worth it, and you might get an answer by then.

At least he answered your question.

@ The Master: I'm not really sure, but I'd guess it rounds up, since STAB does.

edit: you mean the one about the subpassing jolteon?

Wow, you suggest 10 minutes? Only? Have some patience please! The only time I'd say "anyone?" was if my question was swamped by other ones and got overlooked. Otherwise, if it's the last one, someone WILL eventually answer.

If say you have a pokemon with base 80 speed and then it used Salac, does it now have the same speed as a pokemon with base 120 speed?

Who resists BoltBeam again?

Lanturn (with Volt Absorb) and Magneton (or rather Magnezone now) resist boltbeam.. I probably missed some. Just those two came to mind.

If I remember correctly, stat boosts affect the actual stat; not the base stat. Lanturn resists BoltBeam (can't think of any others at this moment)

Base 80 speed @ lvl 100: 259
Base 120 speed @ lvl 100: 339

259 + one speed boost (Salac Berry): 388

So, no, it's not at all the same.

This may seem like a really nonsensical question (yeah, that`s a word.)
Can gengar and Duskclops breed? I have a male dclops and a female gengar in the breeding center and its taking them forever to have any kids. I want to get a good duskkull, if anyone can provide any help at all on this it would much appreciated.

Right now, I'm looking to make a CB or CS user for my team (I self-impose item clause), and I'm torn between using Tauros and Slaking.
Who are the main pokemon who use CB or CS effectively besides those two, Weavile, Heracross and Aerodactyl (none of which I feel like using)? And if there are no other major ones, which CBer do you prefer Tauros or Slaking? Please give a reason for your choice. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Obviously, I want this to be a physical pokemon, so CS Gengar and co. aren't options.

Slaking is the ultimate Choice Bander (he only gets one real chance to attack, much like a Choice Bander), so it's almost pointless to use a Slaking without one (he has enough defenses to not need the Scarf).

So you recommend using Slaking over Tauros?

Salamence, Staraptor, and Garchomp can Choice effectively. Imo, it depends on the team to find the best Choice user that fits right.

Slaking hits hard, but may not be the best choice if you're shaky with prediction.

Thanks, I'll keep those in mind for another team, but for now, I already have too many ice-weak pokes.
And I'm not amazing with prediction, but I might as well learn the hard way, right? ;;>_>

Slowbro learns Slack Off by Level Up, but Slowpoke and Slowking don't. Is it possible to get a Slowpoke with Slack Off by having both parents be Slowbro with Slack Off, or does it not count since it's not one of Slowpoke's level up moves?

Thanks for the Metagross suggestion, but I don't feel like sitting at the slots for hours trying to get an Explosion TM.
Anyway, last question about CB: do you still not get locked into Pursuit if the enemy switches like in the JAP version? Or did they change that for the American release.

They changed it. In fact, they made it so it won't work at all over Wifi, even between two Japanese games. It sucks. I didn't find this out until my CS Pursuit Hera got pwned.
