I just wanted to make sure I was correctly tracking my evs. If my pokemon has pokerus and fights a pokemon that gives two EVs, that would give me 4 evs right? And if it's holding macho brace that turns into 8 evs correct?

When you use Me First, is it based off of the users attack stat, because Me First is normal, or is it based off which ever stat the move is classified as? Does it even copy type, or does it just copy the power of the move x1.5?

@ Iron Thorn- It can't learn both

Oh gah I knew there was something I forgot...

Does Destiny bond work on normal types?

Yes.

It uses the exact move. STAB, weak/resist, and physical/special all depend on the move copied. It will be at 1.5x power.

A few questions about Wish. It heals Pokemon by how much? And can the same Pokemon that used Wish get healed? Also, how long does it take, and why does everyone suggest Baton Pass with Wish?

50%, yes, happens at the end of next turn, Baton Pass/Wish is a trick so (if the Passer is slow) you switch due to the effects of BP after they hit you so the Wisher takes the damage from your opponent's attack instead of the Pokemon you wanted to heal.

50%, yes, 2 turns:
Opponent attacks
Umbreon used Wish!
End of turn

Umbreon Protects
Opponent dawdles
Umbreon is healed

In that case, if Umbreon had baton passed and moved after it had been attacked, you can pass to a weakened team member without having to take the hit.

Edit: Damn, too slow =(

Destiny Bond has to go first in order to work.

I thought that too, but yesterday, this scenario happened:

Turn N:
Yanmega used Air Slash!
Gengar used Substitute!

Turn N+1:
Yanmega used Air Slash!
Gengar's Substitue was destroyed!
Gengar used Destiny Bond!

Turn N+2:
Yanmega used Air Slash!
Gengar fainted!
Gengar took Yanmega with him!

So apparently Destiny Bond can carry over to the next turn, which I did not know. =/

So I'm not disagreeing with what you said, just bringing up an example of another way Destiny Bond can work without going first.

I think Destiny Bond works until the Pokémon who used it takes another action. So it may differ depending on your speeds.

Can you Rest right before fighting Palmer, save, resume, and then turn off your DS if things don't go your way during the battle?

How do I get Cresselia to stay in one spot so I can catch it? That floating space duck (I don't know why people call it a duck; it doesn't look like one to me) has been taunting me for over 350 gameplay hours. . .

She moves to an adjacent route whenever you enter or exit a route yourself, and if you use an HM she moves far away.

I pussed out and used my Master Ball on her.

BTW, consensus is that she's based on a swan.
