Help with my UU team!

Hey guys I made a UU team and I'm about 50/50
as far as wins/losses with the battles I'm having.
I just want to see if the reason I lose games is because
of not having enough practice battling and that I just need
more practice or or if it is because of my team.
Any feedback is appreciated.

(In no particular order because I'm not sure who I
should use for my lead)

- Calm Umbreon - synchronize
Item: leftovers
EV: 252hp 4def 252spD
Moves: wish, heal bell, protect, foul play

Umbreon is my support pokemon. He is a fantastic staller for me if I can get a toxic off
on the enemy I can use umbreon to stay alive while that pokemon dies. I can always get
a wish or healbell off and then switch umbreon out with full hp.

- Timid Smeargle - own temp
Item: focus sash
EV: 252hp 252 spe 4 spD
Moves: quiver dance, baton pass, spore, substitute

Smeargle is great (I usually lead with him) I can get a spore off to sleep them then quiver
dance, substitute, quiver dance, baton pass and I've pretty much setup either chandelure
or togekiss for a sweep. Only problem is if I try to send him in mid battle (as opposed to lead)
or if something upsets him in the lead spot, I'm now down a pokemon and my sweepers have
a hard time getting setup.

- Impish Hitmontop - intimidate
Item: choice scarf
EV: 252 hp 252def 4spe
Moves: rapid spin, close combat, toxic, stone edge

He is pretty much just my spinner. He'll get in, spin or drop a toxic, stone edge etc and get out.
I've been playing around with the EVs in regards to putting more in attack and speed vs the
hp and def but both seem hit or miss.

- Bold Mismagius - life orb
Item: life orb
EV: 252hp 252 def 4 spA
Moves: nasty plot, shadow ball, substitute, thunderbolt

I use mismagius as a counter to my teams heavy weakness to fighting. I see a pokemon
come in on the other team who can use fighting moves and put in this guy who is immune.
Then I can drop a substitute and a nasty plot and sweep a bit with shadowball or thunderbolt.

- Naive Chandelure - flash fire
Item: leftovers
EV: 4hp 252 spA 252 spe
Moves: flame thrower, protect, calm mind, shadowball

I would love to use ninetales but he is unfortunately in OU now but chandelure can still
get the job done and has won me lots of games. If he gets set up properly this move set
can pretty much kill any team. He is just very fragile and can sometimes be outsped and killed
by heracross etc.

- Timid Togekiss - Serene Grace
Item: leftovers
EV: 252 hp 4 spA 252 spe
Moves: air cutter, roost, nasty plot, aura sphere

Togekiss is one of my favorite pokemon as well as one of my favorites on this team. He is like
an offensive umbreon in that he can sit out on the field, stall, and just eat away at the enemy.
He is so bulky and carries roost. If he gets a smeargle baton pass its pretty much gg for the
other team bbut he can get killed by again, fast pokemon like heracross or hitmontop.

Thanks for the help guys!

Erm, it'd be nice to be more detailed of what's wrong and a few sprites here-and-there. But, I'll help regardless.

One, you are running Choice Scarf on a Defensive Support Hitmontop. Leftovers is a much, much better choice. And Close Combat is a no-no, it lowers your Def and Spef. Foresight might help, since it has Rapid Spin.

Two, you have a LO Subbing Physically Bulky Mismagius. Running Timid Max Speed and Max SpAtk is a much better choice, also change LO to Leftovers if you are going to keep Substitute. Cause Hp is greatly needed in battling.

Three, you have Naive nature on Chandelure. Changing it to Timid with help greatly. Also that you have Calm Mind, it's counteracting your Sp Def.

Four, you have Air Cutter on Togekiss, and max Hp instead of Max SpAtk. Changing that to Air Slash has more power and combined with Serene Grace, you are a flinch machine. Plus, the SpAtk will come in handy for more power (once again.)

Five, you have too many SpAtk users, changing Smeargle to a standard Choice Scarf Moxiecross will help greatly to attack around defenses.

Pretty nice team, here are some things I think may help make it better:

1. Togekiss: Looks good, except you should definitely replace Air Cutter with Air Slash. The 60% chance to flinch is just too useful to pass up.

2. Chandelure: I don't think Calm Mind sets work too well for Chandelure, I would replace it with either a Life Orb or Choice Specs variant with Modest nature:

- Modest Chandelure -
flash fire
Item: Life Orb/ Choice Specs
EV: 4hp 252 spA 252 spe
Moves: flame thrower, shadow ball, energy ball, hp fighting (or trick if using Specs)

3. Mismagius is pretty outclassed in UU, both offensively and defensively. If you want a physical Ghost type then Cofagrigus is the man for the job. A standard defensive set would work well. If you want something more offensive than OTR Cofagrigus is a very good option.

Another great replacement to deal with Fighting types would be Nidoqueen, who resists Fighting and can set up Stealth Rocks, which is very important. I would say this is the best option over all.

4. As Tank said, replace the Scarf for Leftovers on Hitmontop. I'd say everything else looks fine.

5. Smeargle: Looks fine, but really I would just go with Shell Smash over Quiver Dance, just cuz its more power and speed. And the strategy is to Shell Smash first then Spore, as long as you're sure you can't get killed by priority or something on the turn you Spore. This strategy is much safer, and makes it much harder to deal with.

But really though I don't think Smeargle is necessary, and a physical attacker might do you good. Heracross, Mienshao, Flygon, Victini, Sharpedo, and Honchkrow are all great attackers.

Thanks man I appreciate it.

Its weird cuz I'm not sure exactly what beats me but I just get swept by alot of
teams I feel like my team lacks synergy, like I'm playing with 6 pokemon vs a solid team. Maybe I need more strategy help than pokemon if the team looks pretty solid. If you have any of that I'd appreciate it too, like, who to lead, who to switch out to etc.

Honestly I got owned by a chandelure that had calm mind and almost that exact set that I had so thats why I used it. If I run that full offensive set I just was nervous about someone sending in something and 1 shotting me thus the protect and stuff. But he seems pretty fast however switching him in has been risky sometimes, are there certain pokemon that I shouldn't switch him in against (even if my attacks can do damage)?

So I really like the idea for nidoqueen and I was wondering what a good moveset and stuff would be?

This Nidoqueen set will be your best if being Defensive:

Nidoqueen (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Def
Modest Nature
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
---
Or wanting Offensive, this set will work:

Nidoqueen (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Sludge Wave

There you go.
